My condensing unit weighs 172# and the box says you can stack 3 high - this is how they come from China. The fan coil unit weighs 30# and stacks 11 high. I guarantee there will be folks that get the bottom units - and they will be damaged. If you are considering a purchase with TheACOutlet, the only way you will be certain of not losing money due to damage is DO NOT LET THE DRIVER LEAVE UNTIL YOU UNPACK AND GO OVER EVERYTHING WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB! Anything less will get you a " can't help ya " from TheACOutlet. If the shipper did not damage your unit, they will have to fight that out with TheACOutlet- but you should get reimbursed by the freight company (hopefully).
This is not the way business is supposed to function. No accountability and everybody wants the fast buck. It is important to be aware of these issues before making a purchase with TheACOutlet.
