The Classy Home Bad part took over 7 weeks to replace

I ordered Aug 6, received the table and chairs around August 25 when one of the table pedestals plus one chair seat were both dysfunctional. So I begin the long process to send pictures and get replacements. The chair seat was replaced promptly. The table pedestal took over 7 weeks to receive which I find unacceptable.
Now the delivery company says I refused the order. I replied that the trucking company delivered and the problem is finally solved so the trucking company must have confused their notes concerning deliveries. Again I receive another email from Classy Home asking why I refused delivery as that is what the trucking company says. I guess they didn’t read my last msg to them. So it took way too long to finally get a replacement and have an upside down table in my dining area.

The Classy Home The Classy Home Review: Disappointing Service and Communication

When it comes to furniture purchases online, it's important to find a reliable vendor who can deliver the quality and service you deserve. I recently had an experience with The Classy Home and unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations.

I initially placed an order for furniture on April 28th and was given a shipping date for June. Not ideal, but I accepted it as I understood that the current pandemic could cause delays. However, when I received notice of a further delay on June 5th, I was disappointed that they hadn't been more proactive in keeping me informed.

After numerous inquiries, I was finally given a new shipping date of June 18th. However, as of June 21st, I still hadn't heard back from them and the furniture had yet to ship. It was frustrating to not receive any updates, especially when I was dealing with other vendors who were able to keep me informed on any delays or changes to the timeline.

To add insult to injury, it turned out that the furniture was in stock when I initially ordered it, but since then it had gone out of stock. This was disheartening, as I would have been willing to spend more money for an earlier delivery date if I had known that the item would go out of stock.

Overall, my experience with The Classy Home was quite disappointing. While understanding that the current pandemic presents challenges, the lack of communication and transparency was disrespectful to the customer. I hope that they take steps to improve their communication in the future so that other customers don't have to go through the same frustration.

The Classy Home The Classy Home: Great Prices, Good Quality, Lengthy Wait Times

The Classy Home, a furniture retailer based online at theclassyhome.com, offers great prices and good quality products, but be aware of lengthy wait times. I ordered a product from this website in April 2021 and did not receive it until July 2021, after several follow-up phone calls. However, it was worth the wait for the cheap price and fully assembled product. Shipping costs around $75.00 and products arrive fully assembled, which can be a plus.

While the prices are reasonable and the quality of the products good, the downside of The Classy Home lies in the extreme wait times. If you want your product quickly, this site is not for you. But if you are willing to wait for a few months (like me), then it can be a great bargain.

I did attempt to cancel my order in June but was warned that I would be charged a $79.00 restocking fee because my item was already on its way to the warehouse. I used The Classy Home's own email statement as a rebuttal, which seemed to work, and my product arrived a week later. However, be prepared to hear numerous reasons for delivery delays. Checking their BBB reviews beforehand can be helpful in clearing up any doubts or concerns you may have prior to purchasing.

Overall, while The Classy Home is not perfect, it is a solid option for those who are willing to wait for their furniture to arrive. The prices are great, and the quality of the product is worth the wait. Just be patient and prepared for the possible delay.

The Classy Home Disappointing Experience with The Classy Home: Incorrectly Shipped Nightstands

I had high hopes for The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) when I ordered two champagne colored nightstands to match my bed and headboard. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. I placed my order in October, but it wasn't processed until late November, and the nightstands weren't shipped until December. Then, after waiting for two long months, I was disappointed to find that the nightstands I received were actually SILVER/METALLIC, completely different from what I had ordered! I contacted the company immediately and sent pictures to show the issue, but they tried to argue that it was just a lighting problem. I was frustrated and upset, as the color of the nightstands was a crucial point for me. It was disappointing that they were so unhelpful and unaccommodating, even after I expressed my complete dissatisfaction.

It's worth noting that shipping the nightstands back to New York, where the company is based, would be difficult and expensive for me, so I was left with two unusable nightstands. I'm quite upset with my experience, especially since the company's name suggests elegance and quality. I was hoping for good customer service, a simple transaction, and quality products, but instead I received terrible service and products that were completely different from what I had ordered. The Classy Home Terrible Experience with The Classy Home and AM Trucking - Avoid at All Costs!

