Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle: A Review of Shimla and Manali Package
I recently booked a 4-day, 5-night package to Shimla and Manali, India through Travel Triangle (TT) with an advance payment of Rs. *** for a total package cost of Rs. *** per couple in April-May 2018. However, my experience with TT was not what I expected.
TT outsourced my package to Himalayan Escape Journeys Venture - Elite Tours, Manali, with some random guy. All the scenic pictures on the TT website were outsourced to a small one-room roadside travel company in Manali.
We boarded a bus at Panipat, Haryana toll plaza, with the cheapest travel option with the lowest rating - Northern Travel. The bus was late by 2.5 hours in the middle of the night, and the driver demanded a luggage charge of Rs. 20 per bag, which we were not aware of and had to argue about. When we arrived in Shimla, the breakfast at the hotel was already over. The so-called 3-star Hotel Vivek Palace in Shimla was the worst hotel on the hillside. Without ice, that place was hell, and the hospital management gave us a terrible welcome by asking who we were. The room we got had bad linen and no breakfast.
For local sightseeing, a car was assigned, but there was no guide or plan. We visited dry places with nothing of interest. It was too cold for us, and despite several requests, no room heater was provided, making for a terrible night.
The second day was the same local sightseeing, and we didn't enjoy it much. We couldn't bear the hospitality and decided to leave the place. However, Himalayan Escape Journeys Venture - Elite Tours, Manali, did not accept this and persuaded us to stay despite our requests that we were prone to cold and wanted to continue to Manali.
We sent many SOS messages to the TT app on our phone and called trip adviser Ms. Nish Mahato in TT, but there was no response despite several calls and messages. We paid the total amount as the tour operator said we had booked all hotels and tours, which couldn't be canceled. However, after paying the full amount, we received messages that our hotels were being booked in Manali, even though the tour operator said the hotels were already booked.
We stayed for two days and one night and paid Rs. 30,000.00. If you want to have the same experience and want to be a "bewakoof," then please book your tours through Travel Triangle as they show a lot of scenic places in their ads.
When we raised these issues with the tour operator and Travel Triangle, we received surprising responses. For the bus inconvenience, they said, "Sir, what can we do if a bus comes late at midnight and harasses you for Rs. 20? You are 'chindhi'." For the hotel inconvenience, they said, "Sir, the hotel does this, so what can we do? Who uses a room heater in summer in Shimla? The hotel is a 3-star, sir." For the tour end due to health grounds, they said, "How can it happen, sir? We have already booked hotels in Manali. You cannot cancel. Pay the full amount."
In the end, we paid the safety money, booked our own bus, and came back safely to Panipat. If you want this kind of "faltoo" adventure, then go with Travel Triangle. Check the pics.
Unreliable and Untrustworthy: My Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle and Holiday Aces
My experience with Travel Triangle and Holiday Aces was not a pleasant one. I had booked a package for my Russian holidays and faced several issues throughout my trip. Firstly, the agency Holiday Aces did not provide me with the details of my inclusions until the last day. I was promised something else, but when I reached there, I had to bear the price of everything. The vouchers were also given to me at the last moment, and I had to plead with them to get one of the inter-airport transfers voucher, which was given to me the evening before my departure.
Mr Ajay from Holiday Aces was not helpful at all. He did not know what he was offering, and they were just a mediator between us and the third party they outsource their activities. He made me pay an extra 30 dollars for an inclusion that was indicated in my package from day one. They denied making it inclusive because the profit margin in my package was low, and I had to pay for it if I wanted the inclusion. They gave me a hotel that was a floor above a strip club, and I had to pay 30,000 rupees more from my pocket and book a new hotel there and then.
They did not inform me about my change in flight timings, and I had to pay 2, 44, 000/- on the spot to book a return flight since I missed my flight as I was not aware of the change in timings. Mr Ajay was not responsive to my calls or messages, and when he did answer, he would say he is working on it and will get back to me in 10 minutes, which never came.
Travel Triangle's executive, Mr Avinash Prasad, was also not helpful. Before I booked the package, he was calling me four times a day, but after I made the bookings and called him for some query, he stopped taking calls. He failed to provide me with the details I was promised and gave me excuses from their end. He was not listening to my complaints and was more favorable towards the agent than his client who made the payment.
In conclusion, I would advise everyone to avoid both Travel Triangle and Holiday Aces. They are not trustworthy and do not provide the services they promise.
Disappointing Trip with Travel Triangle: Poor Planning and Organization
I recently went on a trip with Travel Triangle and I have to say, it was a complete waste of time and money. The first day was supposed to be a Dhow cruise, but it took us two hours to get to the starting point because we had to pick up five other families from different locations. The cruise itself was not worth it, with loud music and irritating lighting. We had to stand on the open deck because there was no seating available.
The second day was even worse. We were picked up at 8:30 and had to wait until 9:45 for other families to join us. We then spent two hours at a mosque, which was not even the main attraction of the day. By the time we got to Ferrari World, we only had three hours to spend there, including lunch. The day ended at 10 PM, with no time planned for lunch or dinner.
The third day was the only good day, as we were left to explore on our own. The fourth day was a desert safari, which was the only good part of the day. However, the dinner was a disaster, with the buffet closing after only 15 minutes and only dal rice available. The mehendi was also a disappointment, with the free option being hardly a line of mehendi and the paid option being overpriced.
