First off, I am giving this site a 5 star on merit of being able to to make a lil extra on the side
First off, I am giving this site a 5 star on merit of being able to to make a lil extra on the side. Customer service is always spot on even if they don't solve my problem. The downside there is some site contracted with Survey Junkie that simply a problem, one in particular had me blocked then after explaining the logic and situation I was able to go and do my thing just have them block again claiming same issue. Honestly as reviewer and customer I would think survey junkie would not want to be associated with a contractor like that, especially when what the contractor wants would cause me to not to be online at all. Other then that hiccup and the occasional page error with some the other contractors, the site is great and is my go to each day to do surveys and make a lil extra on the side. It would be nice if they had more promotions for more opportunities.
i was gonna drop y'all a couple o' stars because you locked my account
i was gonna drop y'all a couple o' stars because you locked my account... but it was my fault it seems. you just wanted a review so i had to go diggin' in the back pages wherein i found an unopened email requesting a review. ;) i'll bug customer service anon. anyhoo i cannae complain. y'all are my "go to" survey group. good surveys. no irritating "sweepstakes", I work for points not for a "chance" to win points and prizes (gawd, bloody irritating). (saved the best for last) hey out there if you're looking for a place to get some extra $$ you've come to the right place, (should i tell ya)? right. the best part is that when you "point out" you get your $$ the SAME DAY and not damnear a month like this other "business" i know of. (yeah i'm getting the "business"). right then, until next review, ciao. (my last review got y'all just over 150 new members... any bonus for the next 150)? chuckle/wink

Survey Junkie is an easy to use survey online company (that I joined a month ago), that credits a few points (usually) to the member doing the particular survey, even if you can't do the survey, due to it filling up too quick (other survey companies don't give you any points if the survey fills up). Surveys that I've been able to complete range from 10 points to 55 points.
I especially like the fact that you can opt to have the points (1 points equals 1 penny) redeemed to your own bank account (other survey companies don't offer this direct deposit to bank method; so you end up with those other survey companies with either sending to PayPal - which I refuse to be a part of - or get redeemed with a gift card - of the survey company's choice).
In the past month, I've average redeemed $ 20.00 a week, that's paid (direct deposit) by Survey Junkie to my bank account. Thus, $ 80.00 a month is help in these times of high unemployment.
I love Survey Junkie!
I love Survey Junkie! I've made almost $300 since I started a couple years ago, but I've made most of it just since March when the pandemic started. If you spend a few hours a day, you can make $3-5 on average, sometimes more. They've just recently updated the minimum cash out to only $5 so you can cash out even quicker now! You can cash out with PayPal and gift cards, and your money transfers seamlessly! The survey payouts range from 10 points/cents to $2 and sometimes more. I've found the average is about 35 cents, but even if you dont qualify or the survey fills up, they give you 2 or 3 cents (most of the time). They also send short (1-3 mins) surveys through email in which they pay 10 cents. They also do promos about once a month where if you complete a certain number of days of completing 3 surveys a day, they'll give you $5 at the end of the promo. This is the best paid survey site I've found. Simple, easy to use, user friendly platform, and very few problems. Give Survey Junkie a try today and you'll be earning some extra cash in no time!
I have found the activity I like to do the most in my spare time
I have found the activity I like to do the most in my spare time... but on top of that, I get to earn CASH! After scoring points from the surveys you just go to the rewards tab and ask for Survey Junkie to send you a direct deposit straight into your bank account. They are not trying to upsell you to use other programs, they are clear about the points you earn. Everything about this Survey site has been awesome, legit, and no busy banners and gnarly advertisements all over the place, it's very fair, honest and FUN! Almost every evening, I receive a survey that asks for my 14 year old son to participate, he's on board! We spend quality time doing them together and I've learned things about my kid that I had no idea he knew about! Channels he watches on cable TV, Video-Game-Jargon, etc. It's like playing a board game together and getting paid for it. Thank you Survey Junkie for turning me into a "Survey Junkie"! Thank you for making a great, easy to understand, straight forward website. For helping companies conduct surveys and market research. I find this to be a brilliant business, and love giving my honest opinions to every question I am asked. I'm proud to be part of the Survey Junkie Community!