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with The Classy Home, an online furniture retailer. After placing an order for three items, I was disappointed to learn that two of them were on back-order. To make matters worse, the ship date for these items kept getting pushed further and further back. When I called to inquire about the delay, I was informed that the items could not be shipped separately and that I would have to wait over a month for all three items to be shipped together.

Unsatisfied with this response, I requested that the back-ordered items be cancelled and the in-stock item be shipped immediately. However, even this item was delayed by a week due to manufacturer problems. At this point, I decided to cancel my entire order and buy from a local retailer instead.

To my dismay, it took The Classy Home six days to process my order for the only item that was supposed to be in stock. Though it did eventually ship, it took another two days for the delivery company, AM Trucking, to pick it up. When I reached out to express my disappointment, I received no response.

Overall, I found The Classy Home's customer service to be severely lacking. Despite spending over $1000 on my order, I have been left in the dark regarding the status of my items. To make matters worse, it has now been over a month since my initial order and I still have not received anything.

In my opinion, The Classy Home and AM Trucking are both garbage companies with no regard for their customers. Despite multiple weak apologies, no solutions have been offered to rectify the situation. I would advise anyone considering making a purchase from this retailer to look elsewhere for better customer service and faster delivery times.

The Classy Home Unprofessional Delivery Experience with The Classy Home: An Honest Review

My recent experience with The Classy Home left me feeling completely frustrated and disappointed with the level of professionalism and service provided. As an avid purchaser of furniture and having dealt with well-known companies such as Raymour & Flannigan and the Dump previously, I thought my experience with The Classy Home would be no different.

However, my opinion quickly changed when I received a text message at 9:20 AM stating that the delivery was on its way and would arrive within 45 minutes or sooner. To add to the confusion, my father was also planning to arrive at 10:00 AM, an hour before the earliest delivery time scheduled for 10:45 AM.

When I spoke with the driver, I was met with complete rudeness and disregard for my concerns regarding the early arrival time. He even dared to threaten me by saying that he had other deliveries to attend to and that if nobody was there to accept the furniture, he would leave it unattended. As a parent, I was particularly concerned as my teenage daughter was home alone at the time, but the driver refused to listen.

Despite my best efforts to explain the situation to the driver, he completely disregarded my request not to leave the furniture with my daughter, who is a minor. It was even more unbelievable when they had her sign for the delivery.

The furniture arrived with all the covers still on and even the legs of the couch were not put together, leaving my neighbor to help me assemble it. Overall, this experience was unacceptable and I will definitely not be using their services again in the future.

The Classy Home Disappointing "White Glove" Service from The Classy Home: A Review

My experience with purchasing a dining table from The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) was overall disappointing. Although their estimated delivery time was accurate, it took about a month to receive our order. Upon delivery, we encountered a frustrating issue with their delivery service, AM Transportation. We had paid $274 for what we believed was "white glove service" which included delivery and assembly in the room of our choice. However, when the delivery workers arrived, they initially refused to bring the furniture into the room, leaving it at the curbside instead. After insisting that we had paid for more, they begrudgingly carried the furniture into our living room but refused to assemble it. Despite being assured during our initial phone call with The Classy Home that assembly was included in the "Room of Choice" option, we were informed by a salesperson that we had been either misinformed or misunderstood.

This was frustrating and disappointing, as the additional $125 we paid for service we did not receive was a significant expense for our budget. Although there was no resolution to our issue, we did appreciate that we were able to see the quality of their furniture and service prior to purchasing additional pieces such as a buffet table, entryway tree, and side tables.

Overall, our experience with The Classy Home was a lesson in the importance of investing in quality products and services. While we were disappointed with the additional cost and lack of follow through on our delivery and assembly, we will continue to research furniture options and consider The Classy Home in the future with a better understanding of what to expect from their service.

The Classy Home Disappointing Experience with The Classy Home: Delayed, Miscolored, and Poor Customer Service

The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) is an online furniture store that left one customer disappointed after purchasing a bedroom and dining room set. After waiting two weeks for the items to arrive, the customer was dismayed to find that not only were they late, but also the wrong color. Despite the description clearly stating "2 Acme Furniture Versailles Gray Arm Chairs," the chairs received were brown. The bedroom set was also advertised as gray but was actually beige. The furniture didn't match with the customer's carefully painted gray and silver rag roll walls, which caused great frustration. Furthermore, the furniture appeared to have come from two different lots.

