I had some problems with the property and I told the company about them, but they didn't fix anything. They did the move out inspection on May 25, just three days before my lease was up on May 28. Stillwater Property won't give me back my $400 deposit, even though they're charging me for stuff that was cleaned and moved out before my lease ended. They also tried to charge me extra fees that weren't in my lease, and they kept bothering me about payments that I already made.

sent a deposit check to Stillwater Property for both myself and my former roommate. However, there was a mistake in how the check was written, using the "&" symbol instead of "or". Unfortunately, I am currently located 800 miles away and unable to cash the check without my former roommate present.

When I reached out to the owner, Clayton, he advised me to contact the office for assistance. Upon speaking with the office staff, they informed me that there were no other options available to rewrite or resend another check. To my dismay, they even went as far as accusing me of lying about my inability to cash the check without the other payee present.

Regrettably, they refused to find an alternative method to provide us with our rightful deposit refund. It is frustrating that they are unwilling to accommodate us in a way that allows us to access our own money. The individuals I spoke with were impolite and disrespectful, making it impossible to reach a mutual understanding and resolve the issue.

I got a problem with the rental property management at Stillwater Property. They charged me $940 and I want them to take it off and give me back my deposit. I rented a two-story townhouse at 818 W. 8th Ave. Stillwater, Oklahoma from June to May . I paid $400.00 as a deposit and $200.00 for a pet deposit that they won't give back. When I moved in, the place was dirty and smelled like animals and sewage. I complained about the animal smell, but nothing changed. I left the place in May when my lease was up. During the big snow and ice storm in February/March , water leaked from the shower on the second floor to the ceiling on the first floor. The people at Stillwater Property say it's my fault, but who knows if there were problems with the place already. They're charging me $940 for fixing the water damage from the storm, plus a bunch of other charges for cleaning and stuff that was already messed up before I got there.

We gave them a 500$ deposit for renting. When we called to ask about our responsibilities upon checkout, they gave us a list of things to do to get the house ready for the next tenants, and we did them all. We swept and mopped the floors, scrubbed the walls, filled holes with spackle, and even swept under the fridge and oven. We even hired a carpet cleaning service that they suggested. But, unfortunately, they somehow charged us the exact amount of our deposit for "cleaning purposes" and other things like lightbulbs and blinds. We're arguing about the cost of the cleaning services because we cleaned everything even better than the previous tenant, and they didn't clean professionally after them, so I don't understand why they needed to charge us so much. We were really clean and even returned the keys earlier than expected. It seems suspicious that the charges ended up being exactly the same as our deposit.