I think you guys are doing a terrific job giving and getting us great surveys that are relevant today as well as useful
I think you guys are doing a terrific job giving and getting us great surveys that are relevant today as well as useful.
Love to see more ads for surveys - good for ourselves and the company's that want our input.
I know that I've said this before but please do what you can with the time slots and awards given. To many times I see 5 minutes needed and say 10 or 20 points to be given only to find that the time needed needed is closer to 25-30 minutes. Just tell the companies doing this to stop or they will be deleted themselves.
I have recently noticed that I have taken a survey for say 10-15 minutes when suddenly they delete me without reason. This is totally unfair ! If it continues on I will let you know the survey number but let me check and see if this continues.
The only other thing that has happened is that I am told my survey results are not needed and a map or flags of many many countries comes up and we are all deleted. This is strange but if it happens to others as well as myself I don't mind.
One last thing - I've noticed that if a survey is being offered it maybe quickly taken up especially in the morning hours seconds after it has been offered - you may be getting hit with an algorithm by someone in the USA or overseas, especially China or India.
All around one of the better survey sites
All around one of the better survey sites. First week of use was impressive on how much I was able to bank, but as time went on more and more surveys became harder to complete or even get into without being bounced back to the home page immediately. On occasion longer surveys will not be credited even after reaching the final classification section. Lots of surveys to choose from, lots of different credits available. So as far as the surveys are concerned, the site is pretty good. The only real issue the site has is it's customer service. Customer service tickets are responded to with canned automatic responses or CS staff that just seem to try and pacify the user. I had one 15 min survey that took 30 minutes to complete only to be rejected at the end. I wrote customer service just to vent and express how damaging that kind of thing was to user trust and faith. I also provided the survey number so that they could reference it and see if there was a fix. They responded with a canned email saying that kinda thing happens and if I wanted them to investigate that I should message them back with the survey number. I provided it in my initial email! So, yeah, it can be frustrating at times but they have a lot of short surveys and offer some good incentives from time to time. Good site, needs some improvements here and there.
I enjoy doing these surveys. Survey Junkie is one site that actually does pay you and they do not play games like some other survey sites. if you are looking for a way to make a few dollars and have some time to kill I would definitly recommend Survey Junkie.
I find the surveys informative and the company to be above board in all it's dealings. I appreciate the opportunity to make my voice heard on various topics.
It's exactly what it is advertised. Great , easy and just not a lie. Do the surveys get paid!
This is an actual legitimate survey app that you can use to take surveys and earn some money...I REALLY like this app..& I'm glad I found it. There are alot of fun & a variety of surveys available to take on this app. GOOD
They are pretty good for a few months, until they suspend your account for "Fraudulent Activity"
They are pretty good for a few months, until they suspend your account for "Fraudulent Activity". I have been filling out these surveys every day, as much as I can when they become available. At first, it was great, and I felt like this was one of the best survey sites out there because you could redeem points so quickly. But once I got to around the $200 mark, they suspended my account and I had to contact support and talk to them, and even verify my account before they activated me again. Once I got back on, I was suspended again within a week. I was making $5-$15 a day off their website. To me, it seems like they were just sick of paying me. I think they are shady, and when you contact them about the suspension, they give you the most awful canned "SJ reserves the right to suspend anybody who etc. etc." nonsense. Did I mention that they were doing a promotion the first time I got suspended? You get an extra $5 if you reached the correct number of surveys every day for 10 days. I got suspended right in the middle of that. Guess what I was in the middle of again when I got suspended the second time? During another promotion. Survey Junkie is an absolute scam, but you won't find out until you've invested your time. They do NOT want to pay you money. They cap you out once you get to a point and they are crooks. Stay away from them.
