I talk to K*** from this car place
I talk to K from this car place. I tell him what Toyota I want. He send me pics of car and price sticker. I drive the car and K say there is another sticker with $8,000 more. I think it is bait and switch. I tell Toyota and FTC about the lying.
Wow, what a mess!
Wow, what a mess! I talked to Kenneth and we agreed to meet at Thousand Oaks Toyota to buy a car. But when I got there after driving for 2 hours, he wasn't there! C and L tried to help me, but it took a whole month and another 2-hour drive to pick up the car. And guess what? They ordered the wrong one! Can you believe it? They sell cars for a living and they can't even get that right. Leann got a manager to help, but he called me by someone else's name (more confusion!). He tried to sell me a car in the wrong color and then offered me another one with the wrong specs for only 2k less (even though my original deal was over 5k for "market adjustment"). I decided not to buy from them. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. That's just my opinion.
I work with J*** all week long to see a car
I work with J all week long to see a car. I made an appointment, drove 41 miles and when I got there, the car wasn't on the lot. When I asked J, she said she didn't know I was coming in today, even though we made an appointment. She tried to get me to look at another car (bait and switch) and when I said no, she said she'd get a manager. After watching the managers chatting for about 10 minutes, I finally walked in they area and was given nothing but grief by the staff. As if I was being unreasonable after complaining about the long drive and lack of concern from the staff. The GM was there but failed to speak up until I asked who the GM was. All he did was complain to me for being rude to his inept staff. He even told me he didn't even think he wanted to sell a car to me. There was no accountability taken by the staff for the fact the car was not on the lot. They didn't care. The GM is a tattooed bully who is the wrong position. They were inconsiderate and rude. Just a terrible experience and no one there seemed to care. I guess once the car situation improves, they'll be more appreciative of their customers, but right now they don't care. I'd love to speak with the owners, but not sure how to reach them. My recommendation is you skip this dealer. They don't know how to treat a customer and are plain unprofessional. This dealer staff fully reinforces how dishonest car sales people really are.

I got a 2013 Toyota Prius c on Feb 3
I got a 2013 Toyota Prius c on Feb 3. I traded in my 2017 Toyota Rav 4, which was paid for. They gave me $4,000 difference in price. It's been months and I still don't have the pink slip or license. I called many times but no one called me back. I called on May 2nd and threatened to go there. They called me back and said the previous owner didn't pay their last payment and they couldn't get the pink slip back. My temporary license expired on the 5th. On the 6th, I got a temporary permit to operate the vehicle that I OWNED! I still don't have the pink slip or license. I gave them my vehicle with my pink slip. I think they broke the law by not having the pink slip before selling the vehicle.
We got a car from this dealer in Dec
We got a car from this dealer in Dec. 2020. We planned to trade in our car but the finance person said we should sell it to them instead of trading. They agreed to buy the car for $1800 and said we'd get a check in a few weeks. It's been almost six months and we haven't gotten any money. We've called a lot and it's hard to get anyone on the phone or to call us back. When we do talk to someone, they transfer us and say they'll fix it but they don't. They said they sent a check but had the wrong address. We gave them the right address but still no check. We asked if we could get the car back if they can't pay us for it (we paid it off years ago) and they said it was sold. That seems wrong. We're trying to fix it with ComplaintsBoard.com before going to small claims.
