Warning: Truelancer is Not a Trustworthy Platform - My Negative Experience
I recently had a negative experience with Truelancer, and I want to share my thoughts with others who may be considering using this platform. I was using Truelancer as an employer, and I had accumulated a significant amount of money in my Truelancer wallet. Unfortunately, I made a mistake and accidentally added some money to my wallet while paying one of my freelancers. When I tried to withdraw the money that I had mistakenly deposited, my account was suspended without any notice or explanation.
I have tried to contact customer support multiple times, but I have not received any response. Instead, I have been receiving messages on my phone from different numbers, asking me to pay more money to unlock my account and withdraw my funds. This behavior is unacceptable, and it is clear to me that Truelancer is not a trustworthy platform.
I want to warn others to stay away from Truelancer. It is not worth the risk of losing your hard-earned money to scammers who are only interested in taking advantage of unsuspecting users. If you are looking for a reliable freelancing platform, I recommend that you look elsewhere. There are many other options available that are much more reputable and trustworthy.
In conclusion, I urge anyone who is considering using Truelancer to think twice before doing so. This platform is not worth the risk, and there are many other options available that are much safer and more reliable. Don't make the same mistake that I did - stay away from Truelancer and protect your money and your reputation.
Terrible Experience with Truelancer: Unprofessional Co-ordinator and Poor Freelancer Protection
I had a really bad experience with Truelancer. The co-ordinator didn't understand my job requirement and then blamed me for it, even though the project details were crystal clear. I was really frustrated because I didn't want a refund, I just wanted a change in project co-ordinator. When I wrote to them about this, they refunded me the money. But what's the point of that? It's just hush hush money. It's ridiculous.
To make matters worse, they miscommunicated the job details to the freelancer and I found out two months later that they were never paid or refunded on their subscription. I released 50% of the payment for partial work and they should have at least gotten that, regardless.
I had to recreate the job post and then send the freelancer another sum of money. It was a real hassle and I felt like Truelancer didn't protect its freelancers at all. As a hirer, I was really disappointed with their practices. If they treat their freelancers like this, it reflects poorly on my brand too.
Honestly, I think Truelancer should just close down already. It's not worth the hassle and the headache.
Truelancer Review: A Terrible Experience with Scammers and Fake Reviews
My experience with Truelancer was terrible! I encountered a lot of scammers on this platform who automatically rejected my project proposals. It seemed like they had a system in place to generate fake reviews that didn't reflect the true opinions of users. I can't rely on this platform anymore.
At first, they convinced me to become a member with special offers from Nancy. After I bought the membership, she promised to give me a lot of work, but then she stopped responding to my messages. She only said sorry and told me that there were issues with my profile. Despite this setback, I tried my best to get projects on my own.
Things were going well until Truelancer's Nancy and Khusboo unexpectedly blocked my account and stole my money. They took around 2 lakh, which is equivalent to 2700 dollars. I found out that both of them were non-technical persons. Khusboo blocked my account, and they both kept threatening me.
This platform is a total scam! I don't trust it anymore. They suspended my account and took my remaining balance. This website needs to be held accountable for their actions.
I have all the screenshots of Nancy and Khusboo threatening me. It's a shame that Truelancer has become a breeding ground for scammers. I wouldn't recommend this platform to anyone.
Beware of Truelancer: Poor System and Support Staff for Freelancers
Truelancer is not a good website to use for freelancers. I had a problem logging into my account a few days ago and it showed me a message saying "User wrong user credentials". I sent a message to their support team to fix the issue, but they did not reply. My old account URL was truelancercom/freelancer/laxminarayan108.
Then I registered with the same email ID and it was successful. They provided me with a new profile truelancercom/freelancer/laxminarayan46. In my old account, I had 8 reviews and there may be some funds in there. When I asked for my old account, they did not email me anything and told me that their system does not allow creating 2 accounts with 1 email ID. But I have proof because all mail conversations are present on my email ID.
I tried to contact their support team member named Prathamesh Subhash Nehe supportattruelancer.com twice a week, but he did not have time to look into my issue and fix it and provide me with access to my old account. Currently, I only have 8 reviews, but if I had a good number of reviews and funds in my account, then I would lose all of it and they would not care about it.
So, I would like to warn everyone to beware of using Truelancer as they do not have a good system or good support staff to solve your issues.
