Poor service and poor product!
Dear Steers,
I trust that my mail finds you well.
I logged a complaint with the above mentioned Steers last week Thursday 22 October 2020 and have received no feedback. My complaint was as follows;
My husband and I ordered 3 x wacky Wednesday specials and a Large chips.
The cashier was polite but management and staff operating the hot pass were terribly rude to us.
The staff started fighting with one another right in front of the clients. No chips were prepped so we waited an additional 15 min after placing an on line order and arriving 15 min later to pick up.
The Burgers had no sauce on them besides basting sauce and were just thrown into the boxes. The chips were not a full portion.
The attitude of this store is terribly disappointing.
I would like you to know this information to prevent this happening in the future. I would simply like a reply via email that this matter has been handled. I do not want any free stuff or to be invited back.

Order not delivered
Order was processed. Never delivered. To lazy to deliver before closing time. Usseless. Now my complaint is to short. Will never ever ever order again.
Ribs was too small
I bought rib and chips today on 21/10/2020 around 12:24 steers Vereeniging.
I always buy steers ribs, but the size that I got today Im so disappointed
I'm asking myself how do they weight their kg
And if I will go again
Worse part I didn't see them on time
I just took my order and went back to work hence I was on lunch
After work the way I was so furious I went to them around 15h 20 and I met the manager who told me that the person who made my order is on lunch
I was so surprised that the whole manager can't take decision about my case on top of that he told me that he can't give me extra ribs on top of that because he must account for that
I mean it I'm so disappointed to get this treatment for my R100

Poor services delivery - multiple times
This is the 3rd time that I have ordered from Steers Newcastle CBD where I had a problem.
The first time we ordered from them online before the lockdown and waited about 2 and a half hours, tried to contact them and could not get through so my husband went to Steers self to hear what was going on. They then blamed the delivery guy saying they dont know where he is at. My husband finally received our order almost an hour after entering the store. They "compensated" by giving us a milkshake for free.
The second time was a few months back. I also ordered online and saw that the order did not go through, so I phoned the store, spoke to the manager (very friendly Indian lady) where she told the staff to complete the order. I waited an hour and a half with no order being delivered, phoned AGAIN where as the manager said she is going to investigate. The cashier never processed the order. Again we were "compensated" with 2 small milkshakes.
The third time was today. I sent in my order @ 14:27 and only received my order an hour later, when I checked the order inside the house, I saw that the order was incomplete. I immediately phoned them and asked that they please deliver the rest of my order. I waited approximately 50 min before phoning them again, because I still havent received my order. The same lady from the previous time answered this time and said she was going to investigate. Apparently the driver still wasnt back and they didnt want my order to get cold. Order nr 248
This is out of 4 times that i have ordered from Steers Newcastle CBD.
Im am totally fed up with the lack of service delivery from them.
I hope you will escalate the complaint or do proper investigation as to what is going on at this branch.
Entire meal
First of all you wait a whole hour for your delivery. And the when you receive it the chips are burned and the Burge is cold and then you ordered a meal with milkshakes and then they also forgat the milkshakes. Bad bad bad service I'm highly upset
Constant problems with food and service
Good day.
I'd like to inform you guys of a constant problem I've had with steers in Queensburgh. On numerous occasions there's been issues and a problem with my order on every single time I've bought. I think I'm rather silly to keep going back but it's the closest steers to where I live. The only reason I am emailing is because I used to think that steers as a whole is just gone downhill but I bought from steers in Springfield Park last week and was so surprised to find that my order was fresh and everything was hot. Chips were crisp and soft on the inside, patty was also hot. This made me think of buying from Queensburgh again this weekend on the 12th of September 2020. What a disappointment again. Cold burger, cold patty, burnt chips. And I thought steers took pride in thick chips? I was given small offcuts that were burnt. I unfortunately didn't take pictures but trust me if I order again there would be issues. My tomato on my burger was off as well. It's just sickening. I used to think it was bed service but it's just getting worse. Something has got to be done.
It's just sad because it's the only steers in that area and as residents we deserve good quality food.

This is not the first time I am complaining about my order, this is actually the 4th time when I get home my order is not correct, even before I have checked the order in store and its wrong, I got home last night after collecting my order to find once again the chips I paid for is not in my order, I am very very upset as I have ordered chips with cheese sauce before as well get home plain chips, my burgers also have been wrong before. I dont think I will ever support steers again online or even go to rockys drift again I tried to phone when I got home and the phone just rings non stop very very bad service

Steer burgers
20 June 2020, Preto port on the N1 between Pretoria and Polokwane, I buy 2 steers burger.
The pattie's was cold which means it was not prepare on time.
The type of pattie's was not beef, because you can taste beef in there.
Steers does not deliver quality food "burgers" us they market to the public.
Hope this will reach the right audience.
Online delivery services
I ordered food using the steers app on the 23 may 2020. I paid for everything online and at the end I received an error message saying the store cannot accept orders using web channel. My money was not returned and to this day i'm still struggling with the store. I called on numerous occasions but i'm not getting any assistance from anyone. The last time I was told they would contact me but no one has called
King steer burger and chicken burger
I ordered a steers family meal and chicken burgers for supper via uber eats today for supper. I was very disappointed and shocked with the way the meal was prepared. The burger pattie was raw on the inside, and not cooked properly. Furthermore to my disappointment was the chicken fillet that was used which tasted like fish not chicken. Usually a lover of steers burgers but the quality of the meal today was very dissatisfying. My kids were fasting and very hungry and this was supposed to be supper, very very upset!

