Poor service denial of warranty
October 20,2023 Car needed a “charged air cooler” it was listed under the emission warranty but was denied warranty on the part. Service manager said no remaining warranty on the car. Paid for service work and part so we could continue our trip home. Team Chevrolet in Las Vegas tried fixing the car 1500 km later car broke down again took the car to a second dealer (GMC) and they covered the car under the warranty left on the car (emission warranty) that Team Chev indicated was expired and didn’t exist. The diesel particulate filter was replaced at the second dealership. Service manager indicated the parts were covered under the emission warranty still good to 2026. Checked into parts with a GM spokesman, that Team Chev put on car and all parts would have been covered by the warranty that was on the car.
Claimed loss: $1600
Desired outcome: Refund
This car dealership made a purchase agreement over the phone with me on a new truck
This car dealership made a purchase agreement over the phone with me on a new truck. I flew out to Las Vegas from California and they sold the truck out from under me. Now I'm out $2000 on flight and hotel and they don't have the truck that we had a purchase agreement on.

I bought a car on April 20, a 2016 *** from a sales guy named Michael. When it came to financing, I worked with Eric. The payment terms were $17,000 upfront and $20,000 on a loan. Eric was rude to me because the bank took a while to finalize the loan. Now, they won't give me the green slip to register the car. If I don't register it, the DMV will penalize me.

My car has been at Team Chevrolet for 7 weeks
My car has been at Team Chevrolet for 7 weeks. I have a car shield and they covered repairs for my starter and oil pan. I paid $580 for labor. I picked up the car and drove 4 miles, but then it stopped. I had to tow it back to Chevy and it's been there ever since. The inspector from *** came and they are willing to pay for 9 hours of labor. Chevy says that's not enough and they need 20 hours. *** says NO and closes my claim completely. Now I'm waiting for Chevy to answer the phone. I STILL DON'T HAVE A CAR.
2nd complaint
2nd complaint. I'm here to talk about my experience with Team Chevrolet. So, I recently bought a Chevy Tahoe from them on April 8th. Now, the issue I have is with the dealership's plan to replace an auto hide step for my vehicle. They gave me a call after my first complaint and mentioned that they could install a step that doesn't hide away temporarily. Apparently, they couldn't reach the original step's maker. But here's the thing, I don't want a step that doesn't hide away. I specifically want the original step that came with the car. If they can't get in touch with the manufacturer, why not just put on a hide step from a different brand? It seems like this company struggles to understand how to fix a problem properly.
I went to Team Chevrolet in Las Vegas, Nevada for transmission work on my Spark, which was under recall
I went to Team Chevrolet in Las Vegas, Nevada for transmission work on my Spark, which was under recall. They assured me that I wouldn't have to pay for any labor on the transmission, and maybe just a little for some other things. However, today I received an invoice for $2,700, and they even charged me for transmission labor. When I asked about it, they said the labor cost was "dramatically reduced," but didn't provide any further explanation or resolution. To make matters worse, they still have my car. I feel like this dealership is trying to take advantage of me with unnecessary repairs and dishonesty.