Truelancer Review: Sneaky Sales Tactics and Lack of Transparency in Leads Services
I recently had an experience with Truelancer and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. As an architectural designer based in Ahmedabad, I decided to try out their monthly package for leads services, as recommended on their website. However, as soon as I signed up, I received a call from one of their representatives, urging me to upgrade to a yearly package if I wanted to get proper projects. This seemed like a sneaky way to get more money out of me.
To make matters worse, I did not receive a single work throughout the entire package. Truelancer does not allow you to directly contact the client, and the client cannot contact you directly either. This is like trying to diagnose a patient without meeting them or examining them - it's just strange. Truelancer always remains in between with the client and the architect to gain commission, and they want to know how much fees you take from the client and how you deal. It feels like they are ruling your own business.
What's more, Truelancer does not declare up to how many architects they share the same lead, and they don't declare who finally gains the project. There is no system to crosscheck if the lead is genuine or not, and there is no transparency at all. It's a cheater company, and I would advise anyone not to spend their hard-earned money on their trap.
Overall, my experience with Truelancer was disappointing and frustrating. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for leads services. It's better to find other platforms that are more transparent and trustworthy.
Truelancer.com Review: A Nightmare Experience for Freelancers - Stay Away!
Truelancer.com is a website that I would not recommend to anyone. As a freelancer, I was excited to join the platform and offer my web development services to potential clients. However, my experience with Truelancer was nothing short of a nightmare.
From the very first day, I started receiving spam calls from the Truelancer team, urging me to upgrade to their annual PRO MEMBERSHIP. At first, I was hesitant, but they kept exaggerating the benefits of the membership, which eventually convinced me to opt for it.
I was working on a project worth $500, and SUMIT SINGH was the project coordinator assigned to me by Truelancer. Upon completion of the project, the client approved it, and I was supposed to receive $500 minus the Truelancer fee. However, to my surprise, SUMIT SINGH deducted 15% of the project budget, leaving me with only $425. I was shocked because, as a PRO member, I was supposed to pay only 8% in fees. When I contacted their customer support, they told me that the coordinator could deduct their fee apart from Truelancer's fee, which was not mentioned anywhere in their rules and regulations.
Despite this unprofessional behavior, I decided to work on another project worth $1400, and once again, SUMIT SINGH was assigned as our project coordinator. As expected, he charged me 15% of the project budget, leaving me with only $1190. I requested a payout of this amount to my account, but the next day, I found out that my account was banned, and I was scammed by Truelancer.
I lost $100 in membership fees, $1400 in project money, and $500 in wages paid to my developer team. To make matters worse, SUMIT SINGH robbed me of extra commission.
I am disappointed that such scamming websites are still running in India, and I wonder what the Indian government is doing about it. In conclusion, I would advise anyone looking for freelance work to stay away from Truelancer.com.
Truelancer: A Fake and Shady Platform Run by Con Artists and Mafia
Truelancer is a platform that is causing a lot of trouble for both companies and freelancers. It is a fake and a rip-off, run by con artists and mafia. These criminals are stealing money from companies and freelancers alike, and blaming the freelancers for it. However, the truth is that the freelancers never receive any money. The people who work at Truelancer are manipulating the rates according to their convenience, and their software can block you if you try to send your contact information to the freelancers. They also don't want you to communicate with the freelancers, which is very suspicious.
As a software engineer, I know exactly what they are doing. They have written a software that is monitoring the activity of the companies and the activities of the consultants. This software is displaying something to the companies and displaying something else to the freelancers. This is a very shady practice, and it is clear that they are trying to cheat both companies and freelancers.
I think they have also hired some people to write good reviews about their company. This is a very common practice among companies that are trying to hide their criminal activities. They want to make it look like they are a legitimate company, but the truth is that they are run by mafia. It looks like the CEO might be an ex-mafia guy, which is very concerning.
Investors should be very careful when investing in this company. Their investments will be stolen and wiped out very soon. The criminals who run this company will eventually get caught, and their CEO and employees will be thrown into prison for many years. It is only a matter of time before this happens.
I am calling on journalists and the media to expose the criminality of these criminals. They have hired other criminals to write good reviews about their company, and journalists should investigate their criminal activities. It is time to put an end to this criminal enterprise.
Warning: Do Not Work with Neha Gupta on Truelancer - My Experience and Review
I had a project for a carsharing site and I decided to give it to Neha Gupta on Truelancer. We agreed on a fixed price and timeline of 3 months. Neha started working on the project in April 2018, but it's now November 2018 and the page is still not functional. There are basic things that don't work, like email notifications for signing up, registration, and ordering. The pictures are also bad and can't be centered properly. It's not possible to choose from a checkbox for renting a car for 1, 2, or 3 days. I asked Neha to add subpages many times, but she didn't want to do it. She was also unable to do standard domain redirection at https://.