The fifth day was supposed to be a city tour, but the driver did not know the plan and we wasted five hours driving around Dubai with no guide. We stopped at a random mall that was not even on the itinerary.
Overall, this was the worst organized trip I have ever been on. All the major places can be easily reached by metro and it would be better to plan a trip yourself rather than relying on travel partners.
Disastrous Experience with Travel Triangle: A Warning to All Travelers
I recently booked a 4-day tour to Delhi - Nainital - Jim Corbett for my family of seven through Travel Triangle. I was excited to enjoy a hassle-free trip with comfort and ease. However, my first experience with Travel Triangle turned out to be a disaster due to the irresponsible behavior of their staff who seemed to prioritize money-making over customer service.
On the first day of the trip, the driver arrived an hour late, claiming that the cab had broken down on the way. To make matters worse, the driver was completely unaware of the route to Nainital, and we were left dependent on him to get us there. Unfortunately, the driver took a wrong route, and we ended up reaching our destination two hours late. Even in the evening, there was chaos as the driver was unfamiliar with the routes.
Despite repeated requests, Travel Triangle did not provide us with a local driver, and we were left to rely on GPS. The hotels provided by them were located in isolated areas, far from the city, and the food quality was below average. We could not cover most of the sights due to the driver's foolishness.
When we raised the issue with Travel Triangle, their employees, Ameed, Gautam, and travel agent Kamal, were unhelpful and even threatened us with the police if we did not pay the remaining amount. We were embarrassed and disturbed by the chaos created by Travel Triangle.
The rooms provided were dirty, and the food was average. Gautam, one of their employees, was unsympathetic and told me that I was not there to enjoy the trip but to fight. This attitude was unacceptable, and I was left feeling frustrated and disappointed.
On the check-out date, we were at the police station in Nainital, trying to sort out the issue. Travel Triangle did not seem to care about our sightseeing or departure from Nainital to Delhi. We left at 1.30 instead of 9.30 and reached Gurgaon at 11.30 PM. The three days of our trip were wasted by Travel Triangle, and they were only interested in taking our money, not providing us with the services we paid for.
Now, I am asking for a refund, but Travel Triangle is ignoring my requests, claiming that the trip was perfect and that they covered everything mentioned in the quote. I want to make it clear that I am not a fake customer, and I am genuinely disappointed by the money-making attitude of Travel Triangle.
I urge anyone planning a trip with their family not to book with Travel Triangle. This story is not fake, and if anyone wants to cross-check, they can call me at ***606 or email me at ***@gmail.com.
Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle: A Nightmare Vacation to Mussorie
I recently booked a 2N/3D package to Mussorie with Travel Triangle (TT) and I must say, it was not a pleasant experience. Firstly, the TT team promised me great service and took payment from me, but then handed me over to a local agent. I had to call the local agent to finalize the details of my trip, which was quite inconvenient.
I had booked a taxi from Delhi to Mussorie and back, along with a hotel. However, I faced several issues during my trip. Firstly, the driver provided to me was very slow and took the longest route possible. A 7-hour trip took us 12 hours, and we were not able to cover all the itinerary points that were promised on the first day. We asked him to take a specific route as per Google maps, but he refused, saying that the suggested route was not safe. However, on our way back, he took the same route to save time. He also drove very slowly, honking at every small or big crossing, even when there was no traffic.
Secondly, the local agent did not inform us about the traffic situation in Mussorie, which was quite bad. We lost a lot of time due to the traffic jams, and we were not able to cover all the places we had planned to visit.
Thirdly, when we reached the hotel, we found that there was only 500ml of water provided for each person, which was not enough. Ideally, there should have been at least 1000ml of water provided.
Fourthly, I was surprised to know that my dinner, which was part of the package, was a pre-defined menu with no option to select any other dish. I was also not allowed to order any non-veg dishes. This information was not shared by the TT agents over the call or mentioned in the itinerary or invoice.
Throughout this entire experience, there was no support or calls that we received from the TT team. They were not even bothered why we had not reached the hotel on the expected time. I had to call them and coordinate to get to the hotel myself. While I managed all this and talked very courteously with the TT team, they were not helpful in resolving my situation. I ended up wasting Day 2 as well, where I was only able to visit one of the planned three places. To add to my inconvenience, we had to walk downhill for 3 kms with most of our belongings and a 4-year-old kid just to reach back to our hotel to grab some food at 4 pm, all due to the lack of adequate planning of the TT agent to counter the traffic jams, as no information was shared. The driver wasn't helpful either, as he always mentioned that he wasn't aware of the situation or the route, even though the TT agent mentioned that the driver was a regular person they have used to travel here.
On the day of check-out, I was asked to pay the remaining 50% of the amount in cash, which was quite surprising. I had to make a number of calls between the TT agent and the hotel to resolve the issue, rather than the TT agent making it easy for me to manage. None of this was mentioned before I left or even the day before, where I could have withdrawn cash.
In conclusion, I would not recommend planning your trips with Travel Triangle. It is not worth making your vacation into a nightmare, especially if you are traveling with your family and kids. They forget about you once you make the payment, and their service is not up to the mark.
