On 10/20/2015 I had a visit from the Sears Home Service technician. My problem was with washer making noises and not spinning. The technician refused to do anything until he can return with second person (that would be another 40% of 'diagnostic fee') so that my washer can be moved from the tub (about 4 inches high) where it sits. This surprised me because this was not the first visit from Sears and there was never problem. I offered to move it myself if needed but he said this will need to be rescheduled. So I cancelled the service and paid $89 for NOTHING. I called another company that not only came within 2 hours of the call, but the technician actually turned the machine on, checked the machine and was able to determine the problem without ever moving the washer. This was disappointing experience as the Sears technician did not even try to diagnose anything without moving the machine. He even suggested that I can complain to the company if "it will make me feel better". I did and I may get call from them. At least refund for the "diagnostic fee" that was charged without any attempt would be in order. Obviously, I will call someone else when I need appliance repair.
