Think Vacuums Think Vacuums Review: Disappointed with Missing Vacaddy & Poor Customer Service

We thought we'd give Think Vacuums a chance and ordered the complete estate contractor kit with all the hardware that goes with it. We heard about their "new and improved" Vacaddy and decided to upgrade to it for an extra $99.99. But what a bummer it was when the Vacaddy did not come with our shipment.

We tried reaching out to their customer service through multiple emails, phone calls, and even chatting with them on their website's live chat feature. But after two long months, we still never received the Vacaddy nor the refund we were promised. We're not even sure what happened to our $100 because it seems like Think Vacuums basically took it away from us.

We were really disappointed with this experience, especially since we could've saved $30 if we just ordered the Vacaddy from Amazon instead. Overall, we wouldn't recommend Think Vacuums to anyone because of this frustrating ordeal.

Think Vacuums Poor Customer Service: My Experience with Think Vacuums

So, let me tell you about my experience with Think Vacuums. I ordered a few small things for my central vacuum cleaning system, but unfortunately, I received the wrong items in my shipment. When I called them to sort out the issue, they agreed to refund me, but it took them over 3 months to do so, even though I had to call them each month to ask for a status update.

That aside, when I was in the market for a new central vac unit, I decided to check their website too. But, to my dismay, they tried to sell me a unit without asking me if my circuit breaker was capable of handling the amps it used. It was a rookie mistake on their part, and I was disappointed.

I eventually decided not to purchase from them, and I must say, I was happy with my decision. They are fast when it comes to selling, but when it comes to the buying process, they don't offer much help.

Overall, I would say that Think Vacuums needs to buck up on their customer service and provide more personalized assistance to customers during the buying process. Until they improve significantly, I would recommend you to steer clear of them.

Think Vacuums Think Vacuum's Poor Customer Service and Unprofessionalism

So, I called Think Vacuums to check if they had the part I needed in stock. I spoke to a sales guy who told me they had the part in stock. I put in my order and waited excitedly. When I received my order, I was disappointed to realize that I received a different part. I was hella upset and called them back to get some answers. I couldn't believe what they told me next. They said that the part I had ordered was no longer available and they had sent me a replacement. I didn't get why whoever I spoke with first didn't let me know what was up. Anyway, they didn't wanna do anything about it, and the customer service wasn't great. I don't recommend this company at all. Definitely not the best customer service ever. They were being so rude and kept blaming me for their mix up. They even mentioned that I didn't read the details before putting in my order. But look at the photo, they didn't even read my order themselves! So unprofessional!

Think Vacuums Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Think Vacuums - Beware Before You Buy

I was pretty bummed out with my experience with Think Vacuums. Now, listen, I ain't no expert in vacuums or nothin', but I know when things ain't right. I bought a new filter for my central vac back in Jan 2020, and it was a good price and came quickly, so that was great at first. But then, come Apr, the vacuum gave out. Y'all wanna know why? Cause dirt and dust got in the motor, all on account of that dang filter not fittin' right.

So, I took some pictures to show the filter was faulty and sent off an email to Think Vacuums in May. And wouldn't ya know it, no response. So, I took matters into my own hands and sent another email in Jun, hoping for some answers. Finally heard back in Jul from some guy named Dan, and he said they weren't gonna send me a replacement filter. Why, you ask? Cause apparently the first one was supposed to fit properly and they weren't gonna help me out "due to the amount of time that had passed from the original purchase date."

Now, I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty crappy customer service. I ain't gonna be buying from Think Vacuums again, and y'all might wanna think twice before you do too.

Think Vacuums Terrible Customer Service Experience at Think Vacuums - Owner Insulted Me and Hung Up on Me

So, I bought a vacuum from this place called Think Vacuums. I spent over $700, thinkin' I had all the attachments I needed. But apparently, I'm an idiot, 'cause the owner, Robert, told me I needed this turbo brush thing to properly clean my rug. Why didn't he tell me that in the first place? I already spent so much money.

The worst part was how he insulted me, callin' me an idiot and all that. Then he transferred me to Abby, who was supposed to take my credit card info for ANOTHER $119. By the time I was done talkin' to her, I was in tears. And when I said they were bein' mean, Abby just hung up on me!

I ain't ever gonna recommend this place to anyone. They're not nice people at all. But after talkin' to them some more over phone and email, I guess it all got sorted out. Still, I wouldn't want anyone else goin' through what I did.

Think Vacuums Think Vacuums Review: Platinum Accessory Kit Disappoints Despite Helpful Representatives

I recently made the decision to replace my Nutone central vacuum system accessories, but I was unsure about not purchasing a brand name product. After a bit of research, I decided to give Think Vacuums a try and purchased their Platinum accessory kit. However, my experience was not as satisfactory as I had hoped.

When I received the kit, I realized that the piece meant for hardwood floors had very little suction power. Although it could pick up dog hair and dust, it was not strong enough to pick up a small piece of dog food. This was quite disappointing, as I was accustomed to my Nutone system, which had such great suction power that it could effortlessly suck up just about anything. Furthermore, the bare floor accessory included in the kit was useless. I ended up having to order a replacement one from Nutone, which worked beautifully.