It made me use my brains and learn something new plus get paid
Only survey app that actually pays you & ensures to provide ways to earn daily :)
I like the website pretty well. Most of the surveys are good, every once in awhile I'll have one that the web page freezes up but otherwise I enjoy it
Survey junkie is the best legit and the fastest paying servey love this app
I was new to Survey Junkie
I was new to Survey Junkie. I started out slow then gained 8.31 in points. Back story; my job was affected by covid and this was a way i could at the very least earn something or at least I thought... I went to redeem points. But, immediate was thrown into the Verification Ring. " add your number to queue" did not work. Stating a call would be made in 5 min. However; I did receive a call from another company. So, im assuming survey Junkie sold off my phone number but ignored my verification process. Then I was guided to "desktop" view verification lol - which they had not disclosed in the first attempt. I then proceeded to verify with my ID... That did not work. Said they couldn't verify me... Haha - shocked? No... This is criminal... Im sure if their business was investigated they would find something very shady going on. Anyway. After many attempts in trying to verify me... I gave up.. I deleted my account because I feared this being a Malware Scam. Note: regardless of your response I do not want to be contacted by anyone in that company out of safety. With all the questions asked and all the "approvals" I had given them to view certain things on my computer/phone when conducting a survey... So.. BEWARE this is not a legit survey company. READ THE PRIVACY STATEMENT. Have your lawyer read the privacy statement. I will be doing so.
Survey Junkie is a legit site. You do the surveys and earn points and once you get to 500 points which is $5.00 you can cash out to PayPal or different options. Me personally I do PayPal. Love this app!
To be honest I do enjoy making money but so far I've cashed out twice and have not received any funds yet but hopefully it comes through
It's been a nice experience overall. However, it would help surveys were more tailored to one's demographic stats so you don't have to get to take surveys you don't qualify for.
I have enjoyed taking different types of surveys. I like the wide variety that you offer
I just clicked on 13 surveys that had filled up
I just clicked on 13 surveys that had filled up. I usually have to click on 20 to 30 a day before finding a survey I qualify for that isn't filled up. There are also stupid surveys that ask how many people work in my organization, when I don't even have an organization. I spend 30 to 60 minutes on some surveys, only to get a message saying that I don't qualify. A few surveys that I don't qualify for give me 2 points just for trying. Many surveys have technical problems and the submit button won't work after I have spent an hour filling them out. Yesterday a survey asked where I spent my last holiday and what I liked about the place. I wrote that I spent it in *** in our apartment. I like that the other tenants of the building go away on holidays, which means we have peace and quiet for a change. I got a notice that I didn't qualify for this survey either, after spending too much time on it. Whoever writes these surveys must do a better job of writing the questions and ask whether or not I went away for the holiday and not assume that EVERYONE goes away for all holidays. I make about 5 to 10 cents an hour on these surveys, but sometimes use them to fill time while waiting on the phone on hold or waiting for tires to be put on my car etc. It isn't worth dedicating any time to these surveys. They certainly are not worth it.
I completed every task been waiting for months for two payouts. The dates always change when it hits that date. I've told family and friends about this app . Now everyone think I'm running a scam .
I enjoy taking surveys. The surveys are very informative. I will continue to take them.
Website and surveys are fun. It would be nicer if the cash out was available right away though.

