CVS Store on Bowles/Kipling in Littleton, CO:
I've gone to CVS a lot in my life for prescriptions. Today, my relationship with CVS will cease to exist. My family and friends have heard about this encounter & now also refuse to go there, not even for regular shopping. You can thank your pharmacy staff. I've never felt so disrespected in my life. I'm on a medication that I need to take every day. So far, I won't have it for tonight, once again, because of your staff. Your staff should understand the effects of not taking prescribed medications. They are pharmacists, after all, correct? They should MAKE SURE you have what you need as there is a reason that we are being prescribed medications in the first place. That's what someone who cared about their jobs would do. Your staff, put simply, doesn't care at all. It's really sad, and honestly, extremely eye-opening. I will no longer go through these chain pharmacies, especially if this is how I'm going to be treated.
Today is July 18, 2022 @ this happened 2 times today around noon/12:30 p.m.--
I needed to get my prescription refilled & they couldn't find my information and straight up refused to help me. They provided me with an option, but they seem to lack basic problem-solving skills in order to efficiently complete their jobs.
I know at my job, if I acted the way any of these 3 did today to a customer, I would be fired on the spot. That should have happened today to these people. I've never felt so disrespected in my life: 1.) Your main Pharmacy tech guy is clueless, he was providing me with no help, and threw his arms in the air and declared 'I'm the main guy, there is no one else to talk to,' when I asked to speak with someone else because he was no help -- uhhhhhhh, what? I just needed to speak with someone who cared and would help me. I was not provided with that service & it's just extremely disappointing. I should've been able to speak to someone else when I asked to. This is not proper policy & this needs to be handled. He can't be treating people that way, it's ridiculous. He was acting as though he was some sort of God, but he was literally doing nothing to help me. He also declared 'everyone in the pharmacy will agree with me!' I don't know why you have this person in your employ. It's pathetic. He's the main reason I'm even writing this complaint, I wouldn't have even pursued this had I just been able to speak with someone else, as is my basic human right as an American. Freedom of Speech has died in your company, not good.
I just wanted to speak with someone who would actually offer to try to help me instead of 'no' to everything. There was nothing, but yet that stocky, bushy-haired person in the back with long reddish-brown hair was awful as well. I'm a customer, but once again instead of helping me, all I received from her was a slew of choice words that I couldn't hear. She came to try to speak to me again after that, like I was even going to give her the time of day after that. I gave her a disgruntled look and left the store, deciding that it wasn't worth my time or effort.
The woman at the front desk, who has half her head colored blue (very professional, btw) -- started out ok, but once I started asking hard questions is when she started acting cool towards me. Honestly, to that, whatever, but I just have to ask-- how do you keep people like this employed with your company? Like how embarrassing is that for your company? Again, if I treated someone the way I was treated today in your store, I would be fired on the spot. That's not Customer Service. I don't even have a word to describe what that was, besides just plain old 'worthless'
So - to end, I as an American was not given the opportunity to say what I needed to say to someone else that would've actually helped me - I feel like I was denied a basic human right & I need some kind of resolution to this. It is not ok how I was treated & their response to me trying to get my required medications may have gotten me angry, but quite frankly, who wouldn't get upset over this?
Desired outcome: Employ professional and caring employees-- as that's what we need, we're just trying to get our required medications!
CVS - Discrimination
My two children were kicked out of CVS today. When they asked why they were being kicked out they were told that they must be accompanied by an adult to make a purchase. When I went back to the store to ask why my kids needed to be accompanied by an adult to buy a pack of gum and a soda I was told that they steal. When I asked why my kids were told one thing and I was told another and she just looked at me with a blank star. If my children really did steal from CVS I'm pretty sure that the manager would have told them that they are refusing service because they stole from the store not because they are unaccompanied minors. Not only dose CVS discriminate against short kids who do not look their age they have the audacity to tarnish their character because they had no reason not to let my kids buy a pack of gum and a soda. After talking to other parents in my community we found that it's not only my children but any child who walks into the store and this has been going on for quite some time. Because the store has refused service to my children they now have to cross a busy intersection to shop at the Walgreens across the street to spend their hard earned allowance.
