I ordered 2 tires for my Audi, and had an appointment for Saturday. When I got to the store I found out that they had only ordered 1 tire. Not only were they rude about they acted like I was the problem. This was my second trip... the tire was supposed to be put in on Tuesday. I have a high pressure job in Birmingham and cannot just drop everything to go to Mavis tire, so after work I drove to Mavis and arrived around 5:25 to have it installed. When I walked in the employee at the desk acted like I had grown 3 arms out of my forehead when I suggested that they put the tire on. He was incredibly rude and made comments like "Do people walk in your place of business before you close up?" My response is you are still open with plenty of time to put the tire on. I said this was your mistake, and I'd like to get my tire on as this is my 3rd trip here. He refused and said why didn't I just come during the day (It's still during the day), and I said I have a job, he said, so does he, right but you're refusing to do yours. My final words were look, its not like I showed up out of nowhere, and his response was "that's exactly what you did" There was no sense of them fixing their mistake, they simply acted like I was the problem... Also, they over charged me for the second install. Long story long, I left without the tire and I WILL NEVER go back in that store or a Mavis tire again.
Desired outcome: I'd like an apology, an acknowledgement that they should have put the tire on and not closed up 30 minutes early An acknowledgement that every employee represents Mavis, not just the one who screwed up the order.
Mavis Discount Tire - oil change
Had my oil changed on 7/25/19, the mechanic left off a seal and oil poured all over my engine and driveway, brought the car back for them to fix next day, manager claimed it was the seal. It's now 7/29/19 and my car is still dripping oil. Manager says they checked it and couldn't find any leaks and says its the left over oil from the leak. The car wasn't leaking when I brought it in. You would think mavis would clean my motor and find the leak but now they want to say it could have already been there or leaking from something else not the oil change they performed. I would like to talk with a mavis rep to help fix my issues.
