Some of the less valuable items I sent them were on sale, and things like winter coats, new Clarks boots, etc.(mostly men's merchandise), were not on sale. Someone on the Swap team stole items intended for resale. Not only that, Swap charged me $15 for shipping each package, and another $15 if the items in the return confirmation package were unacceptable...

It has been a couple years since I ordered from Swap. Thrift stores are much cheaper. Anyway, I received a credit from long-ago returned merchandise. Today I received an email regarding Summer clearance items. I decided to visit the site and use my credit. My credit is nowhere to be found. I even went so far as to choose an item, then progress to checkout. I thought my credit would be posted there. It was not. I don't remember how much the credit was, but I am accusing Swap of theft. I did not complete my order due to distrust. Swap's future emails will go directly into my Spam folder.
Desired outcome: Award me my credit.

Return Label never sent
Requested return of 9 items on May 23, 2023. The request was approved on May 24, 2023 but I have still not received a return label and the instructions clearly state that returns will not be accepted without an approved return label. I've emailed repeatedly to several email addresses and received zero response.
I'm being told that I'm not providing enough information but I'm not sure what else I could provide. I placed an order, received my items, and promptly submitted a request to return a few of the items, the return was approved but I have not received a return label. I'm asking to have the return label sent.
Desired outcome: I would like a return label sent so I can make the return and I'd like a guarantee that it will not be refused based on the period of them that has passed.
Paid for items-have not received them
Placed order on April 9, 2023. Items have been paid for. Received all items except for 4 (3 tops and 1 pair of capri's). Have been trying to get an answer from them whether I am going to get the items or if I can get my money back and have had no luck. I'm just frustrated now and want my money back and I will not be purchasing from this company ever again. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Items ordered have not shipped for over 7-weeks
Ordered 2 items on Nov. 26 2021 and Dec 25 2022 and neither packages has shipped as of 1/20/2022. Item#10608444283-16380344292 and Order id: #10608444283-16419111606No one at Swap is returning messages or phone calls. I've been ordering from Swap for about 5 years and up until about 1 1/2 years ago they were reliable. Then all sorts of issues started occurring including getting orders wrong, no delivery of orders that stated that they were delivered and the worst issue of all, not shipping items at all and with no explanation. Terrible service and company. Stay away!

I have had a terrible time with this company. I did a MAJOR clean out which included high end brands, new, like new, etc. I sent SEVERAL boxes which for the most part they rejected the items...and donated. I dont see many high end brands on the site...My last dealings with them was to have all my listed items sent back, which they did. I had contacted them about other peoples items (lower quality) being on my listings and my clothes not shown, were they on someone else's listings? Never could get it straightened out with them so had my stuff sent back. Online shopping and consignment done right should be a win win. just venting...

Trying to get a hold of someone for the following
1. No response for the following claim 2436797, sent on 10/18:
Refund missing for RMA [protected], dated 9.21.21
2. Also missing refund for RMA #[protected], dated 11.18.21
3. Just placed an order 12/28 it said "expected to arrive between Jan 5-Jan
10" It is now 1/14 and don't even show it shipped.

Damaged items
I purchased 6 items from this company. 4 of the 6 were either damaged or incorrect. I was worried about sending all 4 back at the same time in case of usps issues so I sent back 2. I only received credit for one of those items and this company simply refuses to reply to my emails and on-site complaints. One of the items I sent back was a pair of Lilly Pulitzer shorts. The site claims they have a very high standard in the items they sell that were preowned. The shorts they sent me has womans menstrual stains all in the crotch, not a little…a lot! It was disgusting. I have given up trying to get anyone to reply and their is no phone number to call or anyone else you can reach out to. Terrible experience.

consignment with them
I sent some items to be consigned on April 18th and have inquired every 30 days as to why my items have not been processed for sale yet. They said that it could take up to 90 days - it has now been 150 days and STILL they claim that they Have not processed my items for sale. I have requested the items be returned to me. They told me how to do this and it shows I have ZERO items. They also want to charge me to get my items back?