Terrible Experience with I Need Travels and Turning Point Dubai: A Warning for Others
I recently had a terrible experience with I Need Travels and Turning Point Dubai while travelling to Dubai with my family from 24th to 29th December 2017. I cannot stress enough how much I regret booking through them. Every single day of our trip was filled with annoyance, trouble, stress, and delays, all thanks to the miserable management of I Need Travels. They may try to blame their Dubai vendor, Turning Point, but for an Indian customer booking a trip from miles away, it is all one organising unit.
The main issue we faced was the constant delays in pick-up vehicles. On the first day of our local Dubai city tour, we were promised a pick-up time of 8:30 am, but the driver arrived two hours late at 10:30 am. To make matters worse, the driver was highly unprofessional and had no idea about the routes. He even forgot to pick up a family and had to take us back to our own hotel, causing us to start our trip at 12:30 pm instead of 9-9:30 am as promised. The itinerary listed nine places, but we were only shown one, and there were no photo stops as promised. This was not the start we were hoping for.
Even our subsequent visits to Burj Khalifa and Abu Dhabi city tour were marked by delayed pick-ups. We asked the company to cover up the missed places in the remaining days, but they made false promises and never followed through. They gave excuses like "already late for next pick-up," "desert safari is done by a different driver," and "not possible since it is not on the route." It was all a carefully crafted sham to loot people by Turning Point, Dubai.
On the final day, we were assured a pick-up time of 7 am for our 11 am flight, but as usual, the driver was late. When we called the organization, they said they would get back to us in two minutes, but we didn't receive a call until 7:45 am. They said the driver was late and would take another 30 minutes, but they didn't even think it was their responsibility to let us know. We had to take our own cab and reach the airport, and they didn't seem to care about someone missing their return flight. I can also provide contacts of people who were not picked up from the airport by Turning Point when they arrived.
The management was so terrible that we had to call the company multiple times, spending more money on mobile recharge than on food in the entire trip. Every day, we were promised that they would message us the pick-up details for the next day, but not a single time did this happen. The mental damage done, including stress, tension, anger, despair, and false hopes, cannot be quantified in monetary value.
I want to warn others that the organizations may try to blame the customers who were picked up from different hotels for not being ready on time, but I can provide contacts of all 12 passengers who travelled with us on 25th and 27th, who boarded from different hotels and were ready on time. It was the company cars that were late by themselves. All of us had this common complaint. They may also try to blame the hotel we chose for being away from the city, but there were 100 more families in the hotel who had booked using different agencies and none of them had any problem.
Overall, I had a terrible experience with I Need Travels and Turning Point Dubai, and I would never recommend them to anyone.
Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle: Inconsistent Information, Incorrect Documents, and Extra Charges
My cousin and I recently booked a trip to the Maldives through Travel Triangle for April 1st, 2022. The process of booking was a bit confusing, as we were provided with 4-5 different agents to contact and had to bargain with them for the best deal. However, we were able to secure a good package for our trip.
Unfortunately, my cousin was unable to travel in April 2021 due to COVID-19, so we requested a refund from Travel Triangle. They provided us with a credit note of 134k out of the original 158k, deducting land/booking charges. They informed us that we could use the credit note to travel anytime within a year.
When we planned to travel in April 2022, we received a revised quotation of 180k for an all-inclusive package. We noticed that the price had gone up by 40k compared to the previous year, and the package included one night and one day less. We contacted the travel agent to finalize the deal, but they were on leave. In the meantime, we wanted to verify the prices and enquired with Travel Triangle. Another agent offered us the same package for 170k. We informed my cousin to book it from a different agent of Travel Triangle.
However, when we tried to switch to the other agent, Ankush Bhardwaj, who was handling our booking, denied our request. We wrote several emails to Ankush and the owner, Sankalp Agarwal, but Ankush did not allow us to switch to another agent who was providing the same plan for 10k less. We were forced to take the package, as we needed to use our credit note before the deadline. We ended up paying an extra 10k for the trip.
Before the trip, we asked for travel guidelines and were in contact with Ankush Bhardwaj. He provided us with outdated COVID guidelines from the government of the Maldives and the government of India. We asked for the latest guidelines, but he shared the same old guidelines and insisted that we must be fully vaccinated before 14 days of traveling. However, I read the latest guidelines and traveled just 2 days before being fully vaccinated. No one asked me about my vaccination status during immigration at the Maldives.
During the trip, we faced several problems, including inconsistent information from Travel Triangle and incorrect documents. They did not share information about TDS, which they deducted from my cousin's account. We were also in a loss of 10k due to the TDS being shown against my brother's name.
Overall, we had a bad experience with Travel Triangle. They are only interested in making money and do not provide proper assistance to their customers. We faced many problems before, during, and after the trip, and the company owner, Sankalp Agarwal, did not take any action to resolve them. I have put him in CC in many emails, but nothing happened. We ended up losing 60k in this trip due to Travel Triangle's inconsistent information and incorrect documents. I would not recommend using their services.
Horrible Honeymoon Experience with Fantabulous Holidays: Misleading Quotes, Poor Coordination, and Disappointing Services
We decided to book our honeymoon trip to Bali with Fantabulous Holidays after looking at three other quotes. Although their package was a bit more expensive than others, we chose them because of their decent ratings. The team was really onto us until the deal was done, with multiple calls and emails. They followed up with us every 2-3 hours, telling us to book quickly or else the price might change. We booked the trip and paid all installments on time. However, once they received all payments, the whole scene changed.