The customer service experience was just as disappointing. It took hours to get a hold of someone and once they did, the person gave a scripted response that the store wasn't responsible for the distortion of color due to computer resolution or lighting. This was not the issue, the customer purchased the items based on the description provided. After sending photos of the incorrect color items to the store, they requested photos of the boxes as well. This was seen as a hassle and the store policy of a 25% restocking fee plus the cost of round trip shipping was seen as being held hostage to the sale.

One possible solution proposed by the customer was to exchange the incorrectly colored items for an antique silver set. However, this was met with no further discussion. The customer points out that making things difficult for customers is more expensive in bad ratings and reviews in the long run. In addition, the customer points out the clear evidence of items being from different lots with miscolored wood.

In conclusion, The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) left one customer dissatisfied with their online purchase. The delay in delivery, incorrect color of items, and unhelpful customer service, coupled with a strict store policy that makes customers pay to return incorrectly described items exasperated the customer.

The Classy Home The Classy Home Review: Terrible Customer Service and Damaged Furniture

As a customer who has dealt with various retail companies before, I am extremely disappointed in the way The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) has handled our recent furniture purchase. Despite being promised that our 11-year-old daughter's bedroom set would ship on 12/3/18, it was delayed multiple times and didn't arrive until 12/24/18 - already frustratingly close to Christmas day. To make matters worse, when we finally received the set, two out of the four pieces were damaged, with the five drawer dresser being in such bad shape that two out of the five drawers couldn't even be opened or used.

After dealing with several weeks of no response from the company, we finally heard back from them only to be told that replacement slides would be sent to us by the manufacturer, after which we would have to call the company back in order to schedule a repair. However, when we called back to follow up on the status of these slides, we discovered that they not only hadn't arrived yet, but it had been nearly three months since we first made our original purchase.

To add insult to injury, we've been dealing with customer service representatives who appear to have no empathy or concern for our situation, and have been indifferent and sometimes even confrontational in their interactions with us. It goes without saying that this level of customer service is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a young child's furniture needs. Given the countless issues we've faced, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone - in fact, I would urge you to steer clear of them entirely. It would be far better to spend more money working with a company that cares about its customers and goes above and beyond to ensure that their needs are met.

The Classy Home The Classy Home Review: Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Customer Service

My experience with The Classy Home was incredibly disappointing, to say the least. I ordered furniture from their website, spending a total of $1168, and was informed via email that it would be shipped out on 10/31. However, circumstances changed and I needed to cancel my order. I contacted the company to do so, but was met with extreme rudeness from their customer service representatives who seemed to find the situation amusing. Despite canceling well before the scheduled ship date, I was only refunded $451 - leaving $717 unaccounted for.

When I called to inquire about the discrepancy, I was shocked to learn that they had charged me for shipping fees that far exceeded their advertised rate. On their website, they state that they charge $149 for shipping, but I was told that this actually cost them $270 - leading to a charge of $540 for shipping on my canceled order. Additionally, I was charged a $75 fee that was never mentioned in their return policy, as well as restocking fees for the remaining total. This outrageous amount was never clarified to me and I was left wondering if they were planning to keep my money without justification.

Despite emailing the manager, Molly, I never received a response. Instead, another customer service representative replied to my email, stating that Molly told them what to say to customers and that they were responding on her behalf. I have to question whether this Molly even exists or if the whole thing is simply a scam. I am now left wondering how I can recover a substantial amount of my money.

It was disheartening to read other customer reviews and see that I was not alone in my experience. It seems that many others have had similar issues, losing a significant amount of money due to the company's policies. This kind of exploitation and stealing from customers cannot be allowed and needs to be stopped. I urge anyone considering ordering from The Classy Home to look elsewhere for their furniture needs.

The Classy Home Disappointing Product Quality and Frustrating Customer Service Experience from The Classy Home

My experience with The Classy Home has been nothing short of frustrating. While I understand the delays that come with the pandemic, the quality of the product and the customer service I received were both extremely disappointing.

