4/16/22 My mom has been using SUNation Energy since April . She asked me to check out the service in early 2021. I've been keeping track of the data every month and I can confidently say that SUNation gives my mom reliable power from the sun, which covers all her energy needs. Not only that, but she's also saving a good chunk of money (around 25%) on her electricity bill. SUNation has always been there to answer any questions we have, and the billing process has been smooth. We highly recommend SUNation to anyone in their area.

From the initial sales consult, to working together on designing the perfect system for our needs, to contracting and financing, through permitting, to the install and post-install support and inspections, Sunation held our hand every step of the way. Their communication was excellent, pricing was very competitive versus the other companies we considered, and their workmanship and install was perfection. We actually get compliments on how great the panels look on our roof!Our system was installed several months ago and has performed EXACTLY as promised. In our experience, Sunation is a company that approaches its customers with honesty, communicates well, and delivers on their promises.

I got solar panels put in January , but in April , my system stopped working. I was still getting charged even though it wasn't working. I called Sunation about 6 times, and they kept saying it would be fixed in a week. Now it's November ***, and I still haven't heard anything from them.

Even when you do, you still receive bills from the electric company and have zero savings. It's pure fraud. We are filing a complaint today. Please be cautious with this business, it's a huge fraud. They even put a lien on my house without providing any services at all.

In July, we got these solar panels put on our house by a company called Level Solar. But right after they finished, Level Solar went bankrupt. Sunation Solar Systems took over our account and promised to get our system connected and running in no time. It's been almost 4 years now, and they still haven't connected our panels. They don't even answer our calls or emails anymore. We've missed out on 4 years of energy savings, and we're stuck with a contract from a company that won't do what they promised. We need your help to make Sunation finally connect our panels and give us the compensation we deserve for the energy we've lost. It's all in our contract, after all.

I just bought my house with them solar panels on the roof. I seen leaks all over my house, on the sheet rock ceiling. I called them solar company and they sent out a crew to fix them leaks caused by the installation of them solar panels. Since then it's been 3 and a half months and them leaks keep on happening. Every time I call the boss man, ***, he don't call me back. I called to get them panels taken off, and that ain't happening for another month. My house keeps on getting messed up. I reckon the front part of my roof is now messed up 'cause they ain't taking care of the back side of my home. I want them solar panel company to do what they promised, replace the back part of my roof and the shingles on the front part of my roof.

I first informed them about leaks in my roof about 6 months ago, to which they replied that they would conduct a leak test. After many attempts, they finally came and removed the panels in November, only to discover significant damage to my roof. They then mentioned that they would send a contractor to assess the damage. The contractor came and confirmed that I needed a new roof and repairs on the ceilings inside. That was over 2 months ago, and I haven't heard back from the contractor or ***, who handles this issue. One of the problems is their complete lack of communication. I have called the contractor numerous times, left many emails, and still haven't received a response. At this point, the ceilings are deteriorating, and I have no confidence that they will ever resolve the issue.

We have solar panels that were sold to us by *** Solar and installed by *** Solar Energy Contractors. When I got the bill, I thought maybe there was a lot of rain and we didn't generate much solar energy. Moving on to the next month's bill of $957.23, with $226.01 being the loan payment. I immediately called *** because there are only two people living in our house and most days no one is home. *** told me that we haven't been generating energy since June 9, which is about 2.5 months. I called ***, the company responsible for maintaining the panels, and they asked if I had a contract to monitor the panels. I said that no one ever offered me a contract, verbally or in writing, and it's not in any of the excessive paperwork I received when I signed the contract. I explained that *** Solar assured us that *** constantly monitors the panels and if there's a problem, they would be alerted and we would be notified. *** told me that they no longer work with *** Solar and that the company made big promises to potential customers. (*We referred friends who bought the panels. They told me that the company is monitoring their panels because they were told the same thing - no monitoring contract either.) I reached out to *** Solar and someone got back to me and said, "I'm sorry if a salesman who doesn't work for the company anymore misrepresented you." After that, *** came to fix the panels on September 2nd. The repair person told me that the outage was caused by ***. I spoke to *** and he confirmed that there was indeed a brief outage on June 10th at *** am. He said that I should have been told to use an app to monitor the system. Fast forward, we did receive a bill for service from 8/24-9/17 for $609.

The roof damage is causing major leaks in my house, like a faucet that's slightly turned on. It's messing up multiple walls, electrical outlets, and even my ceiling, which looks like it might collapse when it rains. The water goes all the way down to my basement. Finally, I managed to get an appointment for Oct 15. But a few days before, SN called and changed it to Oct 16. Then they changed it again to Oct 20. On Oct 20, someone from SN came to do the work, but he said there was too much damage to the roof and he didn't have enough time to finish it. He said SN would have to call me to reschedule and it would take at least 4 hours to get the job done. After a week, SN still hadn't called, so I called them on Oct 27 (and sent an email) and got a new appointment for Nov 12. But then SN called and changed it to Nov 17. On Nov 17, a crew of 2 people came, but they said they didn't have complete notes and that the job needed a crew of 4 people. They said SN would have to make a new appointment. But once again, SN didn't call me. So I called them and they offered me an appointment for Dec 16. At that point, I asked to speak to a manager because this problem was dragging on. When the manager heard how serious the situation was, they moved the appointment up to Nov 24. On Nov 24, a team of 2 people came and patched up the holes in the roof and removed some solar panels. The technicians said we needed a roofer to finish the job and that SN would call to schedule an appointment. But SN never called. So on 12/9, I emailed the manager I had spoken to before to ask for a date for the roofers to come. He replied in the morning on 12/10 saying he would get back to me later in the morning with an appointment. But he never followed up and hasn't responded to my follow-up messages (as of 12/21).

They really promised alot and failed to keep their word and promise in multiple aspects I really dont recommend anyone go solar because it not worth getting in debt and having a system that does not function as promised and have damage done to your roof. The first person I spoke to pauline promised a solar panel instalation with a tesla battery I started the paper work and a few months went by then they changed Pauline as my rep to James he scheduled my instalation and I did not receive a tesla power bank with my instalation he told me that there must have Been a confusion cause they do not normally include them in their installs. I was promised 120 percent of my homes power production but the systems has never produced that much power for me it doing a little more than 70 percent so my I still pay around 60 dollars of electricity on top of the solar panels. They told me I would get exactly 12700 dollars of tax reimbursement so that I can pay off half of the instalation I got about 7000 and now have have to pay the difference on top of the 15 year loan. That 5,700 that I have to immediately pay back so there really is no saving as expected and the 0 money out of pocket cost is a lie. They told me that if my ceiling ever had a leak that I would need to call right away and that they would send some one immediately. Today my roof started leaking and they told me the soonest they would have some one out here would be a week. Both of my reps Pauline and James no longer work at sun Nation I have no one to go to for assistance and their service is *** poor I am really not happy with the desicion I made with this company to go solar.
