On February 21, 2021 I arrived at CVS in Mesa to find adult diapers and pick up 2 prescriptions from the pharmacy. I am a newbie to being the caretaker to my 81 year old father who for some reason now has much anxiety when he is left alone even briefly. It is just he and I so I was in a rush to get what I needed and get home as you can imagine if you have ever walked in my shoes.
I circled the store several times and finally asked the female pharmacy employee where I could locate the "adult diapers". Her snippy, unprofessional response to me was she didn't ever leave the pharmacy and so she did not know. At this point, I am old school and was taught many things obviously this employee was not... Up to and including... If you can't help the customer... Find an employee who can help them. This option did not even enter her mindset leaving me extremely frustrated.
I picked up the prescriptions and was in need for some information regarding prescriptions and medicare and asked a couple of questions to be shut down again by this female employee stating that I should know the coverage I had for my father. Additionally, I was not "schooled" by anyone in the pharmacy regarding the medicine I was picking up.
I was simply and abruptly rung up quickly by this rude female employee so that she could send me on my way so that I would not bother her any longer. Her attitude was so toxic that when I got home I called back to the pharmacy to request her name. She informed me that she elected not to give me her name! I have attached the receipt as she is the one who rung up my order.
After getting home, I am reading the new medicine sheets to find out that the 2 prescriptions should not have been given together at one time. Shortly thereafter I receive a text on my phone that there is a problem with my recent prescription pick up and to call for more details. Of course, I immediately called to determine what the issue was and was curtly told by this pharmacy not to worry about it..."everything was fine". I inquired as to why I would receive a text as such if "everything was fine" and was hung up on. I called back to receive the same treatment again!
So, BUYER BEWARE! Not only do you pay higher prices than other pharmacies on 90% of their items at CVS Pharmacy... You also get treated with disdain and disrespect as if you are a "bother" to the employees for purchasing anything! Get it together CVS... You have some libelous situations at hand in this store.
Desired outcome: If I owned or managed CVS Pharmacy I believe I would be seeking another employee
