Umpqua Bank review: Locking our account 1

Umpqua stopped a fraudulent transfer from our account, grateful for that. But then they locked the account from us! O.K., close that account and open another. But no. Since we have a trust, they want verification from a lawyer. Our trust attorney has retired. No other attorney is going to certify our trust unless they create the trust. Price tag to us: $2500. So that's not happening. We have contacted two other banks who told us that all we need to do is provide a copy of our trust and opening an account is no problem. We can't pay our bills, either on-line or by check. My husband asked for counter checks so we could pay our bills. Of course, they say, at $10 a check. No, that's not happening either. My husband has been to our branch twice now, once for 2 hours. He was told that the fraudulent access to our account was our fault - what "wonderful" customer service! I pay our bills on line and don't have anything else open when I'm on their site. I don't open anything! I am not taking the blame. They are doing nothing to help us be able to access our money or do with it as we need. He's going to the branch again this morning and I told him I want every penny of ours out of Umpqua. Horrible experience!