Staff is really nice, but it can be very frustrating on a daily basis
Staff is really nice, but it can be very frustrating on a daily basis. Sometimes you so spend 20 minutes completing a survey and then when it's finished it comes up and tells you that you do not qualify for the survey. But wait! I just TOOK the survey - if I did not qualify why did you let me take it!? Other times you will be deep within a survey where you are being asked questions, answering, and then hitting next only to get to a next button that will not move you forward... no matter what you try. So you have to abandon a survey you have spent a very long time completing. And qualifying for a survey is difficult to begin with. I sometimes have gone through 10 or more before qualifying - and you spend about 3 minutes filling out MANY questions before they tell you that you do not qualify. Survey Junkie gives you 3 pennies each time this happens, so in about 15 minutes you have made about 24 cents. One other thing that bothers me is that they SHOW these high paying surveys - $2.50, $4.00, etc. but I have never once been able to even get to the qualifying questions. I think these are bogus surveys that do not even exist, to make it look like there are high paying surveys available. Staff is friendly, and they get back to your e-mails quickly, but they are never of any help. They don't know anything. If they were a movie theatre they would not be able to tell you what the showtimes are, how much tickets are, or even what movie is playing.
I joined Survey Junkie in September
I joined Survey Junkie in September . First, it might not be a good choice for getting rich quickly. However, I have earned a considerable amount of cash and got almost 100,000 points in under one-and-a-half years. Taking surveys on Survey Junkie has become a habit and probably a hobby for me. Having no specific hobby, I got disqualified for almost all surveys related to video/computer games, baking, gardening, playing instruments, watching on-demand movies, art, pet care, playing sports, watching football, etc.. Such disqualifications really gave me a hard time and made me so disappointed. But I don't and won't give up on trying surveys. I would say my chance of qualification is more than 1 out of 5 (20%) as stated in Survey Junkie. I think the main point of succeeding in earning points is about having patience and persistence. Another plus point, in my opinion, I'm less likely to experience wrong credit points or missing credits compared to other survey platforms that I've been using. I feel that Survey Junkie has become much more generous than before when I started the 3+ survey challenge for a chance to get 500 points almost every month. And I think I really deserve the rewards. Even though I used to have some issues with identity verification, 5000+ points redemption and $600 tax form requirements, my problems got resolved quickly. The staff here shows great customer service. It's my pride and honor to take surveys at Survey Junkie.
It is a nice way to make quick change
It is a nice way to make quick change. I call it a "piggy bank" because that is exactly how you have to look at it. If you put in the work for about 5 hours you'll get MAYBE $5. I started this in 2019 and supposedly you get more rewards as time goes on. I haven't seen that. I am happy it is a reward system where 1 pt is 1 cent and its a $5 min to transfer directly to your bank account instead of $10. The negative of all of this is I go half way through a survey then it says I disqualify. I wouldn't be as upset about this if it was only the demographic questions that caused this. BUT going halfway through a survey, that I get notified I "qualify" in- for already a small amount, then randomly disqualifying is frustrating. A lot of the times this happens I am already in the survey for 15+ mins. Survey Junkie should do a better job of making sure the account holders (us) don't get our time wasted because all it does is unmotivated me to continue on. That is the HUGEST FLAW is the Company: not motivating the survey takers to continue. But like I said at the end of the day it is a good app if you look at it as doing something in your free time- instead of scrolling through social media and making some change for your piggy bank. (It is less degrading than picking up change off the side of the road or out of the trash- lol) In this economy though every penny adds up! I hope they fix the disqualification flaws and continue onward in a positive direction with motivation.
I thought I was the only one
I thought I was the only one. Yes, the surveys are a nice way to earn either money or gift cards. And they can vary from very easy to incredibly difficult (why I'm asked -- repeatedly -- about TV stations in Juneau, Alaska or newspapers in Appleton, Wisconsin, when I live east of Lake Michigan. makes no sense), but they are what they are. The problem with SJ is its customer service. To put it bluntly, it stinks. I can complain about something that is done by a survey taker and the blame is always my fault. I can complain, as others have, about taking the survey all the way through and not getting credit, but if I didn't write down the survey number, too bad. Here's the catch, though: to write down survey number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX takes so long that I run the risk of the survey filling up. Even then, if I provide customer service with the number, they ask me to give them the survey number. You read that right. Or they explain that they only host the surveys, that it's the fault of the survey taker. Don't they have any quality control? I can go back and give you copies of emails where I'm pulling my hair out because they talk down to me, ignore my questions, etc. To be fair, every once in awhile I get a lucid response from them, but it's on the order of 20% of the time. It's bad enough that I've given up trying to communicate with them. So the surveys are decent, for the most part, the rewards are fair, I guess. But customer service is the pits. And because the last item is so bad, they only get a middling grade.
