I had a problem with my Universal Audio interface and tried to get some help from their customer service. But they didn't respond to my emails and I couldn't find any useful information on their forum. It's really frustrating when you spend a lot of money on a product and then can't get any support when you need it. I wouldn't recommend Universal Audio to anyone who wants good customer service.

Plug in Bundle Scamm
UAD promoted a sale last week with limited days left to purchase a plug in bundle available for half of the price with the total of 3 plug ins , just one week later the same plug in bundle was been offer for the same price with now 6 plug-ins available, I think I've scammed by thinking that it would a one shot deal, I want the refund and return of the package I bought to purchase this new package that will give me 3 plug ins extra
Claimed loss: $374 and 3 extra plug ins
Desired outcome: Refund of the amount to buy it again on the new promotion they are offering

Purchased an audio interface from Universal Audio on Nov 1, 2020. They promised a UAD satellite within 4-6 weeks, yet after 10 weeks, it hasn't arrived. Contacting support yielded a slow response with vague assurances of eventual delivery, without a specific date. Their failure to fulfill the promise is disappointing.

I sent my Astra pedal back cuz it was messed up on Dez 15 and they got it on Dez 20. But now I ain't heard nothin' from them. I called the support team and talked to three different peeps and they all said the same thing, "You'll get an email soon with an update." But I ain't got no email. I bought all three pedals from them last April and I wanna know what's gonna happen. Are they gonna send me a new pedal and when? I'm thinkin' about takin' legal action cuz I'm super disappointed with how they're treatin' me. I hope they get back to me soon. Them pedals ain't cheap, I spent almost $*** on 'em.

Been a customer of Universal Audio since 2006. Got tons of plugins over the years. Was in their Beta Program and if you did the work and gave feedback, you got some plugins for free. They added them to your account with the ones you bought. Sold my Apollo hardware and plugins, but only the ones I bought got transferred. Nothing in my UA account told me the Beta ones wouldn't transfer. Been talking to UA Tech Support, but they keep passing me around. Can't fix this with them yet.

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with Universal Audio. So, I bought a Universal Audio Audio Interface (Refurbished/New) from their website on July 24th. I got it today and noticed some damage on the jog wheel and scuffing on one of the top right side edges. The box it came in and the "picture frame" inside the box, as well as the box containing the adapter, looked pretty used. I mean, everything about the state of the box and its contents tells me that this product was used for quite some time (a year or more).
After installing the software, I realized that this unit was paired with an ***. So, it's pretty clear that I was sold a second-hand unit, and not a "refurbished/new" or "B-Stock" unit as advertised. The listing had stock photos of a brand new *** device, not the Reverb required images of the actual unit, highlighting any damage/condition. It was completely misleading.
Overall, I'm pretty disappointed with my experience with Universal Audio. I expected better from them, especially since they're a well-known brand in the audio industry.

Universal Audio scammed me out of my plugins!
Universal Audio scammed me out of my plugins! I was promised free plugins with the purchase of any apollo interface, but they didn't mention that the offer was only for new products. I bought the apollo quad firewire for more than the price of a new Antelope Audio interface, thinking I would get a decent amount of plugins. But when I registered, I found out that I wasn't eligible for the free plugins. When I asked to speak to someone in person, they accused me of making threats and refused to help me. This company is a fraud! They have a terrible rating on ComplaintsBoard.com and Glassdoor, and they blame the customer when something goes wrong. Don't buy from Universal Audio!

Universal Audio ain't been good at supporting their stuff like hardware, software, and firmware, etc. We had a problem with Ticket XXXXXX for *** that we raised in early *** but it's still not fixed. We did what they asked, even got our hardware replaced, but they don't wanna help. They say they stand behind their services on their website, but that's a lie. Level 2 support ain't responded since they finally took the ticket. The problems ain't easy enough for front-line support, and L2 Support either got too many tickets or don't wanna help folks who need more hands-on help. This ain't just us, other folks and devices got the same issues, but the company don't give a *** and won't help. Universal Audio's products are supposed to be top-notch for their target market, but their after-sales service is pathetic. We ain't heard back for weeks after it got escalated to Level 2. Even if they did respond, it'd take forever. This ain't cool. We're thinking of going legal or something, but we'd rather they did their job and helped us out. They should remote into our computer, do some deep digging, advise us on what to check, and stay in touch until it's fixed, even if it takes a while. We just want them to start investigating the problem that's been going on since late 2021. This is terrible service from UA.

I bought an Apollo X6 from Universal Audio in December and was supposed to get a free UAD-2 Satellite QUAD Thunderbolt 3 Accelerator as part of a promotion. But I still haven't received it. I've been emailing with two people from Universal Audio, *** and "***". *** said there were three failed attempts to deliver it to my address, even though it was the same address they already had on file. Then *** took over and said it would be shipped and I'd get a tracking number. But on April 6th, he said he had to close my ticket, even though I still hadn't received the item. I asked him to keep it open until I got a tracking number or I'd speak to a supervisor. He said he was the supervisor and asked if I had a specific question. I said I'd been waiting since December and wanted my ticket to stay open until I got a tracking number. He agreed. A month later, I still hadn't received the item, so I contacted him again. He said it takes 6-8 weeks to deliver and it had been less than 4 weeks since his last email. But now it's been 9 weeks and I still don't have the item or a tracking number.