When I first received my three matching shoe shelves, I quickly discovered that one shelf was missing the pegs needed to hold the shelves up. Additionally, one of the shelves was damaged and the top piece on the other was also damaged. To add insult to injury, the pre-drilled holes were not drilled properly, making it nearly impossible to screw in the screws without them coming out through the sides.

I immediately contacted The Classy Home to report the missing and damaged pieces. However, it took multiple emails and over a week to receive a response. Even then, they only requested that I send pictures of the missing and damaged parts. When I followed up, they claimed to have no record of my previous emails and asked for more pictures.

After finally providing the necessary pictures, it still took weeks for them to process my request. When they did respond, they asked for a picture of the box, which I found to be ridiculous. I complied anyway, only to have my phone-uploaded pictures not go through their system.

When I followed up again and expressed my frustration, they simply reiterated their requests for more pictures. It wasn't until more than a month after receiving the shelves that I was finally able to get the necessary parts to complete them.

Overall, my experience with The Classy Home has been very unsatisfactory. The low-quality product and difficult customer service process made it a frustrating ordeal, and I now have three shelves that have taken up space in my home for far too long. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for simple and efficient service.

The Classy Home Unsatisfied with The Classy Home: Acme Furniture Madison Espresso King Bed Review

I recently ordered the Acme Furniture Madison Espresso King Bed from The Classy Home website (theclassyhome.com) and unfortunately, my experience has not been a positive one. Upon receiving the package, my husband and I discovered that there were no instructions or screws/bolts included. After reaching out to customer service and submitting a ticket, we eventually received the necessary instructions via pdf a few days later but it took a total of 16 days for us to receive the parts.

As my husband began putting the bed together, he noticed a major issue - the headboard had octagon-shaped holes, but the screws/bolts that were provided were round and did not fit in the designated holes. This made it impossible for us to connect the bed frame together, rendering it useless. We were extremely disappointed, especially considering the fact that we paid a hefty $501 for the bed frame.

Despite our efforts to reach out to customer service for a refund, we have yet to receive a response from them. This delay has only added to our frustration and has made us feel as though we have been taken advantage of. To make matters worse, we had to wait for several weeks to even begin assembling the bed due to my recovery from a major surgery.

Overall, I would not recommend The Classy Home for any future purchases. If you're thinking about buying from them, you may want to think twice before making a purchase. The lack of quality control and poor customer service have resulted in a negative experience that has left us feeling ripped off and unsatisfied with our purchase.

The Classy Home The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) review: Terrible quality and rude customer service, would not recommend

I was really disappointed with The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com) and would not recommend this company to anyone. I recently ordered 2 chairs from them and my total came to $329.80. When the chairs finally arrived, I could hardly believe the terrible quality. They were in bad shape, with some of the legs broken and peeling material. The customer service ladies who answered my phone calls were also incredibly rude to me, which only made things worse.

When I reached out to the Classy Home customer service team, all they could offer me was to send parts to fix the chairs. But the chairs were in such bad shape that it was beyond repair. I asked for a refund, but they refused and kept going back and forth with me for over a month. I even emailed them 10 times with pictures of the damage, but they still would not budge. It was frustrating to have such poor customer service from a company that clearly did not care about their customers.

To sum it up, I would say that the quality of their products is simply not worth the price. On top of that, their customer service is completely unhelpful and downright rude. I was extremely unsatisfied with this experience and I would not recommend this website to anyone looking to buy furniture or home decor.

The Classy Home Global Furniture White Leather Gel Recliner Review: Comfortable Chair with Availability and Customer Service Issues

Hey there! I recently bought the global furniture white leather gel recliner from The Classy Home in January 2021. When I received the chair, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and beautiful it was! The color was slightly different than what was advertised, more of an eggshell or shiny pearl ivory, but I still loved it.

However, a week after placing my order, I got an email saying the chair was on backorder despite the website stating that there were 7 in stock. I was a bit disappointed, so I reached out to customer support for help. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke with was unhelpful and didn't offer much assistance - I felt like I was left out in the cold!