I was going back and forth about whether I should give them 2 stars or 3 stars
I was going back and forth about whether I should give them 2 stars or 3 stars. I give 3 because my experience with them was overall positive for a while. I signed up with them around summer 2020, had no problems cashing out, and any issues that I contacted them about were usually resolved. Note that I said "for a while." Now I'm starting to have problems and getting frustrated. A couple of weeks or so ago, when I tried to cash out I was told that I was nearing $600 total in cashout so I needed to fill out a W9 tax form - which is no problem. I'll happily do it. I was told to contact Support to request a W9 form. I did so and after more than a week I haven't received a response. I was also told that I couldn't complete verification online so I had to receive a call from them to verify my identity. I provided my contact info and clicked to be placed in the call queue. At the bottom of the page, it tells you that a representative will get back to you by the end of the business day. After a week I'm still waiting. I just tried to enter the call queue again, who knows if I'll actually hear back any sooner. I'm not too optimistic. I don't want to file a complaint just yet but if this goes another week without a resolution then I'll do so. It's a shame because I used to have some good experiences and they treated me like a valued member of their site, but it's nearly impossible to get a hold of them. They shouldn't say that someone will get back to you "at end of business day" if it's not actually going to happen. Feels like a runaround.
SurveyJunkie does pay out like they say they will, but it takes a REALLY long time to build up enough points to be able to cash out
SurveyJunkie does pay out like they say they will, but it takes a REALLY long time to build up enough points to be able to cash out. I've been using it in some of my spare time for almost a month because every dollar I make helps since I haven't been able to work. I've cashed out $15 so far in that time. Most of the time I don't qualify for the survey presented to me so I make 1-3 points, which equals 1 cent a point, which most of the time I don't find out until I've answered questions for 3 minutes or so. I estimate I will be able to cash out another $5 in a week or maybe a little less at this rate. It's great if you enjoy giving out your info and have a ton of free time and don't mind not being paid mush for the info. But in my opinion, it's not worth it if you can make another way. Honestly $20 a month is not much. Just depends on how much free time you have and your willingness to get very little for the time spent. Also some of the surveys are very glitchy. SurveyJunkie keeps sending me emails offering surveys that don't move forward no matter how many times you push the same button. It just restarts the same screen, which gets incredibly frustrating. I have come to not rely on the email offers for this reason. And when I have complained to am customer service they say I need to give them the survey ID a in order to resolve it. But when I'm stuck on the same screen I'm unable to get the ID. So I end up ditching those ones hoping not to find the same ones when I scroll down and pick another, but I do keep finding the same or similar glitchy ones.

Now I will say that despite all that, they have paid out PROMPTLY if you use Paypal, EVERYTIME. Any time I've cashed out I've had my money in Paypal in under 5mins. I've been doing their surveys for a couple years now and have cashed out several hundred USD's worth.
