Travelodge No tv I asked for a refund and I'm still waiting. 15 minutes after check in.

In Red Bluff CA. I checked in on Saturday 1/14/23. As soon as I got to my room I tried to turn the tv on and it didn't work. I called the desk and they told me they would send someone to my room. I waited a half hour. There was standing water on the floor, thick dust everywhere, so I went up to the office to return the key and ask for my money back. They said 3 to 5 buisness days it would be on my card. It's the 25th and I'm going over there again now. I want decent service and most of all I want my money back. I am a member but not anymore! I'll never stay at any of your hotels again!

Travelodge I was assaulted, racial discrimination, unsolicited aggression and wrongful eviction.

I was Evicted from the hotel, I paid almost £500 for, the manager instructed the police to Evict me and mentioned paying for the police services that she can do it and really Evicted and police harassed me without for warning. Said it’s also applicable to tenancy agreement which I have never experienced, l was looked down on all because she thinks I couldn’t afford a week at travelogue what a flaw. She mentioned most people come in here and lie without having a reservation just to sleep on the staircase which is unacceptable to me!. Was forced to give her my room number whilst I was scared for my life. Would like my money to be refunded before I take legal action. Was evicted on the 11/01/2023!. She threatened to call cops and she did.

Travelodge Hotel stay

Booked a room on New Years Eve until New years day. Upon entering room, carpet was dirty, lights were not working, locks broke on doors, safety issues! The tub looked like it was walked in with shoes. Took concerns down to front desk, staff barely could speak English, sent someone up to clean, they bring a toilet brush to clean tub. I'm making a complaint to code enforcement as well as the department of health! Person on duty, did not try to resolve issue. I work in Marriott hotel & we would never treat our guests as such or let alone give them a room in those conditions! We would of handled the situation in the favor of the guest! That hotel is like a trap house, ceiling leaking by elevator. Worse hotel experience!

Desired outcome: I would of like to be comp my money for the inconvenience, nothing was offered, no room change or nothing

Travelodge Travelodge edinburgh airport ratho station, postcode eh28 8qq

TRAVELODGE, EDINBURGH AIRPORT RATHO STATION, Arr. THU 29/12/22 for 2NTS. EH28 8QQ

On arrival on the 29th around 9.20pm with my 3 children the staff members were very unwelcoming and quite abrupt. My children were very excited as I made the last minute decision to book a wee break to visit a family member as a surprise. The woman behind the reception desk seemed to be annoyed with the noise of the kid’s laughing and joking.

When we got to the room we couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work which I paid for on the booking so my eldest daughter went down to the reception for help. I was a bit disappointed as only 2 devices could be connected via the travelodge wifi. As a result I had to use my own data and let my daughter log on to mine. It was pointless paying for the use of the travelodge Wi-Fi as I still had to use my own.

The bedroom what we were in was extremely dirty and didn’t have much in the room. As we arrived late I just wanted to get the kids settled as we had a busy day ahead the next day.

When I got up in the morning I went to have a shower and noticed the stains in the bath on the shower curtain even under the sink. The plug wasn’t attached to the bath. I have taken pictures which I will attach to this message. In the bedroom the curtains were hanging off the rail there was stains all on the walls skirting boards and on the switch next to the bed. The TV is far too small for the size of room. There was no iron, iron board, hairdryer, Not even the general items you get in most hotels! I’ve also taken pictures. I have came out in a rash on my neck and arms which I think is bite marks.

As a result I gathered our belongings and left. I couldn’t let my children nor myself stay any longer.

I did report this to the assistant manager on leaving and showed him the pictures that I’d taken. He couldn’t have been more apologetic. He documented my concerns and offered me a E voucher for the next time I’d like to stay which I refused as I certainly will not be going back.

I feel so disappointed that my children and myself had to experience this.

I expected better especially with me paying over £200 for 2 night and the extra for Wi-Fi .

I’ve never experienced anything like it in my life.

I would like to request a full refund for this horrendous experience.

Travelodge The state of the Travelodge during my stay on 19th December in Poole, Dorset.

The condition of the whole place was shocking, particularly our room. The carpet was worn, dirty and needed replacing. The toilet seat was unsafe. There was something on the roof and banged all night, preventing us from sleeping. The room was really poorly maintained, there were holes in the walls, it needed painting and everything looked neglected and required attention.

There were insufficient staff, it took a long time to check-in as there was no one at Reception and when we went to check out and wanted to express our concerns, the Manager was less than interested, once he conceded to actually attend the Desk.

Desired outcome: A refund please.