Ac wasnt working I found the leak at the condenser high pressure valve brought it into the dealer showed it to Augustine my advisor also with pictures clearly showing leak and dated. They stated the condenser was leaking as well and to replace seals and connector at the joint to condenser. Total of 1690$ Which I paid and 3 weeks later it is leaking at the same place joint high pressure valve which makes me believe the condenser was never the problem. I paid all this money and my ac is not as cold as it should be and the problem was never fixed. I left a negative review on google of my experience and now I am scared of retaliation to my car by the techs or advisor. I would like them to return the money which I paid to have this fixed and the problem is still there. My next step will be to sue in civil court for the 1690$ and for damages and new repair costs if the 1690 is not refunded.
I brung my car to the dealership to check my check engine light
I brung my car to the dealership to check my check engine light. They told me I gotta change the auxiliary battery in the trunk afore they can fix the light. They said it'll cost me $150 to swap it out. Since I had to renew my registration by yesterday, the 4th of May, I told the technician to go ahead and do it. Four hours later, I got a text and an invoice for $261.81, sayin' my car was ready. I got my car and paid the bill, but I was pretty mad about it. But I had to renew, so I just left. When I got to the smog station, they rejected it 'cause the system wasn't calibrated yet. I called the dealership and they told me I gotta drive 50/100 miles to calibrate it. I couldn't renew my registration 'cause it was too late to get it retested last night. I'm askin' for the difference between the quote and the actual price 'cause they only replaced the battery and the labor cost seems way too high. It don't take four hours to swap a battery.
July 28th, I took my car to Team Chevrolet because the gas pedal got stuck at full throttle
July 28th, I took my car to Team Chevrolet because the gas pedal got stuck at full throttle. They said they couldn't find anything wrong and it must have been a fluke. On August 2nd, I took my car back because it happened again, almost causing an accident. They told me it was the throttle body. Then they said it was the battery and the throttle body was fine. I've been told that if they can't replicate the problem, they can't fix it. But one of the times I took it in, they did find problems on August 5th. I texted David, my service advisor, and told him it happened again on August 6th. I didn't hear anything else for 5 days. On September 1st, I took my car in because it was making a noise from the brakes and to solve the issue with the gas pedal. I rented a car, costing me $369.71 for the last 6 days. On September 3rd, I got a call from Alex, my new service advisor, telling me it's the transmission and it's meant to do that. WHAT? I refused to take the car until they fix it. Now it's September 7th, and I'm still waiting for a callback.
Finance Manager ran my credit without my approval, even though I specifically told him not to
Finance Manager ran my credit without my approval, even though I specifically told him not to. I already had a pre-approval letter from ***. I got the pre-approved loan/letter from *** for buying a new car while going through the process of purchasing it from Ed Bozarth at ***. I explained to the salesman that I already had a pre-approved loan. After all the back and forth, I met with the Finance Manager, J Barry, and gave him the document number for my loan letter. I explicitly told him not to run my credit because I already had a loan. But then, at 6:00 pm on Monday, March 9, I got an alert from *** saying that there was a new inquiry on my account. When I checked the details of this inquiry, I found out that the Finance Manager had completed it the night before at the dealership mentioned above. There was absolutely no reason for them to check my credit since I already had a pre-approved loan. This was totally illegal. I didn't have to fill out any application or sign any document giving the Finance Manager permission to run a credit check.
On 5 Dec 2022, I took my 2021 Silverado to Team Chevrolet for warranty repair of a drivetrain noise
On 5 Dec 2022, I took my 2021 Silverado to Team Chevrolet for warranty repair of a drivetrain noise. My service manager, ***, called me later that day to say the problem was a faulty part in the transmission. *** then said my truck would have to stay at the service *** for a minimum of 3 weeks before a tech was able to start any repairs and that the repair could also take several more weeks to complete after that. I asked for a loaner vehicle until my truck was done and *** said that he would try to get me one. After not hearing back from ***, I went to Team Chevrolet's service *** on 7 Dec 2022 to discuss a loaner vehicle. *** was not available, so I spoke with another service manager, ***. Will immediately refused a loaner vehicle. I explained to him that I use my truck for contracting work and that waiting 3+ weeks to get my truck back from service was going to cost me work and money. He still refused. I suggested a rental car voucher and he refused. I even asked for an old trade-in vehicle as a loaner, or a demo vehicle and he refused. I asked if my truck could be transfered to another Chevrolet dealership to have the warranty work done there with a less turnaround time and he refused. I asked if my truck can be sent to a local repair shop who is certified by Chevrolet and he refused. I asked if I could take my truck and bring it back when it was my turn for repairs, and again, he refused. I asked to speak with the *** Manager and was sent to ***. I explained the situation and asked him for the same options, and he also refused all of them. *** said that it's policy for customers to wait for warranty repair work no matter how long that repair will take, and to wait without compensation. Team Chevrolet's service *** lacks customer service and resources to conduct business in a timely, professional, manner. Their policy leaves customers without a vehicle for months at a time, with no compensation or cooperation.
