This company, Stevens Business Service, Inc., messed up my credit report on three credit bureaus: Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. They opened an account on 06/01, but the information they posted was wrong and confusing. They even got the balances wrong ($237.00). I tried contacting them, but they haven't responded yet. I also sent disputes to the Credit Bureaus.

So, like, I called up Stevens Business Service, Inc. on 2/23/2022 at like 2:30pm est. I was all like, "Hey, I got this debt in collection you guys are handling, what's the deal?" They were all like, "We can settle it for 60% over the phone and make it disappear from your credit report." I was like, "Cool, but can I get that in writing?" And they were all like, "Nah, you gotta pay us first, then we'll give you the deets in writing." I was like, "Hold up, that's shady. I wanna see the terms before I fork over any cash." But they were all like, "Nope, pay up first, then we'll talk." It's like they don't wanna put anything in writing until they get paid. I just want them to put it in writing, man. Then I'll pay up, no problemo.

I haven't had a National Grid account in over 5 years, and I no longer own the house where I had the account. I don't even live in *** anymore. I haven't received any communication from National Grid or Stevens Business Service, and I had no idea about this until I got a notice that my fico score dropped into the 600s. I did some digging and found out that Stevens Business Service is the one who reported this wrong information. This is really bad business practice and it should be illegal and punished. If this isn't fixed right away, I'm going to contact a lawyer!

I asked them to prove this account is legit, but they can't do it. Still, they keep messing up my credit even though they can't confirm the debt, which is totally fake. It seems like this company might have sneakily gotten hold of my personal info and reported it to the credit agencies just to force me into paying a debt that ain't even mine. They're acting all shady, and this is my last shot at giving them a chance to fix their records before I take 'em to court and make 'em pay for all the legal fees and damages.

I was tryna pay off the balance, but I ain't payin' no business that can't even get their info straight. How the heck do I fix my credit report now?

So, I called them up and they asked for the last 4 digits of my Social Security number. I mean, come on! I don't even know these guys and they want my personal info? No way! The info they got listed is all wrong and it's there 'cause someone stole my identity. I didn't get any benefit or stuff from these accounts, so they gotta take 'em off my credit report. This account don’t belong to me, it’s fraudulent. I am a victim of identity theft. I have never opened an account with *** and I had no knowledge of an account in my name until it appeared on my credit report. there was no inquiry from *** / Stevens business inc. until recently as of March , before then I had absolutely no knowledge of a account because I *** have never opened an account with national grind and I have never missed a single payment for any of the accounts I actually own, my credit report can confirm that I have excellent payment history with every account that actually belongs to me, In addition to that I’ve had a security freeze on my credit report since 2007 so to grant credit or provide service in my name without identification and other identity verifying documents shouldn’t have been allowed and if my credit was checked *** should’ve noticed a security freeze and fraud alert and not have allowed service in my name at a address I do not reside and never lived at without first confirming the identity of the applicant. Sevens business inc. claimed to have mailed me a dispute packet I have yet to receive, they also agreed to close the account which is still open and doing more damage to my credit reports, the account amount went from zero dollars due to an amount over two thousand dollars and the account is now noted as open as of April 16th which means the company did the opposite of what they agreed on.