I sent a total of 3 separate boxes within about a 5-6 month time period. The first box had a few rejected items but they sent good pictures of them to see exactly what. The second box I was more careful. Still had a pretty surprising rejection rate after it was processed. The pics they sent this time were hard to make out exactly what was rejected. Just had the stuff in a pile. Before the items were processed, I had sent my 3rd box. Those items were processed about a week ago. Was shocked at the rejection rate. Again, pics of stuff in a pile. Knowing that the final box had a really expensive item, was figuring that once it sold I'd be done. The item was a men's black leather bomber jacket that was practically new. Worn maybe 3 times. It was never added to my items to be sold. It seems to have been lost or maybe stolen. I have made 2 attempts to get a straight answer about the jacket. They are not replying to my emails as they had in the past over other issues. I'm really pissed. I will never buy or sell with them in the future. I suggest you take a few pictures of the stuff you send.
SWAP did resolve my issue. They never found my missing item but credited my PayPal account with the approximate amount as if my jacket was sold on their site.
sent wrong items and will no longer communicate with me
I ordered five items from this company I only got two and neither one of them were things that I ordered I told them this and they said I would have to wait for me to return things before I could get my money back and now they won't even talk to me at all anymore just cut off all contact I've sent in various emails and no word back from them I've returned items before with no problem and they didn't even have to receive the items back before I got a refund now they completely screwed up my order they want the items back and they will not give me a refund they won't even talk to me any more. I want my money and I will never use this company again.
Every complaint that has been resolved on this complaint site says that Swapp tried to contact the individual making the complaint and failed to do so know what about the customers that are trying to contact swap and they can't reach them because swap doesn't know a thing about good customer service. Hey Swap.com reply to my emails and refund my money!
consignment sale clothing
I sent in some truly nice clothing for consignment six months ago. They have no record of receiving them even though they send you the mailing label so sounds fishy. Should have donated the stuff. I was drawn into trying this in hopes of making the best of outgrown clothes for kids. Such a shame. This kind of service is truly needed. I wonder just how many boxes and bags of clothes they have accepted with not admitting it. They just post this notice about it taking a long time to process so be patient. Ok. How long is patient. Six months eight months?
they steal your items and block you from getting them back
I sent items to sell to them in july... They just processed my box on november 10, 2017. All of my items were in great condition... Some even new with tags. All other items were professionally laundered no stains and nothing old. I receive an email saying they rejected mostly all of my box and that if I don't make a decision within 14 days that they will still take the rejected items as a donation, sell it on their site and donate the money to charity...[censor]. I don't see one charity that they have helped and what customers can they possibly be selling these rejected items to? If it'd not good enough for me to make money with how is it good enough for them to still sell and donate? Lies and thieves. To add insult to injury when I tried to pay the 5.99 to have all items shipped back to me their system kept having a processing error... Again [censor]. I took a screenshot to prove what was happening and immediately placed a test order under an alias name and guess what? I bet that system didn't hesitate to take my payment then. These people are scam artist and thieves. Do not trust them and do not shop or sell with them. I have taken all measures to document and have proof to assist me in court should I have to sue them for theft if they don't decide to return my things. This is america and if a company who claims to operate from finland can set up shop here and steal from us then they need to be shut down. The government allows these business practices as long as taxes are paid unless we all rage against the machine... I am not a brainwashed robot who just lays down to get crapped on. I can’t believe you even received a response from this company, the only reply I have received from them is “it will take us up to 8 days to reply to your request” trust me 8 days has come and gone, over and over and over with 0 reply.

What I see is very frustrating.
Not that long ago they used to be great and fair, honest and nice. But everything has changed. I don't know what was their reason, but to me, there're no excuses for this.
Their customer service gets worse and worse. Representatives become ruder and ruder, most of the times they give your their attitude and hung up on you if they lose patience. I have never worked with customers, but I don't think it's professional. And the strangest thing is that it's not monitored by anyone, at least it seems so. There's no one to improve, there's no one to correct. Or maybe they just don't care. It explains a lot...

My order finally arrived and 2 out of 4 items I'm keeping. I was sent shipping label to put on the box, but FedEx says the label is incomplete, therefore they don't know where it is and swap has no record of sending the label even though I still have the email. FedEx says swap will receive the box or reject it, not sure really. Even if they receive it, I not too trusting if I will get credited for it. I sent 3 emails with no response yet.

When you place an order, you are supposed to get a tracking number e-mailed, but all you get is a PayPal confirmation and a order number that can't give any info!
There is no mention of when merchandise is to ship or arrive. Communication is poor on swap.com. Looks shady that nothing can be traced. No info can be found, so contacting PayPal is the best way out of this sham.
never send clothing to sell
I sent a couple of boxes of clothes to Swap.com. They approved most and sold many for me. I sent the third and fourth boxes and received word that I'm suspended from sending for three months. No reason was given. They just say, 'Refer to guidelines.' I followed their guidelines - the same ones I followed the first two times. They have about $160-worth (fair market value) of my clothes. Some are new with tags. All are name brand, clean and in great condition. It seems like Swap gains a seller's confidence then hits the seller with their scam. They may have suspended me for three months but I've suspended them indefinitely. That goes for being a buyer, too.

I have been sending boxes of clothes to swap.com to sell and when it comes time for a payout, the "handling fee" (which is an arbitrary amount they set for each box received) is calculated, it just happens to equal the exact amount that I would have been paid. I have not made any money selling on this site and in fact, have lost a great deal considering I could have sold them on a site such as Poshmark and made money.
