I purchased the StoneDine cookware. At first I was extremely satisfied. However, in using the cookware in my everyday cooking, I began noticing that the coating inside the cookware started to fade off. I used plastic or wooden utitensils in order to have them last as long as possible. I began noticing that the cooking was not evenly distributed and most of the heat on the bottom of the cookware (the stainless steel area) began to turn black and the outside of the pans began to retain grease and burn into the sides. I found myself having to scrub the bottom of the pans and sides vigorously and still could not keep them new in appearance. Another thing I started noticing was that my cooktop on my stove began having a film cooked into the glass top that would not come off...hence ruining my glass cookstove top! I returned all the pots and pans (I paid the expensive postage) and StoneDine sent me another complete set. After about 3 months the same thing started happening. I wrote the StoneDine.Com rep and she said she had to forward my emails to "corporate" singe this had been my second contact with them. I have since sent 3 more emails with no one responding. I will never purchase this product again, nor would I suggest anyone purchase it.

I am ver surprises by these comments, as I have only purchased a large stone dine fry pand and I couldnt be happier.
I have always cooked with little iols or fats, but now ive cooking with none.
I do find that things like egss, do not slide as the adds show, but they do not stich what so ever.I use my spatular and the eggs lift off no problems.
I have heard that some people did not use as directed, and may be thats where some issues stem from.

You do not use highest heat, medium is the highest you need, and you must wipe over your pans with a little oil on paper towel before useing for the first time, leaving a few hours, then its good to go.

When i asked regarding cleaning, aparently they do not like you to wash them in the usualy way in lots of warm soapy water, so ive only ever used paper towel, but ill admit some times i do use a little water and wipe with the towel, but only because i feel as it ive not done the washing up.
I am extremely happy.

Guys
Be very careful
the TV SHOP is a bunch of thieves and liars who will steal your money and provide you the worst customer service as soon as you want to return the product that you have bought.
Another thing to learn here..if you really do want the product. /and don't really care that you are NOT PROVIDED WITH THE GUARANTEE DOCUMENTS as per their advertisements on TV and by the SALES STAFF then / it is my advice that you should still call them..as you can save half price on all the items you buy from them... it is upto you how much you want to save .. you just have to negotiate with them. just call them to say you want to return..because this way they will CUT A DEAL WITH YOU/ and give the product to you at HALF PRICE. personal experience..though for us..it came upon because we really wanted to ensure that we did get the GUARANTEE papers as claimed by them.

BE VERY CAREFUL>>AS THEY CAN CHARGE WHATEVER THEY FEEL LIKE BEYOND YOUR AGREED PRICE. AND THEIR SALES DEPARTMENT WILL RETURN CALL 24/7 BUT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT WILL NEVER RETURN YOUR CALL>.

I love the look of the stonedine set on tv, but before I part with my hard earned cash I am going to buy a single stonedine frypan from $35 at Harvey Norman (aus) and see how it goes first!

I bought a set 4 months ago and absolutely LOVE them. I haven't had any of the problems mentioned. I bought mine through Amazon so the customer service was great. I have cooked on high heat and not had any problems. It says in the paperwork that you can't use high heat above 350 in the oven. You can put it on whatever setting you want on the stove. And as far as seasoning, most good quality cookware requires seasoning, so that doesn't bother me. I would and have recommend stonedine to other people.

I am sorry you are having so much problems with your Stone Dine . I have had the pans for about 1-1/2 years now and I use them everyday, but my pans look brand new, has no wear on them and no stains. I did season them and let them set overnight so the oil could soak in good. I always start with medium heat, because if you pan is not cast iron, any pan with have problems with high heat even stainless steel. Good luck with your shopping for pans, maybe Stone Dine with come up with solution for the high heat cookers.

Mine works fine, I use it twice a day on average and I normally oil it with a thin layer of coconut oil after washing (using a non abrasive wash cloth) and cook at a VERY low temp as the heat does distribute quite well. its been one year... so far so good but will soon see. I dont particularly think it's as revolutionary as infomercials often project (come on people, its an infomercial but until now it's fine. no film on my ceramic top just yet either. maybe I was the lucky individual with one that actually works... or you just got two really ### pans.

Mine has also been sticking from about the 3rd time I used it. I use on low heat and have also only used plastic utensils. I rang and they told me about seasoning so I have been seasoning it, using oil and just wiping for 3 months now and EVERYTHING still STICKS, even fatty food or adding oil! DONT BUY STONEDINE, customer service is POOR!

I love my stonedine. I have not had any problems with it. However, I do not let my teenage son use them because they will just scratch them up. When they say nothing sticks...they are absolutely correct, not even grits. fried potatoes, rice, and oatmeal. When making things like oatmeal, cream of wheat or grits, you can just take a cloth as stated and wipe the pan clean. I have never had to soak or use a pad to clean. I will never buy another pan again. I have had my pots and pans for well over a year and I cook everyday...

I received my StoneDine cookware for Christmas three years ago, and I am very pleased with it. I am in the process of ordering another set. Before receiving this set I spent a lot of money on cookware, especially frying pans only to have the coating come off the pans. The only problem I see with this cookware is that it is showing signs of wear around the rim of the pans. Other than that I am very pleased with my set.