Travelodge Travelodge Drury Lane

I booked two rooms so I could meet up with my daughter who lives in Sweden for a Christmas celebration. When I arrived I was told the rooms were on different floors on either side of the hotel. I was told by the unhelpful check in person that there was nothing I could do about it. We’ve used this hotel on several occasions in the past but won’t again. No attempt to help us. If we book 2 rooms of course we want them together!

Travelodge Travelodge Wembley Central

A friend and I booked into this hotel on the 17th November for three nights. When we arrived there was no wifi. Nobody told us there wasn’t we just had to find out. No wifi by the next day even though we had paid for 3 days. Apologies and said they would refund but hasn’t happened.

Breakfast was appalling. I could have had a game of baseball with the scrambled egg. Everything was overcooked. I complained so they asked the chef to redo the egg. The Second batch was as bad as the first. No refund offered. Breakfast was [censored]e every day with no gf options. Our “Keys” failed 3 to 4 times EVERY SINGLE DAY! We spent so much time going back and forwards as we couldn’t get in our room. No cleaning of the room despite our asking. No clean cups, all old one from the day before left dirty. Bin was full of dust from the hoover. Bed never made. Dust in the shelves. We are Both asthmatics! Honestly, I can’t tell you how utterly dreadful this place was. I don’t blame the staff they were doing the best they could except for the chef who has no business even being in a kitchen as he can’t cook anything! Utter [censored]e. I would like my money back for the whole three days and an apology and confirmation that you will do something to improve this. You should be ashamed to call this a hotel.

Date of stay 28th and 29th November booking reference [protected] I have saved a lot of money to book our one trip this year so when booking a two night stay I was shocked that the room wasn’t replenished with clean cups or towels and bed not made. Travelodge Price fluctuation

Good morning

I am writing to inform you that I am disappointed with the amount in which your price increased.

My partner Mr Dean Norgate and myself stayed at the Travelodge in Reading, Whitley on Friday 25th November.

We was visiting a gravely Ill relative, upon visiting we realised we may have to stay another night,

As we were very satisfied with your accommodation from the cleanliness, helpful staff and room we thought we would extend our stay to a second night.

When looking your website we were very confused at the alarming rate you price had increased, we paid £39.99 for the first night then your website showed an increase to £76.99. We understand this could have been increased because the following night was a Saturday but have checked the website for the following week and the prices fluctuate dramatically.

Travelodge Hotel room

I am absolutely disgusted with a Travel lodge I booked today 26-11-2022 it’s the London Kingscross Royal Scot

The rooms are nothing like the photos on the website when we booked

Both beds are dirty

The carpet is disgusting

The toilet flush is wobbly and take ages for the Cistern to fill back up

Cracks in tiles on floor

Furniture is so badly chipped

There is a draft from the window

In my honest opinion I would not let my dog stay in this place we have tried to find another jot but has proven difficult have complained to reception the on duty manager was so rude he couldn’t even be bothered to come speak to us

Travelodge Room

Staying in Travelodge Walton on Thames. Arrived at room, no heating, no coffee etc, no cups., no toilet paper. Freezing cold. Air conditioner not working.

Complained at Reception no Manager available and a young girl receptionist visibly upset because other guests were complaining. She broke down and I suggested she went to sit down for 5 mins. Late last night heating started working but there was a banging coming from next door, which continued all night. No sleep. Complained this morning and it was looked at. Arrived back to room this evening banging still happening. Receptionist said no one available to speak to. No other rooms available. Nothing can be done except perhaps turn off the air conditioner unit next door. Which I had to do. The noise stopped, but then guests have now started complaining that they have no heating. Again receptionist upset with no one to help or make decisions. She is in no position go get me a room at another hotel. Banging has now restarted. Help absolute nightmare. I am here for the week and no compensation offered. Terrible customer service.

Travelodge Booking tadcaster ls24 8eq - 3 x rooms booked on 15/6/2022

Booking Confirmations [protected]; [protected]; [protected] - 5/11/2022, vacate 6/11/2022

Hi

in reference to the above booking for 3 rooms at £105.99 per room paid I full on 15/6/2022 to attend a family wedding. We arrived at 9 am and had to be at the wedding for 11.15 am, were advised our rooms were not ready which is fine, would collect our keys when returning at 11 pm.