Neha couldn't or didn't want to set up the SMTP server for email conversations. Many things, such as payment gateways, ordering processes, and uploading photos during the ordering process, couldn't be tested until the basic things on the site were fixed. Neha exceeded the deadline by 4 months and the site is still incomplete. The logo on the site is small and smudgy, especially in Internet Explorer.
I don't recommend working with Neha. She gave my work to other people and I wouldn't give her anything besides a WordPress site for $10. I warn everyone not to be fooled by the orders and the amount you have in your profile. I lost a lot of money and have a page that can't be used.
I also contacted Sumit from the Truelancer support team, who was supposed to be the guarantor for my money. I messaged him over 100 times and he only reacted to 3 of them. He said he would solve the problem and it would be repaired within 24 hours, but he never communicated with me again. I don't trust them and I advise everyone not to give them money in advance. Only pay after all the work has been uploaded.
This is the reality and fact of my experience with Neha and Sumit. Don't be robbed by their words and promises.
Beware of Scams on Truelancer: My Experience with Optimum Recruit Limited
I recently made a profile on Truelancer, a site for freelancers to find work. I was searching for a job as a translator and came across an offer from a person named Jason from the USA. He said he needed a freelance translator and asked me to contact him on WhatsApp at a specific number. I did as he asked and he started asking me about the languages I spoke and if I had any experience in translation. He then sent me a document with the logo of Optimum recruit company detailing the project and asked if I was interested in accepting it. I accepted the job, which involved translating 20 images for $550, but first, I had to pay a $50 refundable insurance fee.
I didn't pay much attention to the fact that the company was situated in the UK. I had five days to complete the job, which I did, and they gave me an email address to which I was supposed to send the translations. The email address had a typo, saying rUcruit instead of rEcruit. They thanked me for the translation and told me to wait 2-4 days for payment. However, they then sent me a message saying there was an issue during the payment transaction and that I needed to chat with the project director for more information. They said the transaction should be made on PayPal and that I hadn't submitted any means of identification.
They asked me to send a national ID card or driving license and a refundable sum of $300 to connect my PayPal account with their Citibank payment system. I reached out to the general director of the project, who gave me a specific number to contact. I sent my ID, but then they asked for another payment of $300, which made me suspicious. I told them I didn't have the money, and they said they could help me out and that I needed to pay at least $150-200 USD. This happened yesterday.
Today, the person I contacted first told me I could pay $80-100 USD because it wasn't my fault they didn't tell me earlier. I gave them my ID, but I'm almost 100% sure they are pretending to be Optimum Recruit Limited, the company they claimed to be.
Overall, my experience with Truelancer has been disappointing. I thought I had found a legitimate job opportunity, but it turned out to be a scam. I would advise others to be cautious when accepting job offers from unknown individuals and to thoroughly research the company before agreeing to anything.
Review of Truelancer: Good and Bad Experiences with Freelancers on the Site
I gotta say, Truelancer is a pretty decent site for finding freelancers. I've had some good experiences with it, but also some not-so-good ones. Let me tell you about my experiences.
First off, the good stuff. Posting projects on Truelancer is easy-peasy. You'll get a ton of proposals, and some of them are actually pretty well-written. I've worked with some great freelancers on the site who got the job done quickly and without any fuss. Payment was also a breeze. I mean, who doesn't love a hassle-free, secure payment process?
But then came the bad stuff. I had two pretty stressful issues in a week. The first one was when a freelancer couldn't submit the box to end the project and release her payment, which was held in escrow. Every time she hit the completion box, a money request box surfaced on my side. It was a real headache, let me tell you. Eventually, after nearly two days, the right box came and she was able to close the project and receive payment. It was a real nail-biter, but we got through it.
The second issue was much more serious. I was rehiring a former freelancer and sent him the request. I was sent to PayPal to deposit the money required into the safe deposit, but I received an error message saying something about the website's hosting. PayPal took the money from my account, but the funds were nowhere to be seen. The project was just a proposal on my freelancer's workstream. No notification from Truelancer, no money in the safe deposit, and none in my Truelancer account. It was a real nightmare. I was worried that if this happens with smaller amounts, what's to stop it from happening to larger amounts? I want my freelancer to start work because the project is time-sensitive, but I'm not willing to risk depositing more money after the first lot went missing.