My name is Anchen Rabie ([protected]). I have send in a complaint to info.[protected]@steers.co.za on the 15/05/2020 and have not received any feedback. You complaints telephone no is also not working.
On the 15/05/2020 we ordered food at 16h10 and paid for the order via the steers app. Order 110. We called in after an hour and was told the food was ready but they are waiting for a driver. We tried again after half an hour (still without food) and ten we got a voice prompt that the line was extremely busy. We received our order at 18h30. But, I ordered 3x burgers and only received 2. Me and my son had to share a burger as we tried phoning both your complaints no and the store's no without any success. We paid for everything before hand and when the driver delivered the food he wanted proof of payment.
This was noting else but theft. We paid for food that we did not get. Shame on you. I do not want free food through this complain.in fact I will not ever make use of steers again. This is just to tell you that your company will not be blessed as you rip off hard working people.
Product service complaint
I cannot express my frustrations enough. I ordered an online Wacky Wednesday deal today and the first frustration is that i tried to cancel the order online, I mean I placed it at 11am for 16:30pm but yet I could not cancel the order online it does not give you an option.
Then I spent the whole day trying to get ahold of the store to cancel the order and not even once did I get through. It kept on saying the line is busy... the whole day!
Okay fine the order arrives, I ordered 4Beef patty burgers... BEEF. I don't eat chicken burger and had I wanted a chicken burger I would have opted for Mac Chicken, but I wanted beef and not just any beef but beef from Steers. Please understand my frustration after this long wait during this lockdown period.
I stay in Brits Letlhabile, that is so many kilometers from Philip Nel Park, here I am sitting with chicken burgers I didn't order. I paid almost R200 for a Wacky Wednesday meal which would have cost me R50 under normal circumstances, but because I'm such a sucker for Steers burgers I actually didn't mind to pay R172 for my meal.
I'm disappointed, I'm frustrated, I feel like screaming. And the sad part about it is that I cannot even get my money back... Do you understand where I'm coming from? A wrong order? How? Like how? Even the slip says 4beef patties yet I have chicken patties. Yah weitsi!
I immediately sent an email to make them aware but until.now I have not received a response. This is very unacceptable. Period!
I then sent an email on the same day that I recieved the order and we didn't eat the burgers just incase they would respond and want me to present them with physical evidence. They did not respond, I sent am email on a Wednesday to Steers Philip Nel that was the 13th of May 2020, until today I have not recieved a response and then on the 14th I sent another email to [protected]@steers and they too did not respond today is the 15th and I have not received any feedback from both steers in Philip Nel not even from [protected]@steers.
I am so disappointed because steers burgers are the best beef burgers and I cannot have my beef burgers anywhere else well its a preference but I cannot seem to find it in my heart to forgive this. I actually want to say I want my money back, I had to give my burger away because I don't do chicken burgers and only had chips so basically I feel like I bought steers chips worth R200... imagine such madness, especially in this pandemic.

I orders 2 classic burgers which goes witj chips. For R53 each and half chicken which goes witj chips foe R84
To my surprise they delivered 2 burger for R61 each without chips.and a half chicken without chips
I called the m many time to bring my chips but i got empty promises. Even now im still waiting for my chips
value for money poor service
I always buy this in Bela Bela when working away from home. Wanted to treat my wife to a delicious meal. What a mager disappointment. This is not value for money. Really R187.90 for this? Good morning
I have been a loyal client to Steers for as long as I can remember. Purely because you make the best takeaway chips. I've always enjoyed eating Steers above all other fast food.
That however has completely changed after last night. We bought 3 Wacky Wednesday meals and 2 large chips. This was at your branch located opposite Cape Gate mall in Cape Town. My eldest daughter decided to eat her burger late the evening while the rest of my family finished ours.
My eldest not being fond of garnish normally removes it all before eating her burger. To our astonishment the attached is what she found. A half-eaten burger patty. I mean how the hell man. To be honest this is utterly gross and nauseating to say the least and I know you would agree. The problem is that I don't know if the rest of the burgers were in the same state as I TRUST (or rather used to) that what I receive from Steers is quality. Hence me being a client for years.
I'm still sick to my stomach because of this and the culprit NEEDS to be fired in my opinion. There is ABSOLUTELY no excuse for such a grotesque and horrendous act. I honestly have a good mind and take this the social media route on this one as I'm still flabbergasted by this alarming discovery.

When i tried calling, it just rang to no answer. This is the second time im facing problems. Another time i made an online order and paid for it online but when i sent someone to collect it the staff had thrown my slip away and the order was not ready. I purchased 12 Sweets Sticks with my hamburger. When I got home I found over fried sweet sticks that one could smell they were burnt. I was totally disgusted and we could not eat them and had to throw them away. What a waste of good money.
We have had the sweet sticks before but this was a real waste of money.