Thankfully, after going back and forth with Sue from the department, she did offer a discount initially which she then retracted. She later offered a $20 discount for a future purchase, which wasn't exactly what I was hoping for, but it was something.

Finally, I received my chair just yesterday and I was thrilled! I immediately left a review on The Classy Home's website, but was surprised to find out that it had been taken down. Regardless, I was happy to receive an email thanking me for the feedback. All in all, I had a mostly positive experience with The Classy Home - I just wish they were more transparent about product availability and had better customer service.

The Classy Home Disappointing Shipping Experience: A Review of The Classy Home and AM Transportation

I recently purchased a kitchen table set from The Classy Home website and initially, I was thrilled with my decision. However, my experience with the shipping has been incredibly frustrating. I placed my order back in May only to discover that my chosen table set would not be available until July. Despite my disappointment, I decided to wait because I was assured it would be available by July 21st. However, it wasn't actually processed until July 31st.

The shipping company contracted by The Classy Home is AM Transportation, they reached out and scheduled the delivery for Thursday, August 6th between 1-4pm. Unfortunately, even though I was out of town, I drove the long distance back to my home, excitedly anticipating the arrival of my kitchen table set - but my excitement turned into disappointment when no one showed up or called to inform me of any delay.

In order to get some clarity, I attempted to contact AM Transportation multiple times and was promised a call back from a manager. However, I never received that call or any form of communication at all. Whenever I tried talking to someone, I would either be put on hold for over thirty minutes, or I would be transferred to a voicemail, where again, no one bothered to return my call.

At this point, I am extremely disappointed with both The Classy Home and AM Transportation. I have decided to reject the order if it ever reaches me, and if not, I will dispute the charges. With such poor service from both companies, I cannot imagine using them again in the future.

The Classy Home Disappointing Experience with The Classy Home Furniture Delivery and Set Up Process

I recently purchased a reclining sofa from The Classy Home and unfortunately, it was not what I was expecting. While I already owned this sofa in a previous model, the newer version had backs that came off, which I was aware of. However, when the sofa arrived, only one of the two reclining seats had a back that could be removed. This was an issue for me because the doors in my home are narrow and it made it difficult for the delivery men to maneuver the sofa into my home. They seemed to be frustrated and stated that their only responsibility was to deliver the sofa, but I reminded them that I had paid for full set up.

Eventually, the delivery men tried another entrance and thankfully, the reclining seat that did not come apart, fit through the door. However, the sofa looks odd from the back, as one side is from the older model where the fabric is sewn onto the chair, and the newer model has a velcro seat. Unfortunately, this was not the experience I was hoping for, and I do not believe I would order from The Classy Home again in the future.

Despite the issues I faced with the delivery and set up, the sofa itself is comfortable and functional. It's a shame that my experience was tarnished by the delivery process, but I do appreciate the sofa itself. If The Classy Home could improve their delivery process and ensure that customers receive the correct model of furniture that they ordered, it would make for a much better customer experience.

The Classy Home The Classy Home Review: Unacceptable Post-Purchase Customer Service

When it comes to online furniture shopping, it's important to keep realistic expectations - there may be delays in delivery during uncertain times, but ultimately we trust that the product will arrive in good condition and meet our expectations. Unfortunately, this was not the case for one customer of The Classy Home website (theclassyhome.com). Not only did they experience damage to their belongings during delivery, but the resolution offered by the company was more than disappointing. To only offer $60 for a completely destroyed 40 inch flat smart screen TV is unacceptable - it's not like a replacement can be found for that price! To add insult to injury, the customer then experienced further issues with the king bed frame they ordered collapsing within a week. While they sent photos clearly portraying the issue, they were left without a number to call and instead forced to wait on email correspondence. To make it even more frustrating, they were asked the same question of whether it was the rails or slats every other day, despite already providing clear documentation. When they ultimately had no choice but to fix the issue themselves, the company even claimed that the repair was unauthorized. It's safe to say that this customer had a terrible experience with their post-purchase customer service, and this is not an acceptable way to treat paying customers.

