Bank withdraws support for long term community event
After 40+ years of allowing the Santa Fe Society of Artists to have weekend shows in their parking lot in downtown Santa Fe, First National 1870, owned by Sunflower Bank, are cancelling the contract and kicking them out because a local gallery employee assaulted the night security guard which turned into a confrontation. They need to restore this relationship and support the local art community. This is the 3rd largest art market in the country!
Recommendation: There are a lot of banks that support their local community that you can give your business to.

My bank account got closed because of a fuss about an overdraft charge
My bank account got closed because of a fuss about an overdraft charge. Around *** my accounts. I talked to sunflower's support people like six times, and every time they said they'd look into it and call me, but of course, no calls from them. Recently I talked to a swell dame named Sydney who told me the check was sent out on 7/29. I told her there was something wrong with that and I want my dough back. She said she'd check it out and let me know but no call like usual. I want my money back, and they can't just send me a check because they've already tried that, but because they think they're a big bank, they can keep my money. If I don't get this sorted out real quick, I'll have to get law enforcement involved. This bank is just trying to rip people off, and that's not fair!

I transferd 200 from my checkin acount on July 27, 2022, to prevent an overdraft fee but still got one
I transferd 200 from my checkin acount on July 27, 2022, to prevent an overdraft fee but still got one. I talkd to someone named *** and he said that the cut off time was 6, but I've made deposits later w/o a fee. Different employees gave me different cut off times, like 530, 9, midnight, now it's 6. I want my overdraft fee back cuz I did try to transfer the funds and it was pending. A manager name *** was really rude too. Sunflower bank keeps changing the cut off time and it's not fair that checks can go through w/o a cut off time and cause fees. My dad is dying and I can't afford another overdraft fee, pls refund.

Sunflower Bank really dropped the ball on this one. Ending a 40-year tradition over one incident shows a lack of commitment to the local art community. They should be finding solutions, not shutting down support for artists in one of the country’s top art markets. Hopefully, they reconsider and work to restore this relationship.
