5-Star Approval: Sykes Enterprises is the Real Deal for Tricky Tasks
I gotta say, Sykes Enterprises is the real deal. I'm not one to rely on fancy-schmancy professionals to get things done - I'm more of a DIY kinda person. But when I hit a wall and can't figure something out, I turn to my trusty friend, Professor Google. And more often than not, Sykes Enterprises is there to help me out.
I've lost count of how many times I've reached out to them for assistance with tricky tasks. And let me tell you, they've come through for me almost every single time. Even when they don't have the part I need, they'll go above and beyond to help me locate it. And get this - sometimes they don't even charge me for their services! That's some real kindness right there.
All in all, I give Sykes Enterprises a big ol' 5-star approval. They're the best of the best, and I'll keep turning to them whenever I need a helping hand.
Not Worth Your Time or Money: A Review of Sykes Enterprises
at Sykes Enterprises. It seems like a waste of time and money. The training is not very helpful and doesn't prepare you for the job. The management is also not very helpful and doesn't seem to care about their employees. They are always changing the rules and policies without any notice. It's hard to keep up with all the changes. The pay is also not very good. It's minimum wage and there are no benefits. Overall, I would not recommend working at Sykes Enterprises. There are better companies out there that treat their employees better and pay them more.
Sykes Enterprises: A Disorganized Waste of Time for Job Seekers
This company, Sykes Enterprises, is not worth your time unless you have plenty of it to waste and enjoy dealing with disorganized individuals.
Firstly, the assessment process takes over an hour to complete. Secondly, it took me over a month to receive the results of my assessment, despite my repeated follow-ups. Once I gained access to the job portal, I found that the system was set up in a way that could easily lead to confusion. Jobs are posted with their responsibilities and shifts, which are crucial to pay attention to. If you decline a job, the system will most likely tempt you with another post. I was advised to check the site every day.
The pay is minimum, at around $9.75 per hour, and the expected weekly hours are not posted. My latest experience with Sykes was a complete debacle. I found a job that I liked because of the shifts, so I chose an interview time, prepared the screenshots, logged into the job portal, sent the screenshots, and then logged in for the conference call.
The conference call had 22 people on the line, plus the presenter, who spoke as if addressing kindergartners. The presenter went through a series of screens, asking if we could commit to the days and times of the training. When everyone had answered yes or no, the next screen appeared. The training days were given in the job portal, and I knew I could commit to them. However, the days and times on the screen were different from the ones on the original post.
If I decide to apply for a job and commit my time, energy, and resources to prepare for an interview, I expect the shift that I applied for, based on my schedule, to be the same during the interview. But it was not. From my experience, it seems that Sykes does not care if they waste applicants' time.
I strongly advise staying far away from this company. If you need to contact customer service, be prepared for them to cut you off before you've finished speaking. It's also difficult to get a live person on the phone. When I asked a question on the support page, the response I received was gibberish, possibly because the person didn't read it, read it too quickly, or couldn't read at all.
My Positive Experience Working with SYKES-Home: A Legitimate Work-From-Home Opportunity
I've been working with SYKES-Home for two years now, and I feel like it's my duty to share my experience with others who are looking for a legitimate work-from-home opportunity. Just like any other company, SYKES-Home has requirements and an interview process. However, if you're willing to put in the effort and focus during training, you'll learn a lot. The HR team and team leaders are always there to assist you, and they have a great support system in place.
Currently, I'm on leave of absence due to my health condition, but I'm eager to get back to work. Throughout my life, I've worked in retail, but I never received the support I needed to grow. However, SYKES-Home is different. They truly care about their employees and prioritize their well-being. Their mission, vision, and values are centered around putting people first. If you need support from higher management, they'll listen and do their best to help you.
I've had the opportunity to meet some really nice people while working with SYKES-Home. If you have all the requirements, it's definitely worth investing in this opportunity. The training is paid, and you'll have a stable income. Plus, you get to work in your pajamas and take breaks whenever you need to. Commuting is just a few steps away from your bed, which is a huge plus.
Of course, there are some bad days, but that's true of any job. If you're willing to work hard and understand your role, you'll do well at SYKES-Home. It's not a job where you can just sit around and do nothing, but if you love talking to customers and helping them out, then this is the perfect job for you.
I want to take this opportunity to thank SYKES-Home for looking after me and providing me with this opportunity. I'm not being paid to write this review, but I felt compelled to share my positive experience with others. I've heard some negative reviews about SYKES-Home, but I think those people were expecting an easy job. This job requires effort and focus, but it's definitely worth it. I wish you all the best, and I hope to see you in production when I get back to work.
Unfair Hiring Process: My Disappointing Experience with Sykes Enterprises
So, I recently had an experience with Sykes Enterprises and I have to say, I was not impressed. I started by going to Career Builder and Right Skill to complete a certificate program in customer service training for CSR programs at home. I passed the certificate and was excited when the company showed interest in hiring me to work from home. Right Skill told me that I didn't need experience with this, but I had six years of customer service training at the company, just not at home.
Sykes is the only at-home company that uses Right Skill and Career Builder to look for applicants to work at home. I had an online interview through Adobe Connect and passed two other tests that would allow me to have a second interview by phone. During the interview, they asked all the simple related customer service questions and I believe I did my best to answer every one of those questions correctly. However, the one question that they asked me was if I had at-home experience with customer service. I said no, but other applicants said no as well, except for one who said yes because she probably worked for the same company once before.
To summarize my problem, why do they hire people who already have at-home experience when most at-home experience positions are fake and false companies trying to get your money? How are we going to get an at-home job or what we call a remote job if we don't have the opportunity to work for anybody? They simply denied my account because I had no home experience when they hired someone that did. So why did I go through the expense of completing an online certificate program for customer service that tells me they will hire even if you don't have home experience?
When I tried to inform them of my displeasure with their interviewing process, they didn't return my phone call or email regarding my complaint. I was very upset about being disqualified even though the test that I took received a 92% rating. There was no reason for me to be disqualified for this position. I have more experience than a person who has been in an at-home job position, and this person that got qualified probably has less than 6 months experience.
Career Builder actually told me they cannot control another company's interviewing process or who they choose as an applicant, but I told them it is a waste of time for me to take this CSR test and be told that they will hire me even if I'm inexperienced. It is a waste of time to go through all their testing to get denied, and Career Builder does not take the responsibility to kick them out as a client for Career Builder. Also, Career Builder is accepting fake work-at-home businesses that you see advertised saying it's been on Fox News and all these damn cable channels.
Overall, my experience with Sykes Enterprises was disappointing. I feel like they didn't give me a fair chance to prove myself, and their hiring process seems flawed. I hope they can improve their process in the future to give everyone an equal opportunity to work from home.