I like survey junkie as a whole
I like survey junkie as a whole. It is an easy way to make a vfew extra bucks if you have some extra time. The problem I have with is all too often, I would vsay one out of ten times you finish a survey and when it's supposed to go back to the site page, it goes to a page not found. When this happens you of course try to backpage, refresh, anything you can think of, but of course nothing works and yor screwed. It is also ironic that this usually happens on higher point surveys. The last one happened just this morning and it was about a half hour survey I got stiffed on. I know it's not a lot of money, but it is my time and my thoughts that they wanted. I notified them when it started happening, and they did pay out the first couple. Then I don't know if they got tired of hearing from me or thought I was trying to take them for all those PENNIES, but of course they came up with excuses. In the first week I took hundreds and hundreds of surveys, so much so they told me I needed to withdraw my savings because it was getting too high, even the 2nd weeh I was a quarter of the way to the limit, then it kept happening. I think I am done with Survey Junkie, there are many others that have a much better Operations Department and IT dept. where these things don't happen and the pay is much better5 than 40 cents for a 25 minute survey, when you know the company is paying at least 20 times that for focus group information. Ifr they were a bank, they would be in jail for USUARY VIOLATIONS. Some junior congressmaqn that wants to make a name for himself should look into this. If you want an honest fair survey site , my favorite is YOUGOV. Sorry to be so long, but I could keep telling you horror stories about SK, and I was only doing it a few weeks.
I have given Survey Junkie approximately one year to determine whether or not it is worth doing
I have given Survey Junkie approximately one year to determine whether or not it is worth doing. $345 later and many, many hours of good results but more hours of bad results, here are my conclusions. (1) The quality of the surveys is inconsistent. Most recently the surveys have been uninteresting and very hard to complete. (2) As many others have stated, I have completed too many surveys only to be told that the survey did work properly, that I was disqualified after the fact or that the survey closed before I could get rewarded. (3) The surveys presented are dominated for Lucid Marketplace. This outfit gathers our information to sell to its own clients. I refuse to do their surveys for this reason. I do not like being called by telemarketers with info about me that just happens to come from a "private" survey I had just completed. That is not what I signed on for. It appears that more than half the surveys SJ presents come from LUCID, which makes it hard to get good surveys often enough. Sundays are a particularly hard day to accomplish anything on SJ. (4) While it is possible to pick up a few extra dollars, I have calculated that it works out to about $.60 per hour. Putting up with all the problems, bad surveys, rip-offs and wasted time does not seem worth it anymore. On the positive side, Customer Service has always responded to my many complaints. They have granted me some bonus points at times, but are not able to fix the numerous problems from many of their clients. They pay off quickly and professionally when I claim a reward! In the end, I see that many people are quite happy with SJ, while many have the same problems that I have experienced over the past year. If I felt things were improving I might feel that it is worth it to keep playing. I am afraid that is not the case.
There are several things that make SurveyJunkie a poor choice for earning money through surveys
There are several things that make SurveyJunkie a poor choice for earning money through surveys. Here are my reasons why:
1. Most surveys that are sponsored by this company are not legit. There has been a link between paid surveys and information/identity theft. Just because someone pays them to host their survey, does NOT mean that the survey provider is legit.
2. They pay you 1 to 2 points (equivalent to $0.01 - $0.02) when a survey provider wrongly rejects your completed survey at the end of it, even when you spent 25 minutes on it and are supposed to receive $1.50+. Which tells me that Survey Junkie does not care about your time or effort and that the survey provider now just got all the information from you for 1-2 cents.
3. Customer service is mostly unresponsive and just gives you run arounds and automated replies pretty much telling you that 1 cent is worth your time and that nothing will be done, aka your *** out of luck.
4. They have over 1,300 complaints filed through the complaintsboard.com, each one confirming my claims here.
5. You will be very lucky to get paid for 1 out of every 10 surveys taken.
I am sure that there is a lot more to state, but unfortunately I am limited to how much I can write here. With all that being said, I gave Survey Junkie a 2 star review because they actually pay you when you get lucky enough to reach the $5 limit.
My opinion - Don't use this sketchy site, use Qmee. You may get declined a lot, but support actually responds and you can cash out $0.01 if you want to. The biggest thing for me too is the fact that Qmee will pay you more than 1-2 cents (usually close to half of what the survey was worth) if you are wrongly declined.
Survey Junkie is a horrible app/service and they are just vultures preying on people's hardships. I wonder how many people do surveys that don't need the money, right?