When I ordered a patio dining set from The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com), I was looking forward to enjoying my new furniture in no time. However, it took almost four weeks for the delivery to be scheduled, and when it finally arrived, I realized that I had only received the table that cost me $617. I immediately tried to reach out to the company to return the item, but communication was only possible through email, which already set off some alarm bells.

After submitting my case, I had to wait for a response, which felt frustrating and unprofessional. When I eventually received an answer, I was informed that returning the table would cost me the full shipping fees from the initial order, which amounted to $350, plus another 25% restocking fee. In total, that would be $673 just to return an item that cost me $617 in the first place. Needless to say, I was shocked and disappointed by the company's refusal to make an exchange or offer a more reasonable return policy.

It felt as though The Classy Home was intentionally making it hard for me to return the item and that I was being forced to keep something that I didn't want simply because of the steep fees involved in returning it. Given my experience, I would caution other buyers to be aware and carefully read the company's return policy before making any purchases. In my opinion, The Classy Home is a rip-off company that I will never order from again.

As excited customers of The Classy Home (theclassyhome.com), we were thrilled to order a piece of furniture that we had been eyeing for some time. However, our experience with the delivery left much to be desired. Our initial order date was cancelled without any notification, leaving us waiting all afternoon with no follow-up from the outsourced delivery company. While the Classy Home team was able to secure another delivery date for us, we were only communicated with via email and not able to speak directly with anyone on the phone.

When the delivery finally arrived, it was well past the specified time frame, and the driver showed up in a heated state. He was clearly frustrated by the presence of steps leading up to our home and was unwilling to work with us to find a solution. While we had paid for delivery, we were unable to demonstrate this through direct communication with Classy Home due to the late hour and lack of phone support. The delivery driver even took photos of our steps and expressed his displeasure with the situation, leaving us feeling frustrated and helpless.

Thankfully, Classy Home was able to quickly address a broken piece, but we cannot say that we had a positive overall experience with the delivery process. While we remain thrilled with our furniture purchase, we feel that the challenges with delivery and limited customer support via phone overshadowed our excitement. We would love to see The Classy Home take steps to improve their delivery process, communication channels, and responsiveness to customer concerns to provide a truly exceptional experience for all of their customers.

The Classy Home Disappointing Experience with The Classy Home: A Review of Furniture and Service

When I decided to order furniture from The Classy Home, I had high hopes. Sadly, my experience was less than satisfactory.
Firstly, I attempted to clarify some details about delivery but received no response, even after leaving a voicemail. When the delivery people called, I was dismayed to hear that my furniture would be left outside of my apartment building! It seemed unacceptable to me that it would be exposed to the elements and potential thieves.
Another issue arose with the price matching policy. While the website made some mention of it, the details were not fully clear. In the end, I received only part of my requested refund.
Lastly, I encountered confusion about what my order actually included. The webpage showed a photograph of a table and chairs, but the order was only for the table. This felt like a deliberate attempt to mislead potential customers.
All in all, I was extremely disappointed by my experience with The Classy Home. I cannot recommend them to others and will not be ordering from this company again.

The Classy Home Disappointing Quality and Poor Customer Service: My Experience with The Classy Home Furniture

As someone who recently purchased furniture from The Classy Home, I must say that I was quite disappointed with the quality of the products. I had high hopes of receiving furniture that would be better than what IKEA offers, but unfortunately, my expectations were not met.

When the furniture arrived, I noticed that some of the pieces were not suitable for a queen-sized bed frame. I'm assuming they were intended for a king-sized bed frame instead. This meant that I had to embark on a DIY project to make the pieces fit properly. This was frustrating since I was expecting to receive furniture that was ready to use, not something that required modification.

The poor quality of the furniture didn't end there. The bed frame itself was missing paint on certain sides, and you could easily see the wood underneath. This was unacceptable since I paid good money for the furniture and expected it to be completed to a high standard. It was a huge disappointment, to say the least.

Regrettably, I didn't check the furniture as soon as it arrived, and I found it was past the time for me to return and receive a refund. This was completely my fault. Had I inspected the items thoroughly, I would have returned them immediately, but I chose to trust that the furniture would meet a good standard.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my purchase from The Classy Home. If you're in the market for quality furniture, I recommend looking elsewhere, as this website did not provide me with the quality I was seeking.