Ours was great for about 3 weeks, now it is not non stick in the slightest. If OH had kept the receipt I would have taken it back. Our cast iron un coated is more non stick than this is. I would like my money back.

I have owned the stonedine set now for 6 years. I love it. I cook everyday using it. Anything from fried food to sticky sauced stir frys and I never have any trouble with it,
It cleans up like a breeze every time. I wouldn't use anything else now.

We bought the full set, have been using it for 2 years ? (More than 1 year anyway) and it has lived up to our high expectations. Nothing sticks to any of the pans. Only complaint is a couple more lids would have been useful. Love stone dine, and no I won't be getting any "kick back" for posting this. Perhaps others aren't using them properly or didn't prepare them as recommended.

I cant believe it! Really I cant believe that I was stupid enough to fall for it! I was so excited to finally receive my stonedine that my great nan brought us for our wedding present until about the sixth time I used it and everything started to stick! Now I have to use a cup of oil to cook anything in it and that doesn't garentee it wont stick, you have to soak it for ages to get it clean! My relived nan died before she witnessed the disgraceful quality of the gift we were so excited about.

I would have to dissagree. I have had my stonedine for just over 14 months and it is still as good as the day i bought it and i use it everyday. Yes it doesnt come clean as well as on the tv infomercials but i just run it under water n wipe clean while still warm no scrubbing involved. Also as far as seasoning the pan first all this entails is putting a couple of drops of oil on a paper towel and wipeing it over the surface alot better and healthier than the old style pouring 1-2table spoons of oil into the pan. The trick is only use low to medium heat which as these pans bases are so thick they hold heat and evenly i may add so no need for high heat which all of this is stated in the instruction manual that comes with the pots and pans. I follow them and like i said havent had a problem still love them as much as the day i bought them. I also cant complain about customer service as when i received my free 35cm pan the screw for the handle wasnt in the box so i called them and they told me they would send 1 out, within 5 days i received the new screw plus another whole pan as a gift for my trouble. I would honestly recomend stonedine as i love and cook with mine everyday all you have to do is read and follow instructions but thats no different than majority of what you buy these days.

I found the above comments on the stonedine products when looking for a skillet as Christmas gift. I am not advocating stonedine, nor questioning others experiences, etc. I just wanted all people to hear my experience. And I promise - I am not related to the stonedine co., paid to say this, or any other things I always think about when reading these 'comments' on any product. This is my first time writing a "comment " on anything - so here goes - I will try to make it short - but I have a lot to say. I purchased set of stonedine from T.V advertisement - 3 skillets(large, med, saute) + plus (3) various size/type pots. Dont remember the cost - but I now know it didn't matter. Starting with cust. service experience: received all pieces - except 1 skillet. Called cust serv - explained problem - they tracked it - found the problem - I rec'd new skillet within 2 wks (was USPS error) Approx 1 year later I returned a skillet because finish had been burned off. Not the problem of the product - my daughter caught the skillet (and almost the whole kitchen) on fire. I rec'd a new skillet within a month. I have been using ONLY my stonedine for 2 - 3 years. And the surface is still perfect. I saute veges, fry any type meat, fry/scramble eggs, on and on. Everything I previously prepared in a skillet using oil, butter, etc (to saute, fry etc) - I now prepare in my stonedine skillet using nothing. Never does anything stick. Cleanup consists of wiping out skillet with paper towel. I wash with soap & water approx once/weekly - depending on what I cooked. If that seems unsanitary - do it more often (never use dishwasher!). I do agree with the above complaint about the bottom of skillet becoming blackened. I dont know if scrubbing with heavy duty cleaners would make the bottom look new again. The quality of the inside surface is 100 times better than anything i have used in 40 years of cooking. So, I apoligize if this sounds unclean to anyone, but I really dont care what the bottom of my skillet looks like. I would not trade my stonedine skillets for the most expensive cookware available anywhere. I am sorry for the experiences I read above. I don't know if I was just lucky or if they rec'd a generic brand of cookware - not stonedine. I have seen some cookware with names similiar to "StoneDine" - based on what I read above, I will make sure that I order only from my brochures rec'd with my first set. For all readers, I would look closely into this product - it has been a life saver for me - even my husband cooks 10X more than before - and brags to his MALE FRIENDS about his "Skillet" (Hilarious)

I purchased my Stone Dine cookware as soon as it came on the market for sale.I love it! It's been the best cookware I have ever owned.I am planning on getting another set for my sister. It's great!Sure it has wear and tear on it from my usage but if you don't follow directions about the coating it will wear off quicker than normal. The point being is I would highly recommend this cookware. It's great and with normal usage it will last a long time.I use my everyday and do not have a problem. So THANKYOU STONEDINE!

I have purchased several pieces of the Stonedine cookware and have had nothing but success. My mouth dropped open when I began to read these comments. My only complaint is the workmanship. The handles will not stay on and after many attempts, you have to use the item sans handle. I am sorry that so many people are having a bad time. Right now, I am enjoying the products. I have had mine over a year and my eggs still "slide around" the pan. I must say, I am careful about caring for the pots and pans; also, I am mindful of the temperature - I am a fan of the NUWave cooktop - I use controlled heat.
