On Monday June 19 I went in to pick up a prescription that was sent in around 11:00. I went in at 1:20.
Halie - at the pharmacy - told me they hadn't received it yet. As my son has just had oral surgery and the only reason I drove over was for the script I went to the car and called his doctor who then sent me a copy that was dated and stamped and I was sure it was there.
So I went in the store to speak with the manager to see if he would go check. (This wasn't the first time)
The manager Brett wasn't in but his assistant was in. And here's the problem. The second I said 'pharmacy' he - Brent-threw his hands up in the air and stated to yell 'no no no'. He created quite a scene and I was mortified.
I worked for Safeway as an investigator for several years in the '70's. I have NEVER seen any 'manager' ever cause a scene like that.
Brent did not even bother to talk to me. I might suggest that there were several better ways to handle this. For example why didn't he ask me to go to the offso I could actually speak with him. After I left Safeway I became trouble shooter for retailers. I built a reputation for excellent customer service and that was the most important thing in my recipe for turning stores around.
Very disappointing that Safeway needs much help in that regard.
Before I ever walk in that store again, I will call to make sure Brent is not there. BTW - the prescription was there but Halie was just too lazy to go look.
Desired outcome: I want an apology