The first quotation they gave us had the hotel called The Mutiara Resort in Jimbaran area, while the one mentioned in the call (which we recorded) was The Mutiara Resort in Seminyak area. When we highlighted this to the marketing person, he was rude and had the audacity to say, "Do whatever you want, the details mentioned in the quote will be the final one!" This was just the beginning of our troubles with Fantabulous Holidays.
There was no coordination between their marketing, operation, and on-ground team. Our quote kept changing without any proper approval, as and when the agents could not arrange the things mentioned in the quote to make maximum profit. Until our last day of travel, things were not finalized, and the operation agent was unsure of things mentioned in the quotation.
During our trip, we had experiences we didn't think would be coming in. The first day candlelight dinner was a disaster and completely changed my idea of a "Romantic Candlelight Dinner"! It was a replacement for a cruise dinner which got cancelled at the last moment. It was a normal shack with cheap plastic table-chair and a candle, of course, full of chaos around and playing loud Bollywood and Marathi party songs. They really booked the cheapest dinner available in Bali! This was so disappointing since we have paid for a cruise dinner, and in return, what we got was this cheap experience!
The next day, we had to pay an extra charge/tax amount for Nusa-Penida island tour, which was never mentioned anywhere, neither in the quotation nor by any teams of Fantabulous Holidays. After reporting all these issues to the team during our trip in Bali, there was no convincing response from them, but only a SORRY! They should understand that an apology every time doesn't work in this field of business!
Later, we got a call from the customer care stating that the rest of the trip would be smooth and as per our itinerary, and strict action would be taken on the misconduct done by the marketing person. As per our itinerary, we had to shift to Ashoka Tree Resort for our last 2 days stay, and our itinerary mentioned a Superior Room with Garden & Pool view. When we checked-in at about 6 pm in the evening, it was a normal room with garden view towards the end. When enquired at the hotel reception, they said this was only booked against our name. We actually lost it at that point in time as we were really tired and wanted to relax peacefully in the evening. We had to again start following up with them. The on-ground team told that the voucher has this detail, and hence this was booked. Again there is a mistake by the fantastic Fantabulous team! We were asked to wait for half an hour to resolve the issue. 1.5 hours passed, and still, there was no action being taken. When we asked the Operation team coordinator, she put the entire blame on the hotel management, stating that they aren't ready with the room and so the delay.
We went to find out what was happening at the reception, and they told us Fantabulous team is asking them to upgrade without paying the extra upgradation cost, so there is a to & fro discussion happening. They had kept the room ready for us and were waiting for the payment confirmation. When this was brought to the operation team coordinator in a strict manner, then they agreed to finally upgrade it. During this time, we asked the customer care team to contact us to highlight this issue as they promised us that the rest of the trip would be fine. We did not receive any call from them. This entire hotel thing took almost 2.5 hours, and our entire evening was ruined to death!
We were frustrated with the kind of service and behavior the Fantabulous team gave us! It was completely sucking! There was no extra compensation given for all the wrong things done. Neither did they ask for a post-trip feedback. Hence it was very clear that the previous commitment done by the customer team was also fake as others!
In short, we had a horrible experience during our honeymoon trip, which usually people want to relax and enjoy peacefully. We do not recommend planning your holidays with Fantabulous Holidays. They literally make all efforts to ruin it completely!
Disappointing Service from Travel Triangle: A Review of Our Recent Tour
I recently booked a tour with Travel Triangle and unfortunately, I have to say that I was not impressed with the service I received. From the very beginning, there were issues with the booking process. I was told by the sales executive, Preeti, that the higher management wanted to take care of me and my experience, but this was not the case.
When we started our trip, we had requested a well-behaved driver and a car with a music system. However, when we boarded the vehicle, the driver did not know the route and the music system was not working. These may seem like small issues, but they were indicative of the lack of attention to detail from the travel agency.
To make matters worse, we later found out that the driver had been in jail for almost a week in November. This was not something that we were informed of beforehand and it made us feel uneasy.
On the 10th of December, we asked the driver to follow the itinerary and take us to the mentioned places in Dhnauti. However, we were informed that it was not possible to visit all the highlighted places. This was disappointing, but we decided to drop some places and visit Tihri Dam instead.
The next day, we were stopped by traffic police and it was discovered that all the required documents were not in order. This caused a delay of 12 hours for a 9-hour journey. It was also embarrassing when the police asked about the trip details and we had to mention that we had paid 1.2 Lacs for the trip.
On the 13th of December, we were informed that the road to Chopta was blocked and we could not go there. We were asked to stay in a 2nd class lodge, which was completely unacceptable. When we raised our concerns with Avinash, he told us that there was no availability in other hotels. However, when we checked over the phone, we found that there was availability. We were forced to stay in the lodge with no electricity and cold water, which was not ideal, especially since we were traveling with a 4-year-old child.
The next day, we decided to take it easy and only visited one place since our child was not feeling well. However, on the 16th of December, we asked the driver to take us to three other places, but he refused to go anywhere. After multiple conversations with Avinash, the driver misbehaved and had abusive verbal actions with us. We were forced to cancel our trip, even though we had paid 1.05 Lacs for assured service.
Overall, this trip was a mental trauma for us, and we were disappointed with the service we received from Travel Triangle. We hope that they will be more sensitive to their customers in the future and ensure that they receive the service they have paid for.
