I have tried to redeem my points through them on the redemption page of their website, but all I'm getting is the run around. I have cashed out via Paypal before, now they won't let me. When I cashed out before, it went straight there with no issue on their part NOR Paypals! So, why are they holding up my hard-earned funds now? All because I refuse to send them an ID online? I don't care what their policy is nor how "secure" it is. There are too many data breaches out there that we hear of constantly in the news reports and I for one refuse to go along with Survey Junkie on this. Just pay me what you owe me $49.42, then I'll quietly go away and find another survey company that won't put me through all this time-consuming aggravation;
Recommendation: Be aware.
Survey Junkie refused to let me redeem my hard earned without a gov't issued ID sent to them online. In addition, they have blocked out the Paypal logo in order for me to transfer my points. I refuse to send them this very personal information. I don't care how "secure' it is. They are doing nothing but giving me the run around on this. Just pay me my points through Paypal like they did before easily and I'll quietly go away and find another survey firm that doesn't require this and won't put me through this aggravation anymore.
Thank you for your feedback, I will!
Survey Junkie is avoiding covering payments by using deny-and-delay strategies. They eagerly sopped up your data and time, and now require ID verification after you’ve already cashed out before? That is a massive red flag.
They are relying on people’s unwillingness to pursue the matter further. If it is possible, contest the payment through PayPal, submit a complaint to FTC, and go off on them on social media and review pages. They owe you $49.42, don’t allow them to get away easily. If they remain obstinate, notify others and switch to a survey company that offers payment.