I reached out to Think Vacuums to share my issue with them and hoped they would be able to offer a solution. Unfortunately, it was pretty much a waste of time. The representative I spoke to simply noted my account and the problem was never addressed. This was disappointing, as it would have been nice to receive some feedback or a possible solution to my problem.

That being said, I want to give credit where credit is due. When I initially called Think Vacuums to place my order, their representatives were quite helpful in determining what products would meet my needs. However, due to the issues I experienced, I am hesitant to purchase anything else from them. Perhaps they are content with having enough business that they do not see the need to cater to repeat customers.

In conclusion, I would advise others to proceed with caution when purchasing from Think Vacuums. While their representatives may be able to provide helpful guidance during the ordering process, their products might not meet your expectations.

Think Vacuums Do not buy from ThinkVacuums.com - Terrible Customer Service & Product Quality

Ordered a hose and kit for central vacuum from ThinkVacuums.com. It said that it was compatible with my system, so I decided to buy it. I got free shipping, but it took two weeks to arrive. I opened the package and tried it out, but the hose and accessory kit did not work with my system. To make it worse, the hose looked used already! Called ThinkVacuums.com to discuss and wanted to return the items as per "Hassel Free Return Policy". Was told that I had to replace the system, but after the next call, they finally gave us an RA number to return the package. When we wanted to send it back, we found that we needed to pay for the shipping and restocking fee. It was ridiculous as it was close to a $100 order! Customer service was terrible, and I was completely disappointed with their product. Would not recommend it to anyone! Please save your money and go to a reputable business instead.

Think Vacuums Beware of Think Vacuums: Worst Customer Service and Hidden Fees!

I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed with my experience purchasing from Think Vacuums (thinkvacuums.com). The thing is, the customer service department sold me some central vacuum parts that were completely incompatible with my system. And get this, before I even made the purchase, I provided them with my central vac system serial/model number! Sheesh.

Now, I'm not one to complain without trying to solve the issue. So, I went ahead and placed another order to try and correct the error. Unfortunately, the problem still persisted. To make matters worse, they were supposed to ship me 4 powerhead tubes, but I only got 3. And as if that wasn't enough, I also did not receive a manual.

The return policy was never disclosed to me, so when I found myself needing to return the incorrect parts, I got hit with a whole bunch of fees. And when I say a whole bunch, I'm talking about $265.00 worth of return shipping fees, restocking fees, and other penalties. That's a lot of money!

I've been trying to get a detailed copy of my return receipts for about 3 weeks now, but still have not received the information I need to submit to our cooperate office. It's a real bummer because I was hoping to get this issue resolved quickly.

In all honesty, this is the worst customer service I've ever come across in my 10 years of purchasing experience. It's pretty clear to me that the error was on their side, yet I had to cough up $265.00 in fees. That's straight up thievery in my books!

I'm not going to just sit around and let this slide. I'm definitely going to write another review and outline all the charges that were slapped on me. I will also be disputing and reporting this whole ordeal. If this is your first time considering purchasing from Think Vacuums, I suggest you think twice.

Think Vacuums Exceptional Customer Service and Quality Products from Think Vacuums

I'm not as young as I used to be, but in my day I was a big deal: SVP over 55 people managing key corporate clients and two billion in annual revenue. And let me tell you, when it comes to customer service, I know what's good and what's not. And let me tell you, folks, Think Vacuums is good.

My Hayden central vac died after 18 long years, and I needed a replacement fast. I searched high and low on the interwebs and decided on the Drainvac brand. The build quality, the power, the features were all top-notch. And, more importantly, they used a motor brand expected to last for a good long time.

So I moseyed on over to thinkvacuums.com and ordered the Powerhouse model. Only problem was, I misspelled my own dang email address. So there was a delay.

But no need to fear! Customer service manager Juan was on the case. And let me tell you, he fixed things up in a jiffy. In just minutes, my order was in process and on its way.

Shipping was fast and the vacuum arrived in an exceptionally well-sealed package. And get this: the PVC fittings to hook it up were included! What a deal!

Juan is a credit to the company. And you can tell that the folks at Think Vacuums take customer service seriously. Everything runs like clockwork, and they're laser-focused on making sure each customer has a great experience.

I highly recommend this company. The quality of the brands they carry is top-notch, and the service they provide is exceptional.

Think Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Think Vacuums: Poor Product & Frustrating Return Process

So I finally got my vacuum from Think Vacuums and I gotta say, ain't too impressed. It's alright I suppose, but I was expecting more for the price I paid. Plus, it took forever for them to ship it out to me.

But the real headache came when I tried to return it. They gave me the runaround for days, and I had to call them out on their dishonesty more than once. Finally, they agreed to give me a refund, but who knows how long that's gonna take to come through.

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, unless you like dealing with a whole lot of hassle for a not-so-great product. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for your vacuum needs.