Avoid Booking with Travel Triangle: My Disastrous Experience
I recently returned from a trip booked through Travel Triangle and I must say, it was a complete disaster. I urge everyone out there to avoid booking with them at all costs. Allow me to share my experience in detail so that you can avoid falling into their trap and losing your hard-earned money.
I initially made the booking through Samuel Letkhola, a supposed Travel Triangle Holiday Expert, and Arti, a Corporate Host Destination who arranges for hotel bookings. The package seemed attractive, so I went ahead with the booking. However, Samuel and Arti kept calling me repeatedly to pay the amount as soon as possible, claiming that the hotel room would not be available if I delayed. I had no choice but to pay INR9700 of INR*** as a booking amount for the trip through card.
The trouble started when they failed to share the driver details before the trip. I had to call them multiple times before leaving for Bangalore from Hyderabad. When we reached Bangalore airport, the driver was nowhere to be found. He finally arrived at 10:30 am, an hour and a half later than expected. As per the itinerary, we were supposed to go for the Bandipur Safari, but the driver took a long route and we reached the ticket counter after it had closed. We spoke to the trip coordinator, Mouin, from the local travel agency (Tripaway), and he promised to cover the safari on the last day of the trip. However, this turned out to be a lie.
The driver also took a long route to our hotel in Ooty, and we found ourselves in a spot with no light, no person, and no other cab. We were surrounded by darkness and the threat of wild animals. We finally reached the hotel at 10 pm, after a 12-hour journey from Bangalore. We missed out on all the other view points that were mentioned in the itinerary for the first day trip, including Ooty Lake and Botanical Garden, because of the delays caused by the driver.
On the second day, the driver asked us to pay the remaining trip amount of INR8000 before starting the trip. He also informed us that we had a total of 750 km free distance for our entire package, of which we had already covered 410 km on the first day. Once those remaining free km were spent, we would be charged extra with 10 INR per kilometer. He wasted 30 minutes on this discussion, and we paid him the money in cash without taking a receipt.
The driver dropped us at the railway station for the toy train to Coonoor, but the ticket counter was closed for the 12 pm train. We had to stand in the queue from 11 am to 2 pm and wait for the train. We reached Coonoor by 3 pm and looked for the driver as he was supposed to pick us up there. However, he arrived late, and we headed for Dolphin Nose and Tea Factory. On the way, he insisted on visiting some other view points so that he could increase the km distance and ask us for more money. He refused to take us to Sim Park, Golf Course, Dobadetta Peak, Wax Museum, and Rose Garden. We spoke to Mouin again, and he promised to cover those points on the next day, which never happened.
On the third and last day, the driver stopped and told us that it would take more than 4 hours to cover the remaining points, including Ooty Lake, Gardens, Dobadetta Peak, and many others. He also added that if we covered these places in Ooty and stopped for on the way places like Pykara Falls, Kamraj Sagar Dam, and other small view points, we would reach Bangalore by midnight. However, this turned out to be another lie. We had to speak to Mouin again for not staying committed to his words for covering all places on the last day of our trip. He had the audacity to ask us to reschedule our flight of 9 pm for the next day and give him extra INR*** as the fourth-day charges would apply after 10 pm. We asked the driver to get us to Bangalore airport before 9 pm, and he took a different route and asked us to pay extra for 35 km to travel back to his office. We had had enough and stopped the ride there and went to Bangalore airport on our own.
This trip was a complete nightmare, and I don't know how to act against these people. All their ratings and good reviews are fake, and I urge everyone to avoid falling for them. If you have the time, plan your trip on your own. Please contact me if you need more information.

Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle - No English Speaking Driver, Late Pick-Up, No AC, No Refund
I had planned a trip from Delhi to Mussoorie for Sunday and Monday. While searching on Google, I came across Travel Triangle and decided to send a request for information about their tour. Soon after, I received a call from one of their representatives and agreed to their offer. However, I had requested for a driver who could speak English, but my request was ignored.
I paid a part of the fee and was told to coordinate with the driver. When I called him, I realized that he couldn't speak English. I asked him to pick me up at 6.30 am on Sunday, but I didn't receive any update from him. I called him again, and he told me that he would pick me up in 30 minutes. However, an hour later, he told me something in Hindi, and I couldn't understand him. He then hung up on me.
I tried calling all the phone numbers I had from Travel Triangle, but no one answered. Finally, at 9.15 am, someone called me and told me that another driver would come in an hour. I asked for a discount since I was going to arrive later, but I was told that I needed to arrive at my destination first.
The driver finally arrived at 11.40 am, and the AC in the car wasn't working. The car was also overheated, which made the journey uncomfortable. I called Travel Triangle again to cancel and request a refund, but I was offered another driver in an hour. I refused since it was impossible to arrive in Mussoorie so late.
I then requested a refund via email, but Travel Triangle refused to refund me. I felt like I had been robbed by this company. The whole experience was frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend Travel Triangle to anyone.
Unprofessional and Unresponsive: My Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle
I recently used Travel Triangle to request a quote for a trip to Dubai, and unfortunately, my experience was not a positive one. I submitted my request twice, and both times I encountered issues with the communication and the quotes I received.
