July 1,2023, Order Number [protected]. I shopped online when it was an additional 50% off of clearance items. When I first got my order, I went into store to complain about not getting my additional 50% off. I was told by Leanna in customer service that it will show when I got my statement after asking another staff member. I went back to store today, August 7, 2023, after receiving statement. I spoke to Leanna again and she informed me that the sale was over. She called manager Corise who looked up the boots that had doubled in price. She explained that the price online included the additional clearance prices. I argued with both of them this was not true. I have been shopping with Kohls for many years and every time the additional discount comes off at checkout. It seems that the company has a miscommunication between what is advertised and what is being understood by employees.
