Meineke Car Care Center - Unnecessarily installed parts that did not fixed the problem, unnecessarily monies and time spent and lack of knowledge diagnosing problem

(1) To whom it may concern, I need your help. On 9/5/2020 I took my 2006 Impala to Meineke Car Care at 100168 Chatfield Avenue, Littleton, Colorado, 80127 to find a power steering leak. They said it was a power steering line leak. So, I bought new lines and when they went to install them, they only replace one rubber hose line. There are two rubber hose lines, but they only replace one rubber hose line and did not install the complete set of two that I bought to be replaced as instructed by Meineke. Problem fixed…. NO!

(2) I left and the leak was still leaking, I had to put power steering fluid into the pump daily. I Brought my car back and this time they said it was the power steering pump, so on December 1st, 2020, I had the pump replaced. Drove a block to gas station to check the fluid level in the power steering reservoir and it was low. They gave me my car back with low fluid level that they just fixed.

(3) With-in one day, I still had the same leak in the same location as when I 1st brought my care in. This time they said it was the rack and pinion rack that was leaking. I had it replaced on December 12th, 2020. I drove my car on the highway to confirm that indeed the leak was finally fixed and no more leaks. I parked my car in a spot that was clear of oil stains so I could see if I had any leaks. 30 minutes Later I came out and saw that it was still leaking. I took pictures. I have not drove my car much in fear of full failure.

(4) The next day I drove to the mountains, hoping I would be ok. The power steering line blew, and all my power steering fluid leak out. I had no steering at all. All my new parts were now being damaged as I was running with no fluid in the reservoir. Desperately, I drove to the nearest auto parts store to get more fluid and attempting to drove home with no steering. The next day I took my care back to Meineke Car Care. They said the other power steering line (that they did not replace the first time) was rubbing and put a hole in it. They replace it. I left and went to a nearby gas station to check the level of the power steering pump and found it was below the fill line and had to put power steering fluid in. Again, they let me leave with low power steering fluid.

(5) I drove on the highway to see if it was not leaking. I parked my car and did some shopping. When I came out, I looked under my car and it was still leaking on the pavement. I took pictures. I checked the level of the power steering pump; it was low and now I half to fill it daily to the required level.

(6) December 9th, I brought my car back in to get the leak fixed again. They said the clamp to the power steering line that they just fixed was leaking and it was installed wrong and they fix it. Again! Power steering is still leaking.
I have spent better part of $1100 and 8 quarts of power steering fluid at $5.00 each and still not fixed. I had other automotive repair shops look at my car to try to find the problem. They all found the same results after putting a dye in the power steering pump. This dye under UV light shows any leaks anywhere. Also, they all mentioned I did not need to replace the power steering pump or rack and pinion rack parts as they may have ageing dampness but would not cause this problem. The dye should have been the first thing done to find the leak. I want financial reimbursement for unnecessarily installed parts and all the time spent going back and forth in over months. I will need to take my car to another automotive repair shop to get it fixed right. Clearly I cannot trust Meineke Car Care at 100168 Chatfield Avenue, Littleton, Colorado, 80127 as they did not know how to fix this problem and replaced parts unnecessarily.

Desired outcome: I want financial reimbursement for unnecessarily installed parts and all the time spent going back and forth in over months.