During my first attempt, I was bombarded with phone calls from executives who seemed unable to understand my requirements, despite them being clearly stated in my initial request. Although I was not able to answer all of the calls, I did attend a few, but ultimately decided to close the request due to the lack of progress.
For my second attempt, I specifically requested to be contacted only via email. However, the first quote I received was completely misaligned with my request, including flights and hotels despite my request for neither. When I replied to the quote asking for a revision, I received no help. I continued to request communication only via email, but for four days I received nothing but messages stating that they had tried to reach me. I responded to all of these emails, reiterating my preference for email communication, but to no avail.
Finally, an agent contacted me via WhatsApp, and I sent her a detailed email outlining my requirements. However, even after looping in her supervisor, I continued to receive random quotes that did not align with my request. I replied to the executive who had contacted me, providing examples of the random quotes I had received, but instead of acknowledging the mistakes made by his agents, he simply closed my request, citing a lack of communication.
Overall, I was highly disappointed with the unprofessional behavior I encountered while using Travel Triangle. It seems that the agents have no control over the quotes they provide, and are unwilling to customize them to meet the specific needs of their clients. Unless you are willing to settle for generic, high-priced quotes, I would not recommend wasting your time with this service.
Disappointed with Travel Triangle's Lack of Assistance During Covid-19 Situation
Hey there, it's Dristi Mehta and I wanted to share my experience with Travel Triangle.
I had booked a Kerala package for December 4th, 2021 for 5 days and 4 nights. However, due to the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Kerala, I decided to change my destination to Coorg for 8 days and 7 nights. I was traveling with my 1.8-year-old baby and didn't want to take any risks. I contacted Travel Triangle for assistance in changing my location, but unfortunately, Mr. Santosh Kumar did not provide any help. He didn't even receive my phone calls and only sent an email stating that cancellation charges would apply if we booked through Travel Triangle.
I was willing to bear the flight cancellation charges and transfer my paid amount to the next package on the same dates. However, Mr. Santosh Kumar informed me that I would have to pay a cancellation fee of Rs. 2000 per person, flight cancellation charges of Rs. 8000, and a cancellation charge of Rs. 750 per person from the travel agent. This meant that I would lose approximately Rs. 23,000 out of my package worth Rs. 36,000 per couple.
I was disappointed with the lack of understanding from Travel Triangle regarding the complexity of the situation with Covid-19 and my baby. They didn't provide any solution and only referred to their policies. This made me question the point of booking with Travel Triangle if they were not willing to take responsibility in case of any circumstances.
I would have preferred to book directly with a travel agent who is at least liable for something that goes wrong. I was willing to pay up to Rs. 1 lakh for both couples, and it wasn't even that the package I was selecting was lower in price. In contrast, I have received excellent service from Make My Trip and have never faced any such issues.
Overall, I would not recommend Travel Triangle based on my experience.

Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle and Himalaya Tours: A Review
Travel Triangle is a travel agency that we recently used to plan our team's tour to the Himalayas. We were excited to embark on this adventure, but unfortunately, our experience was not what we expected. The agency outsourced our tour to Himalaya Tours, and from the start, we faced numerous problems.
Firstly, the bus that was allotted to us was very old and in poor condition. We were promised an air-conditioned coach, but instead, we were provided with a non-functional AC vehicle. The suspensions were too weak, the wiper was not working, and the tires were old. This made our journey uncomfortable and unsafe.
To add to our troubles, the driver, Ajay, was extremely arrogant and uncooperative. He refused to stop for tea when we requested and took a long time to cover a short distance of 200 km from Gauwahati to Kaziranga. In the morning, he threatened to come late for our elephant rides as he had a fight with the hotel staff for dinner. This caused us a lot of stress and anxiety.
Moreover, the Himalaya Tours people who promised to block elephant rides gave up on their promise after we reached Kaziranga. We had to make individual efforts and buy tickets at a premium at 10 pm. The driver was also mumbling and complaining throughout the trip, making us feel uncomfortable.
During our trip to Dawiki, the engine of the bus got heated up, and we had to wait on the road with kids until it cooled down. The area was very dusty, and some of us got allergies and were bedridden for two days. We repeatedly asked for a replacement vehicle, but our requests were ignored.
On our way back from Cheerapunji, the vehicle's brake system failed, and we were stranded on the road for 2.5 hours. The driver arranged two Sumo vehicles for 18 people and luggage, but we had to adjust as they refused to provide another small vehicle. We missed some sightseeing places due to the driver's slowness, and we were constantly worried about reaching the airport on time.
Overall, our experience with Travel Triangle and Himalaya Tours was disappointing and stressful. We had tense moments throughout the trip due to the vehicle and the driver, making it a bad memory. We had proof for all the above statements, and we hope that the agency takes our feedback seriously and improves their services.
Slow Refund Process from Travel Triangle for Cancelled Trip Due to Covid-19
We recently booked a trip through Travel Triangle and unfortunately, due to Covid-19, our trip was cancelled. It has now been two months and we have yet to receive our refund. After reading through various social media posts, it seems that we are not the only ones experiencing this issue. We have been following up with the team, but their response time has been quite slow.
Our trip was scheduled for March 18th to March 22nd, and we had booked our Bangalore to Thailand trip on January 13th, 2020. The team was very persistent in following up with us for all of our instalments, with numerous messages, calls, and emails to ensure payment was made. However, due to the Covid emergency, our trip had to be cancelled.