On our return, was advised by the receptionist that 1 room was available, and he would check for availability for Rebeccah Wood (our daughter)? This is NOT acceptable, we booked and paid in full almost 5 months previously. The receptionist tried left us to check with his keys, other rooms to see if they were available, until finally finding a room available after we waited at reception after such a wonderful day with our family, which completely caused us unavoidable stress, and concern at finding alternative accommodation, at gone midnight by this time, in the middle of a remote rural area.

We were advised by the receptionist that many people had changed rooms and it was over booked and apologised, however, this is not good practice or professional to almost turn customers away, after booking in advance and paying, in these circumstances.

Additionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, my daughter & husband Joanna Jones 3 days prior to the scheduled booking date, were advised they had to work, tried changing the booking to either, an alternative date which for every other date available over the next 12 months, was £60. When asked if they could be refunded the difference or book for 2 days and pay Travelodge additional monies to make up the difference of the second date (so they wouldn't lose any monies for the first booking) were advised NO.

We understand there are policies however, they did offer to increase the booking days to ensure Travelodge received further income instead of losing money. Joanna stayed at the Travelodge the day before the wedding & travelled back to Manchester after the wedding for work.

These facts said, I would like your comments please as hopefully you can understand our disappointment and upset, as we use Travelodge very often and especially after the recent events of the last few years, this time was special to us.

I hope you understand our feelings s we are aware and understand that events happen to cause issues, but it's about how they are3 put right that is important.

Desired outcome: That said, can you please consider the circumstances, and we would like to ask for a full refund, your response would be very much appreciated?Thank you and Kind RegardsKay Wood - 182 Greenside Lane, M43 7UR

Travelodge They took my money, twice. No booking booking confirmation.

Today I tried to book a night at Penrith Travelodge. I entered my details and card details. I clicked the SMS confirmation box. No SMS or email received so I tried again. Again, no confirmation. Logging in as me there was no record of my booking on the site. I checked my bank app and the money had left twice.

I called the premium rate customer care number. The chap at the other end could not find any record of any bookings or transactions but was happy to take another payment if I wished to book the room. I refused to pay a third time!

I called the bank to attempt to block the transactions to be told this couldn't be done after the money had left.

I found a freephone contact for customer services, via a third party website. Weird. Why does this not appear on their official site?

I called this and spoke to another man who could not find any transactions and did not appear to wish to hear the transaction numbers given me my the bank.

He directed my to tiny. one/travelodge which did not appear to serve any purpose.

I eventually found a way to email about my complaint and have received acknowledgment that it has arrived and shall be dealt with in up to 5 days.

Not a lot of help for tomorrow night.

Desired outcome: Refund x 2. An apology. An explanation.

Travelodge Everything

Went to spend 4 days,3 nights with friends in Deltona Fla. They had suggested Travelodge. Worst mistake I have ever made. We have gone to many hotels, this one in Deltona was the absolute WORSE!

Checked in late Thursday night, due to late flight. Left Friday morning, gone all day. When we came back; bed wasnt made, garbage not emptied, no new towels. I went to office, young kid told me he was sorry, would make sure the next day would be taken care of. Went to use hotel poool, was told city of Deltona closed it.

Left early Saturday morning, gone all day. When we got back? You guessed it, nothing had occured to room. Went to office, same young kid. Now we are told contract is for them to only clean 1 outta 7 days. Are you kidding me?

Desired outcome: Personally, they should close this location. If they cant live up to bare minimum expectations of a traveler. I'm sure this wont happen. But something should be done. All my friends now Know of this experience.

I am writing to inform you that not only do I intend to DENY Liability But i intend to take the matter further and claim from Travelodge Gainsborough for attempting to defraud a customer under false accusations (defamation of character)

.I will be contacting Consumer rights and the Ombudsman to see what I can do.

It seems obvious to me that a worker smoked in the toilet after my party left.Or its just an outright lie propagated to fleece customers.Thus far and no more.I use travelodge quite a bit that is going to come to a grinding halt.

The facts of the matter are as follows: my Son in law and Daughter stayed with their two young sons 7 and 4 years old. Neither of them Smoke nor have ever smoked.The only visitor they had was my EXwife who went there to pick them up.Also a non smoker for more than 20 years.

To say I am very angry would be a gross understatement.

