Aravon Maya Shoes falling apart
I have some darling Aravon Maya shoes that look like new on the top but soles have rotted off. They are manmade soles. I can't wear them anymore because they made them with poor materials for the soles. They just crumble off. Can we get any kind of compensation for the poor quality but expensive shoes? I took them to a shoe repairman and he said those soles are not good quality and they do rot. He cannot repair the soles he stated.
I purchased these online about 10 years ago and hardly got any wear out of them. A lot of tread was still on them. Should have lasted until actually worn out.
I do not have a receipt from way back then.
I just took them out of storage to wear them again this summer.
Desired outcome: I would like some kind of compensation for these bad shoes. I loved them but so disappointed at the quality.
Rockport walkers soles have deteriorated.
Size 9W walkers very comfortable but the sole of both shoes didn't hold up for one year. I used them to walk three miles four times a week on a smooth road surface and they just haven't held up. My hope is this is a defect that's been corrected.

I was saving my ARAVON Maya shoes for special occasions, and wore them to an important event. As I walked along the floor of the Purdue University Memorial Union I heard a scratching sound at each step. On looking at the bottom of my shoes, I discovered to my horror that they had begun disintegrating and contained (had picked up) bits of stones! They weren't all that old, though the heel wore too quickly as well. The tops of them LOOK nice, but they are not serviceable. What can be done about this? Mary at --- [protected]@aol.com

Soles of shoes are deteriorating W4958 U6 size 8.5
Hello,
I have a pair of Rockport black pumps, and the soles of shoes are deteriorating. On the interior the numbers are W4958 U6 size 8.5, Made in Brazil.
Please see attached photos, that show the entire soles are deteriorating, especially the heels. The upper part of the shoe is brand new.
Can you provide some advice?
Can the sole be replaced? Is it worth it to repair?
Why is the sole deteriorating? Is the manufacture process having problems?