We have been trying to contact Pooja Sharma, our lead, but her phone number is always switched off. We have been sending follow-up emails every week, but all we get in response is that the refund bills have been submitted to finance, but the authorities have yet to approve them. It has been two months, and we are starting to doubt whether we will ever receive our refund. Who are these authorities, and why is it taking so long for them to approve the refund?
We have even contacted Go Air, who confirmed that they have refunded the agency on March 5th. We have asked for proof of this refund so that we can proceed with further proceedings. We were also in contact with Rajat, who was coordinating our trip payment, but his phone number is no longer reachable, and it seems he has left the organization.
Nikita Aggarwal is now our contact person, but she has informed us that she has been moved to another department. She still assures us that the refund will be processed, but two months is a long time to wait for a refund.
We understand that it is crucial for Travel Triangle to provide a good experience for their customers, and we would appreciate a response. Our hard-earned money is at stake, and every day that passes by causes more doubt. We hope that this issue can be resolved soon.
Disastrous Goa Trip with Tripstring: A Complete Waste of Time and Money
I recently booked a 2 night 3 days package for my Goa trip on Travel Triangle's website. I was contacted by Tripstring travel agent who gave me a quotation of Rs. ***/-. Although it was quite expensive, I decided to go ahead with it as I wanted a hassle-free trip with my parents and kids. However, it turned out to be a complete disaster.
As the day of the tour approached, Tripstring started changing contact persons. First, it was Subhankar, then Himanshu, and then Anurag. They did not come for pick-up at the promised time, and we had to wait for 3 hours at the airport. We continuously called for 2 hours, but they kept promising that the driver would contact us in 5 minutes, but no driver contacted us. When we asked for driver details, they did not provide them. Anurag stopped answering our calls, and we had to contact the previous agent, Himanshu. He arranged 2-3 drivers, but each driver contacted us and demanded direct payment. As Tripstring was not confirming the payment, none of the drivers were ready to come for pick-up. Finally, after waiting for 3 hours, we requested one driver to pick us up from the airport, and we would pay him directly. After more than 3 hours, we got picked up from the airport, and then we went for lunch. The whole day was wasted, and we had gone through physical and mental torture. Our parents were tired, kids were hungry, and we could not do any sight-seeing. The driver kept complaining about Tripstring agents, and after he realized our genuineness, he did not take payment from us.
The deal was for 2 nights 3 days, but they provided a cab for sight-seeing only for 2 days, and out of all the listed places, they covered only 5 places. On the third day, they counted only for drop and did not count sight-seeing.
Tripstring totally messed up our trip, and we went through a big harassment. When we called Tripstring agent to inform them about what we had gone through, he misbehaved and told us that we were talking nonsense. He claimed that he provided a cab within 5 minutes and was not ready to accept mismanagement from their end.
None of us, including our parents and kids, were happy with the trip. I would never recommend this agent to anyone. The experience was a complete waste of time and money.
My Terrible Experience with TravelTriangle: Poor Customer Service and No Responsibility Taken
I want to share my experience with you about TravelTriangle. I booked my trip from Duniya Zamana (Via TravelTriangle) for 6N7D. I made all the payments in advance to TT. At first, everything looked good about them and TT, their reviews were also good, so I decided to book via TT for this travel agent.
However, everything went wrong on day 4 when the driver refused to give me service. He told me that the driver has not received any payment from the travel agent and hence he will not provide me the service. I was stuck in the hotel room thinking about what to do now. I received a call from my hotel manager, and to my surprise, he also said that he has not received any payment from the travel agent.
The hotel manager was not allowing me to leave the hotel without paying the amount. My schedule was to leave the hotel at 10.30 for Sagara Beach Resort, Kovalam. And now here I am stuck in a hotel trying to help myself what to do. I tried calling my agent almost 20 times. Nobody picked up my call. My agent's name was Krishna. I've called him like at least 10 times, at one time he picked up the call, said that he will look into it. After 2 hours, still no resolution.
After a lot of argument with the driver and hotel manager, they asked me to pay their dues (which should have been paid by my agent). I had no other option as I can not leave the hotel without paying the amount and the driver is denying the service because of the same. I had to pay for the hotel - 3750 and driver 8000.
Now, I booked my trip for 58,000. I paid to driver 8K and hotel 3.7K. So total = 58K+8K+3.75K = 69.75K. After this worst nightmare, I had to cancel my trip because I had no other option. If I wanted to go further, the driver was demanding more money (approx 5K more) and I was also not sure what if the agent has not made any payment to the next hotels as well.
I made all the video recordings of my experience with the hotel manager and with the driver. Please watch these below videos. I sent emails, calls, and so many messages to TT but from their side, not a single person solved my query. So, if you want to have the worst nightmare of your life, and want to spoil your trip then you should go ahead with TT.

In conclusion, I would not recommend TravelTriangle to anyone. They have poor customer service and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. It was a terrible experience, and I regret booking my trip through them.
Disappointing Honeymoon Experience in Thailand with Travel Triangle
Hey there,
I just wanted to share my experience with Travel Triangle and the agent they recommended for my recent trip to Thailand.
