We ordered two swivel barstools from our Ashley Furniture store in Colton CA.
When we got home, the problem with our previous barstools was resolved, so we didn’t need the barstools that we got from Ashley Furniture.
When we tried to return the barstools in the unopened box, we were told that they don’t accept any returns.
We were not told by the sales person that there was a no return policy. We also did not hear this from the warehouse person either.
There are no postings in the store that said “ No Returns.”
I feel this is an unfair policy because now we are out $400.
Is there anything that you can do about this?
I would greatly appreciate your help with this.

Ashley HomeStore - does not stand by their warranty
We bought a Matress from Ashley in July 2010, after usuing it for 8 months the mattress started sinking in the middle and was causing us back problems, we called the Tech to check the matress, it was still under warranty. He said that there was not enough "sink" in the middle of the mattress to/for a exchange it. They will not honor their warranty and they "Do not Care Even If the mattress they Sold to Us Causes Back Problems". I have paid for this Mattress and this will Definitely be our FINAL PURCHASE and will share our expeirience with all of our friends. Will even consider Litigation the matter in court.