Think Vacuums Terrible Customer Service and Faulty Product - Avoid This Vacuum Retailer

. Went to test run vacuums and compare prices, but the staff ignored me and began chatting away with each other instead of helping. Finally got to test out a vacuum, but it didn't work correctly and their response was to blame me for not knowing how to use it. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay freight and a restocking fee, even though the vacuum was faulty. The whole process was a nightmare and not worth it. Don't waste your time and money on this site. Find a more reliable vacuum retailer that cares about customer satisfaction.

Think Vacuums Disappointing Experience with Think Vacuums: Poor Customer Service and Faulty Product

Got the vacuum from Think Vacuums and found a problem right off the bat. The handle didn't fit properly into the base of the sucker and I was practically fuming! I don't have a lot of money to throw down the drain, so I tried to contact the company in various ways. I sent an email and chatted with representatives several times, but all I got were the same "we're looking into it" kind of responses. I mean, come on!

I have been persistent with my requests, even asked for a replacement or a return, and still no concrete resolution was given. It's just a hassle and caused me more stress than I anticipated. The fact that it costs me a pretty penny made me even more irate.

All in all, I'm just really disappointed with my experience with Think Vacuums. Their customer service needs some major improvement, and it's just too darn expensive to have been through all this ordeal.

Think Vacuums Disappointing customer service and delayed orders at Think Vacuums

I ain't gonna lie, my experience with Think Vacuums wasn't so great. I tried to order a filter on August 1st, but didn't get it until August 30th. And not only that, they said it was gonna be delayed another 2 weeks! That's just crazy! I ended up cancelling my order and they said they'd give me my money back in 10 days. Well guess what, it's been 3 weeks and no refund! And they ain't even returning none of my calls or emails. Their customer service is the pits, and don't even try calling 'em because you ain't gonna reach no one. If you're looking for a new vacuum or filter, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Think Vacuums Think Vacuums Review: Misleading Chat Rep and Costly Mistake

I gotta tell ya, if you ain't sure what to order for your central vac system, I wouldn't recommend going to Think Vacuums. I thought I had it all figured out, but their chat rep steered me wrong and I wound up with the wrong thing. To top it off, I had to pay a restocking fee and shell out for shipping to send it back. Ended up being out almost $200 and didn't even have anything to show for it. Not cool, man.

So I was lookin' for a new carpet powerhead for my vac, right? Tried a few other companies, and finally ended up talkin' to the peeps over at ThinkVacuums. We had a long chat session about gettin' the right part for my system, and they seemed pretty confident that their recommendation would work. But after I got it and tried it out, turns out it was totally incompatible! Not cool, ThinkVacuums. Can't say I'd recommend 'em to anyone else.

Think Vacuums Think Vacuums Review: Disappointing Experience and Unhelpful Return Policy

I had high hopes for Think Vacuums, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling like I had been tricked. I was excited to purchase a SEBO vacuum, as I had heard great things about them, and the associate I spoke with on the phone assured me that I was getting a fantastic deal on the model we discussed. However, when my vacuum arrived, I quickly realized that it wasn't the model we had talked about at all. In fact, the unit I received was discontinued, so I couldn't even find replacement parts for it if needed.

At this point, I was seriously considering returning the vacuum. But unfortunately, Think Vacuums' return policy wasn't very helpful. In fact, it was pretty customer unfriendly. I felt like I was stuck with the vacuum, even though it wasn't what I wanted and wasn't going to work for me in the long run.

All in all, I have to say that my experience with Think Vacuums was a big disappointment. I had high hopes for this company, but unfortunately, they were unable to live up to my expectations. If you're considering purchasing a vacuum from this retailer, I would urge you to proceed with caution and do your research beforehand. Don't make the same mistake I did by assuming that you're getting what you think you're getting.

Think Vacuums Terrible customer service and wrong parts sent

So I ordered some parts for my vac and guess what? They sent me the wrong stuff. Bags, belts, filters, all of it was wrong! I was so frustrated, but I decided to get on the Think Vacuums website and see if they could help me out. I got in a chat with someone, but geesh, it was taking forever for them to respond. But I finally got through and talked to Manager Juan. But can you believe he called me "Buddy?" I mean, come on man, I'm a customer, not your buddy! And to top it off, I found out they were gonna charge me a restocking fee and make me pay for the return postage. I can't believe how poor this company's service is.

I should have looked up their rating before I bought anything from Think Vacuums. Their customer service is beyond terrible. They sent the wrong vacuum and then charged me a restocking fee. Can you believe it? It took them a whole month to refund me for the wrong vacuum they sent me. I wouldn't recommend buying from them again. I don't know how they manage to stay in business with customer service like that!

Think Vacuums Think Vacuums fails to deliver quality products and customer service

Think Vacuums ain't the safest place to buy anything, mate. Theyse not got your back when it comes to the gear they sellin'.
I ordered a knockoff filter for my Beam Central Vacuum Model #189F but when I received it, the filter was made of weak materials and wouldn't let the motor work to its fullest capacity. I spent a hefty $72.00 on this weak knick-knack and when I tried to explain to Ken what's what, he just hung up the phone on me without lettin' me finish.
It's a real shame that a company don't respect their customers' investment. I don't think I'll be buying from Think Vacuums again.
