I purchased TaxAudit services through Intuit Turbotax two years in a row, and encountered both state and federal issues where I needed to use their services. In both state and federal cases, the TaxAudit team has represented me and effectively eliminated audit issues for each situation. Highly recommend this service for "peace of mind"!

We received a letter from IRS stating that we owed $8100. That was a shocker ! We use *** and they use TaxAudit. Our case was handled professionally, very courteously and communication was just a click or call away if we had a question. Outcome was very pleasing, as we received a REFUND instead of paying more ! Great people. great job.

I would greatly recommend using Tax Audit. Being audited by *** is a very unpleasant experience, but working with *** of Tax Audit helped put a lot of frustrations at ease. Her professionalism, knowledge, hard work and responsive greatly aided in a very favorable outcome for me. I could not be more pleased and am very grateful for all *** has done.

I have been a member since 2001 and have been assisted by TaxAudit (it was called Tax Resources before) professionals three times already to my great satisfaction with no more additional taxes like IRS was claiming. If I were doing this myself, I probably would've ended up paying more to IRS even though I was right. That's also why I don't do my own root canal treatment - use the specifically educated and trained professionals for important stuff :)

The best decision I made in 2017 was to include Tax Audit with my Turbo Tax return. Maryam M. unburdened me big time in dealing with a huge and complex and potentially very expensive tax problem. Maryam was so pleasant, so positive and fought so hard for me beyond an initial unfavorable decision by the IRS that would have cost me $50K. Maryam persevered until the Treasury relented and I owed $0. I know when Maryam said she cared she couldn't have been more sincere. I will be forever grateful.

I have used Tax Audit in dealing with two, separate audits from the IRS and was thoroughly satisfied in both cases. Jason Galloway was the Tax Audit professional who handled my cases and he was magnificent. He patiently and courteously listened to my challenges, thoughtfully honed in on the root causes, immediately outlined various options and courses of action and thoroughly remained engaged throughout the entire process. In the end, he was able to reduce the original IRS demand by several thousand dollars. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

I have always purchased audit protection through TurboTax since I began using it. After getting hit with a recent audit, WOW - was I every happy I had done so! The tax attorney assigned to my case was fantastic. He was pro-active, communicative, highly knowledgeable, and was able to quickly identify the issue that tripped the audit (my return and taxes paid were correct, I just needed to include one separate form that wasn't present). I was SO happy the day I got the letter from the IRS saying that instead of owing $12,000, I owed $0.00! The service was fast, excellent, courteous...I can't say enough good things.

Receiving the dreaded IRS audit letter is terrifying, but TaxAudit took up my case immediately and Mr. Gerard C. was assigned to the case. He dealt with the IRS for me, resolved all their questions, and I ended up owing absolutely nothing, even after they spent almost 8 months going over everything in my return. Not only that, but he was great to work with, very patient in explaining everything and was able to make a scary event into a learning one. They are absolute professionals - if you are every in need of their services, they are worth every penny, but I would absolutely recommend buying the audit defense package they offer as 'insurance'. It was worth every penny.

Assistance at Tax Audit helped me get my tax penalty of $12,000 reduced to $1,500. The team disputed three areas on my 2018 Tax Return. The professionals at Tax Audit were able to help me show that I prepared 2 of the disputed areas correctly and no tax was due. I did make a mistake in one area and the team helped me prepare the correct forms and get them to the IRS so that I could pay the correct tax amount. They made my life easy as I would not have been able to fix this issue myself. And there was no additional cost for this service to help me get the $12,000 due reduced to $1,500. I will be using their services again this year knowing that Tax Audit is there to help me if I make another innocent mistake.

I sign up for TaxAudit every year as it gives me a piece of mind. And so glad I do, because this year was the second time I needed to use the service. My case manager was very knowledgeable and proactive, reaching out frequently to the *** and explaining to me where things stood, the procedures, and what the *** notifications actually meant. My case manager, over a period of 7 months, would send emails plus would follow up with a call to ensure I understood the next steps. Calmed my nerves. It was a relief to know that TaxAudit was liaising proactively with the *** on my behalf and a bigger relief to learn that my $25K tax owed notification was reduced to $363. If left to me to handle the tax-owed notification on my own, I would have given up from frustration and would have been stuck owing the $25,000! Thank You TaxAudit!

BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT! I received an IRS Audit Notice in Sept 2019 with an estimated tax bill for my 2017 tax return, the year my wife of 32 yrs had passed away. The IRS claimed I owed more than $10K in back taxes and interest, plus an additional "substantial tax underestimation penalty" of nearly $2K. Needless to say I was mortified and scared! I had filed the 2017 taxes with TurboTax utilizing their guided questionnaire features, and though I believed I had done everything properly, I'd made some type of error with how her IRA monies that transferred to me were handled within the software. Keith Y at TaxAudit was so completely sympathetic and helpful! He guided me through the process, allaying my fears, and handled all the direct contact with the IRS. I was hoping the outcome would simply be the IRS would wave the $2K in penalties, and anticipated I would still owe the taxes and interest. On the 14th of this month Keith called to inform me he had received the final notice from the IRS... result of his work on my behalf... I owed $0.00! I am eternally grateful to him and if I ever needed assistance with an audit (hopefully never again!), Keith would be my GO-TO GUY! I will never be without TaxAudit protection again! It is pennies on the dollar for my peace of mind! THANK YOU TAXAUDIT, and THANK YOU KEITH!

DO NOT USE . I have every screen shot from their representative . It went well until the last person I interacted with. Request information and was faxed. I had the accountant at my husbands place of employment send all tax papers and information needed to the tax audit representative with a confirmation fax sheet. She then called saying she needed same papers. I told her I sent 19 pages including fax cover sheet. She said she didnt get I said you need to check again. She checked and said she got some not the one she was looking for. Again I repeated the statement of the 19 papers. She said there is no need to get upset I am trying to help you. Thats when I decided all contact through portal with messages so I could screen shot every conversation. Because I read in contract any unprofessional or vulgar language they wont provide services.I was never either. I feel like she was trying to bate me so they could do just that. She said I will check and call you back. No return call. I did call leave message. She responded in the portal. Her last message was in regards to my husbands employer saying she does not provide them service. Which was a joke she was never ask to they are a Multi Million dollar company. She also told me she had sent paper work to the state of Illinois it would be 3-4 months for their decision. I received letter today saying since we never contacted the state from the letter in March we now owe the money plus interest. This woman flat out lied to me. Referring to the upper portion in regards to husbands employer accountant put in wrong code she notified the employes. I gave accountant the tax audit representative phone number so she could let tax audit know what happened. The accountant left 2 detailed messages. Tax audit representative refused to call her back. I asked tax audit representative to call her gave her permission she refused to call her back. This is a scam. They did not help me in no way. After giving them all my information talking to I think was 3-4 people and skyped with one no results. Now I have to start from the beginning myself. They tell you in the beginning not to contact the state to prevent confusion. Ding Ding Ding that should have been a red flag. I have seen the reviews after the fact when I thought something was wrong. This business needs shut down for taking peoples money and not providing the services. If there is any questions to this statement being true I have a messages screen shot and can provide them to anyone who wishes to see them and the letter from the state saying they had not been contacted. SCAM ALERT
