Norton - Lifelock subscription

Here is a summary of what LifeLock did and how I feel this is a violation to my rights as a primary account holder with a valid subscription. I canceled my adult daughter's instance on my account. It was clearly canceled as she got a notice. Whomever assisted her, did not create her own account but added her back to my account. This was done without my permission and without any notification to me. Then my daughters credit card was added as payment for my subscription, again without any notification to me that the billing had changed. Her credit card information was visible on my account when I logged into check on 8/30/2021. At the time I canceled her, she became a separate entity and should never been added back to my account without my permission. She is a legal adult and is responsible for her own account. I do see in Lifelock's terms of service that adult children on an account can make changes and the primary account holder is responsible, but that right should have been terminated the moment I canceled her off my account. There was a reason that I did that purposely. What Lifelock did is a violation of my rights as an individual account owner. During my several phone conversations with the 7 people at Lifelock, my daughters account was canceled and I don't remember who did it. But I did explain she did NOT want her account canceled. We wanted my daughter to be removed from my account, have her own separate account and the billing to be fixed. Why was this so hard? While on the phone, I was directed to change the billing on my account back to my credit card. I also asked several times that my daughter receive a refund for the $50.00 erroneously charged to her credit card. Shir denied that request and continued to say she could issue a prorated refund as I had received services. I told her that she could go ahead and charge my credit card for my services, but my daughters credit card needed to receive the $50.00 refund as it was done in error. After arguing with Shir, she refused and I told her she just lost a client.

Desired outcome: Refund of $50.00

I’ve been going round and round with these people unsure of who they really are. Each time I talked to them they were anxious to screen-share taking control over it as if to help me! The 1st time I allowed it there was some kind of “file” added on my computer I noticed after hanging up on them. Then they tried returning my call 5 times in a row! I ended up looking that number up and it was out of TX flagged by TONS of people as a scammer!

This was done by this exact website, phone number and company! It’s like my calls to companies like Amazon, Cox, Verizon, Paypal, Apple, etc have someone intercepting their line (or website)! I have no idea who to trust except being in person! 99% of the times I’ve called it he person has a strong accent and can be hard to understand!

Everyone please be very very careful as now I have identity theft going on which no one has really cared!