While I am on this topic a few calls to make bookings on their special rate numbers cost me £40.If I don't receive a written apology from Travelodge hotels within 28 days I will be exposing this scam to the public MEDIA .Please confirm when you receive this email

Travelodge travelodge in leatherhead

This is mr b willetts I book a two day stay at Traverlodge Leatherhead with my wife and also my sisters and a friend Denice plus my son and his friends stay there also we book in advance and where coming from Cornwall we book the two nights because it was my son wedding day very special day for all of us,,

we managed to get there and get are selfs settled in to the room number 225 my sister 115 both rooms where not clean and cup were filthy and kettle was very dirty and the toilet was not cleaned at all floor was not hoovered and bits all over the floor in both room was bad so I went to complain downstairs to the lobby at the checkout point the we three people there and I told them and just said sorry I asked for another rooms but they had none sorry so I have taken pictures of the room and I with complain to the manger in the morning in which I did she said I am sorry I give you a refund I said ok then that was done when back to my wife and pick up are baggages and told we can say a second night and we pay for two but because we had a refund you cannot say my sister and friend did not get a refund and my son dad did not get a refund also we are very anger with management of this travelodge and are stay we came from Cornwall thinking the was a very special day look forward to my son wedding day I with show you the picture of the room and the mess it was in I would like some compensation apart from the reimbursement regards mr b willetts

Travelodge Biohazardous room.

I paid £188.49 for a room and stayed for one night: 30.07.22 at Euston Cenral Travelodge.

I am a cleaning operative so I know what the standard's should be and I'm utterly shocked and disgusted with my state of my room and building. It is evident that the room wasn't cleaned or prepared for our stay, there was:

.Makeup and bodily fluid stains (blood) on the bed sheets and pillows.

.Thick dust, coffee splatters, water stains on the skirting boards.

.Shoe marks and stains on the wall under the desk.

.Head board thick with dust.

.Windowsill thick with dust.

.Undeath the bathroom sink was thick with dust.

.Shower was thick with grime in the corners and mold.

.Cupboard was dusty.

.We had no fridge so our food went to waste.

.3 hrs sleep because the bed was hard and uncomfortable.

.Breakfast had hair in it and was unedible, it gave me an upset stomach which we did get refunded.

.The building was dirty, run down and stank of damp, mold and dogs.

Awful service from reception and the company. We was flat out refused a refund from reception and didn't even get an apology - She lied and said they didnt do refunds.

Travelodge gave me a typical customer service response, completely ignored my request for a refund and went on ahead and issued me a £70 voucher for another stay in another travellodge and doing so without me aggreeing to the voucher. This voucher isn't even half of what I paid for or agreed to. They have continued to ignore my emails and ran off with my money.

I never want to stay in a travelodge again.

Travelodge Hotel accommodations Travel Lodge 38 Antelope Blvd Red Bluff Ca 96080

When we arrived no one was at desk & door locked. There was a note on door with #to call. Took them 10min. Upon opening door only pillows in middle of the bed, bedding crumbled in chair, trash in bathroom 1/2 full can on table and trash in front area. I have the pics to prove it. Had asked for bottom floor. Was told they were all dirty. So was the room we were giving.

Desired outcome: I would like a response and be refunded the total of the room plus the cost of having to pay for being relocated to a different location

I have already sent in a complaint. I believe I forgot to add the date of the complaint it was for the night of July 31, 2022. We around 8:30 pm but was not relocated to another hotel until after 10-10:30 pm. And to top things off while waiting to be relocated not only did my husband loose his brother(the reason for the trip) but also his dog that night.

Travelodge Travelodge at 539 E Absecon Blvd, Absecon NJ

Good morning,

My name is Renata Ahmed and I had the most horrible experience this weekend at Travelodge hotel at Absecon, NJ. We stayed from July29-Juny 31, 2021.

I traveled with my 2 kids to get away since my daughter is very sick and just wanted her to relax before our stay in the hospital.

Pictures on the website are not even close to how the hotel really is. VERY VERY VERY dirty!

The Room looked decent however the air conditioner was making unbearable loud noise (come and go) the entire night. I made a video.

I approached the front desk and kindly asked them to send someone to look at it because we didn't sleep most of the night. It would come and go.

We went out with kids on the beach and boardwalk since it was supposed to be a relaxing fun time.

When we came back the front desk person saw me and didn't mention a word so I assumed he did what he promised and sent someone to look at it. It was late.

When we came to the room. It was WORSE! to top it off my room phone was not working too. Kids went to bed and I literally couldn't leave them in this 'hotel' alone even for a sec. I didn't feel safe.

In the morning on Sunday there was a different person at the front desk.

I asked him if anyone looked at the unit and he told me: "No, because the person was a little bit sick"

They saw me with kids. Why didn't they offer to change the room or just tell me that no one tried to fix it?

I would NOT take that room for free, not even to mention that I paid $616 for 2 nights.

Please help me resolve this matter before I contact BBB because my frustration is beyond words.