Despite these issues, I still think Truelancer is a decent site. There are some reviews out there that slam the quality of work that the Truelancer freelancers are returning, but I think that's partly on the employer. If you want to see how well a freelancer can work, run a competition and ask for small samples. Also, really read through the freelancer's feedback. You can quickly get a feel for who is going to turn in decent work and who is likely to send you a copy-pasted Wikipedia page.
Most of the freelancers on Truelancer are Indian and Pakistani, and I gotta say, I found some extremely talented freelancers who are Indian and Pakistani. I didn't expect C2 level English from them, but their work needed a light edit, and overall I was extremely impressed with the quality of work that they turned in. They really went above and beyond. I'd give the freelancers that I worked with a 5/5.
I currently have a support ticket lodged with Truelancer, and I'll add an update when they reply and let you know how effective they were at resolving my issue. But based on the quality of work my freelancers have turned in, and knowing how customer service addresses issues, I'd recommend Truelancer to anyone looking for an easy way to find, hire, and work with competent freelancers.

Terrible Experience with Truelancer: Poor Quality Freelancers and No Client Protection
Truelancer is a website where you can find freelancers to help you with your projects. However, I have had a terrible experience with this platform. The freelancers on Truelancer are of poor quality and there is no quality check on who joins the portal. This means that you could end up with someone who is not qualified to do the job you need.
Furthermore, the customer service on Truelancer is terrible. They do not provide any protection for delays or blackmailing of clients. This means that if a freelancer decides to delay your project or blackmail you for more money, you are on your own.
To make matters worse, some of the freelancers on Truelancer are actually blackmailers themselves! They will threaten to delay your project or not complete it unless you pay them more money. This is unacceptable and shows that Truelancer does not care about the safety and security of their clients.
Overall, I would not recommend using Truelancer for your freelance needs. The quality of the freelancers is poor, the customer service is terrible, and there is no protection for clients. Save yourself the headache and find a better platform to hire freelancers.
Unreliable Payment and Poor Support: My Experience with Truelancer as a Freelancer
Truelancer is a platform where you can find work as a freelancer, but my experience with them has not been good. After completing a project for a client, I expected to see the payment in my wallet, but it's been days and I still can't see the money. I tried to contact their support team, but they hang up on me when I call and they don't respond to my emails. It's frustrating because I worked hard on the project and I deserve to be paid for my time and effort.
Aside from the payment issue, I also found the platform to be confusing and difficult to navigate. It took me a while to figure out how to bid on projects and communicate with clients. The interface could use some improvement to make it more user-friendly.
Overall, I would not recommend Truelancer to other freelancers. The payment issue and lack of support are major red flags. There are other platforms out there that are more reliable and easier to use.
Truelancer Review: A Complete Scam and Fraudulent Company - Beware!
I recently posted a project on Truelancer, but unfortunately, it was not completed and now my money is stuck. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by this company. It is a complete scam and fraudulent company. I would not recommend anyone to post any project on this platform.
I am now filing my complaint with CBI, Delhi police, PMO, Delhi Govt and my attorney will go to court. It is very frustrating to deal with such unprofessionalism and dishonesty. I hope that my complaint will be taken seriously and that justice will be served.
I urge everyone to be cautious when using Truelancer. It is important to do your research and read reviews before posting any project. I wish I had done so before using this platform. It is a lesson learned for me.
In conclusion, Truelancer is a scam and fraudulent company. Do not post any project on this platform. If you have had a similar experience, I encourage you to file a complaint with the relevant authorities. Let us work together to put an end to such unethical practices.

However ComplaintsBoard has detected that:
- While Truelancer has a high level of trust, our investigation has revealed that the company's complaint resolution process is inadequate and ineffective. - Truelancer protects their ownership data, a common and legal practice. However, from our perspective, this lack of transparency can impede trust and accountability, which are essential for establishing a credible and respected business entity.
Unreliable and Lacking Customer Support: My Experience with Truelancer
because they are not reliable. I had a bad experience with them and I regret using their platform. The freelancer I hired did not complete the work as promised and I was left with no choice but to cancel the project. However, Truelancer did not have a system in place to make partial payment for the work that was done. This was frustrating because I had already paid the full amount upfront.
Furthermore, when I tried to contact the admin for assistance, they did not respond. It was as if they did not care about my issue. This lack of customer support is unacceptable and shows that Truelancer does not value their clients.
If you are looking to outsource your work, I would recommend using other platforms such as Freelancer or Upwork. These sites have better systems in place to protect both the client and the freelancer. They also have better customer support and are more reliable.
