Impressive Shopping Experience at Wilco: Clean, Friendly Staff, Reasonable Prices, Organized & Tidy
We was well impressed by Wilco in Woking, the shop was proper clean and we found everything we was looking for and at a good price. It was dead good, you know? The staff was dead friendly too, always ready to lend a hand. We didn't have no trouble finding what we needed, everything was well organized and easy to find. The prices was proper reasonable, like, we got some real bargains. The shop was well tidy, like I said, and it made the whole shopping experience dead pleasant. We'll definitely be going back to Wilco next time we need anything. Proper good shop, that is.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience at Wilko Banbury: Rude Attitude and Lack of Assistance
I recently visited Wilko in Banbury to check out their selection of fans. I approached a lady for assistance, but she responded with a grumpy attitude and showed no interest in helping me. I found her to be extremely rude. This lady had dark, short hair, wore glasses, and appeared to be middle-aged. Unfortunately, she was not helpful in the slightest.

I had a great experience at Wilko's one-stop branch in Birmingham. Gurpreet and Michelle were super helpful. Unfortunately, I can't provide proof of purchase because I don't know how to make a copy of my receipt. But overall, the service was wonderful.

I recently purchased a beautiful Red Microwave from Wilko, a store that I have always trusted. However, I encountered a problem with the product. Unfortunately, the instructions next to each button came off when I tried to clean it. I contacted Wilko about this issue, and they assured me that it had never happened before.
Here's where the trouble began. They insisted that I return the microwave to the shop, but as an older person living alone, I found it impossible to carry such a heavy item all the way back. When I explained my situation, they simply reiterated that I needed to bring it back to the store, and they would assist me there. But what about those who, like me, are unable to do so? They offered no alternative solutions or assistance.
In my experience with customer service, it is far more beneficial to resolve a problem for a loyal customer rather than leaving it unresolved. Now, I am feeling quite upset and naturally inclined to share my negative experience with others. This could have been easily resolved at a minimal cost, which would have been much more advantageous for Wilko. Unfortunately, their lack of flexibility has not only resulted in a negative review here, but I have also shared my disappointment with my friends and acquaintances.
This is not a smart marketing strategy on their part. As for me, I have resorted to sticking pieces of paper on the side of the microwave to remind myself of the functions of each button. It's not ideal, but it's the only solution I have found for now.