First off, I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the way things went down at Hotel 1, The Marina Phuket. When we arrived early in the morning, we were told that we couldn't check in until 2PM, even though I was never informed of this beforehand. When I called Harpreet, the agent, she told us to just roam around in the hot sun until then. It was really annoying and tiring after a late night flight. I had specifically asked Harpreet to arrange for honeymoon decorations and my wife's birthday celebration, but none of it was done and I had to take care of everything myself. The hotel itself was good, but waiting 4-5 hours to check in is just not acceptable.
Then there was Hotel 2, Aonang Paradise Krabi. When Harpreet suggested this hotel, I told her that the reviews and photos I had seen weren't up to my standards. But she insisted that I take it and even after I asked her to change it a few weeks later, she kept pushing me to keep it. The experience was horrible. The rooms were dirty and the towels were stinking. We had to use our own towels for daily use and only used one of theirs for the beach. The hotel was definitely not suitable for couples and was too shady at night. My wife was scared to walk alone at night.
Finally, there was Hotel 3, Pratunam Pavilion Bangkok. The hotel seemed decent, but the AC wasn't working properly and the TV wasn't working either. I'm currently sitting here at 10:49 PM with a technician trying to fix the AC. It's not my job to do this on my honeymoon.
Overall, I'm leaving Thailand with a terrible honeymoon experience and I'm not sure what Travel Triangle can do to compensate for it. I paid 76k for this trip and I don't see any value in booking with them again. Maybe the agent recommendation was bad, but either way, I'm just really annoyed.
Thanks,
Manmohan
Unexplored Trip - A Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience in Sikkim
I recently booked a Sikkim trip through Traveltriangle, and opted for a package from Unexplored Trip - https://unexploredtrip.com. Although the package was pricier than others, we believed that it would provide us with everything we needed for a hassle-free trip. However, we soon discovered that this was far from the truth.
The signs of bad service started as soon as we reached the airport. Our cab driver told us that he would arrive in 5 minutes, but we ended up standing in the sun for 2 hours. Although the cab service was decent overall, this experience left a bad taste in our mouths.
The hotel rooms that were allotted to us looked great on the itinerary, but when we arrived at the hotel, we were shocked to find that they were in horrible condition. The customer service person told us to adjust on the very first day of the trip, which made us regret booking this service in the first place. After a lot of calls and chats, they finally shifted us to another hotel, but this came with a struggle of waiting and traveling again at night in negative temperatures.
On the third day of our trip (Lachen), we were supposed to stay at an amazing hotel as per the itinerary. However, when we reached there, we were sent to some other hotel, which again sent us to some other hotel. Finally, they assigned us an empty hotel in a place with no person at reception, no hot water, a broken toilet, no wifi (had no network), no proper water pressure, no lock in the door, and a single blanket. A young helper/cleaner in the hotel, who had joined a day ago, said "It's my first day, I don't know anything". It was a horrible experience to stay there, and no one was picking up calls to even help. We were stuck at this place with a negative temperature and horrible service, feeling trapped and helpless.
The hotel experience was terrible, and they didn't provide anything as per the itinerary. The support we received was equally bad, with people switching off their phones, blocking us, and not picking up our calls in times of need. Instead of helping, they would say, "What can I do sir, it's peak time?" They didn't stick to the itinerary but told us that "you could have taken the better package". On insisting to stick to the package, they gave random reasons for why they couldn't do it. They even raised their voices just because we were not ready to "adjust" to whatever they wanted.
Overall, I would not recommend anyone to take this service. It was an unprofessional and horrible experience, and they basically lied about the itinerary and didn't deliver as promised.
Disappointing Experience with Travel Triangle and Golden Vacations: A Review
We had a trip to Sikkim last year which we booked through Travel Triangle. It was a 7-day trip through the vendor Golden Vacations. Unfortunately, we faced a lot of issues during our trip. Firstly, our trip was changed due to some climate issues, which is understandable. However, we were not informed about the changes until the respective dates of the excursions. This caused a lot of inconvenience for us.
We had booked all non-veg meals, but when we reached there, we were served only veg meals. We discussed this issue with Tamalika from Golden Vacations, who suggested that we buy our own meals and the money would be refunded. However, the vendor did not keep their promise and did not refund the money.
We also faced issues with the NathuLa pass charges. Due to poor communication between the Golden Vacations team, the pass could not reach us on time, and we missed the pass timings. We were not refunded the money for this either.
During the duration that we were supposed to travel to Lachung, we were asked to go to Namchi instead. When we reached Namchi, we found that our hotel was a lodge, which was not suitable for our family. We were then asked to go to another hotel, which was a very shady hotel with a reception that was a bar with drunk men sitting around. We did not feel safe there and did not roam around much in Namchi.
On our last day, we confirmed with Tamalika if we had any further payments to make, and she confirmed that we did not. However, the next morning, our hotel asked us to pay an exorbitant amount of 15k, which we had not been informed about. The vendor had also asked the driver of our car to hide from us, which made it difficult for us to check out or go back home. We were forced to pay the amount, and the vendor did not help us find a cab or an ATM to withdraw the money.
This kind of behavior towards a decent family with aged people was a horrifying experience. We were abused and harassed, and it made us cry and forget about the trip. We communicated with Golden Vacations through their email id, but they did not provide any satisfactory response.
We would not recommend Travel Triangle to anyone, and we will not book through them again. The amount of harassment we faced during our trip was unacceptable, and we hope that the vendor and Travel Triangle take responsibility for their actions and improve their services.