In conclusion, I would not recommend using Truelancer for outsourcing your work. They do not have a reliable system in place and their customer support is lacking. It is better to use other platforms that are more trustworthy and have better systems in place.
Disappointing Experience with Truelancer: Poor Dispute Handling and Service
I gotta say, my experience with Truelancer wasn't the best. I had some issues with my freelancer, but eventually, we were able to sort things out. However, when it came to retrieving my 10 dollars back from a milestone, it was a whole different story. It took over a week and 13 emails back and forth before I finally got my money back. Talk about frustrating!
Overall, I have to say that Truelancer isn't the best site when it comes to handling disputes or services. It's a real waste of time when you choose someone to work with and they don't deliver what you wanted. I would definitely recommend staying away from Truelancer if you're looking for a hassle-free experience.
Mixed Experience with Truelancer: A Freelancer's Perspective
So, I tried out Truelancer for some content writing work and I gotta say, it was a bit of a mixed bag. On the one hand, I did get paid for my work, which is always a plus. But on the other hand, the client wasn't happy with what I wrote and got a refund without even telling me first. That was a bit of a bummer.
I also noticed that Truelancer seems to be more focused on protecting the clients than the freelancers. If you're a freelancer looking for work, you might want to look elsewhere. This platform is really more for clients who need work done.
Personally, I prefer using Upwork, Guru, and Freelancer for my freelancing needs. They seem to be more balanced in terms of protecting both clients and freelancers. But hey, that's just my two cents.
Truelancer Review: A Cheating Company That Needs to Be Held Accountable
I recently had an experience with Truelancer, and it was not a pleasant one. I had completed work for a client, and they had agreed to pay me for my services. However, when I requested payment, Truelancer did not release my payment and even went as far as blocking my account. This was extremely frustrating, as I had also worked on two other projects where I had spent 5000 rs, and Truelancer had taken that money as well.
In my opinion, Truelancer is a cheating company that needs to be removed from Google and face consequences for their fraudulent behavior. It is unacceptable for a company to take advantage of hardworking individuals who are simply trying to earn a living. I urge the government to take action against Truelancer and hold them accountable for their actions.
Overall, my experience with Truelancer was a negative one, and I would not recommend using their services. It is important to be cautious when working with online platforms and to do your research before committing to any projects.
Truelancer.com Review: Beware of Scam Artists and Unprofessional Developers
artists and unprofessional developers. I was lured in by the promise of finding quality freelancers from the USA, but it turns out that the website is actually based in India. This is a major red flag and should have been disclosed upfront.
To make matters worse, I had a terrible experience with a developer who delayed my project by 71 days. I had to file a complaint with PayPal to try and get my money back, but the admin at Truelancer.com made it incredibly difficult for me to do so. It was a frustrating and stressful experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
Overall, I would not recommend using Truelancer.com for any job or project. It's a scam website that preys on unsuspecting clients and freelancers. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and look elsewhere for your freelance needs.
Truelancer: A Platform for Cheats and Thieves - My Personal Experience
!
I had a bad experience with Truelancer. I was an employer on the site and when my client finished the job, I wanted to release the payment. However, my account was blocked and the money was stolen. I couldn't contact the worker because exchanging emails is not allowed. They were too scared to admit that my account was blocked, but I couldn't get in and couldn't access the work of previous workers I paid for. Customer service promised to get back to me, but they never did. These people are cheats!
Truelancer Review: A Breeding Ground for Copied Designs and Illegal Actions
I recently had an experience with Truelancer and I must say, it was not a pleasant one. I reported some copied designs and their support staff got back to me with a response that left me baffled. They said, "They are not copied. Freelancer has taken the images and modified it. Which one can do to make a logo." I mean, seriously? Is that even legal?
It seems like Truelancer doesn't care about stock imagery rules and almost every design on their website is copied. According to their Customer Success Specialist (I won't mention his name), copying images from stock image and modifying them with a logo is legal and can be used to sell on their website by their freelance users. This is outrageous!
Truelancer is supporting illegal actions and encouraging copiers. It's a fraud for employers who are posting projects and contests on their website. As a freelancer, I understand the importance of originality and creativity in design. It's not fair for those who put in the effort to create unique designs only to have them stolen and copied by others.
In conclusion, I would not recommend Truelancer to anyone looking for quality design work. It's a breeding ground for copied designs and illegal actions. As a freelancer, I value my work and the work of others. It's important to support originality and creativity in the design industry. Truelancer is not doing that.
