This was a last minute decision to go to Ct to our favorite place Mystic, and because we traveled with our dog the choices were slim. Didn't read reviews before booking (bad idea) we got there, checked in and left for the town. When we came back the room was stuffy and AC was not working it kept going in and out and was blowing hot air. We called the front desk and Eric the manager was trying to get my husband to trouble shoot. He showed up with an attitude after hearing his AC wasn't working. He said it works fine if it is on low, but did agree that it seems warm. Though, it was on low when we left hotel for hours and I turned it on high to see if it would work. Anyway, I told him I can't stay in room with no air, his responde was "I can check you out bc I have no other rooms." In a very dismissive tone. This is how he wanted to solve the problem. Maybe because I am a woman, he had no tolerance. The dog barked at him when he walked in with his bad energy but my Shipoo was being held so she was not a threat. He then said if the dog is not controlled he is going to ask us to leave. So now we are going back and forth arguing because he was extremely rude, hostile, incompetent and unprofessional. We tried to find a pet friendly hotel near by, but sadly they were booked. Mattress was stained and roll away bed they brought was covered with hair, I had to ask housekeeping to replace sheets. Hallways smelt old with a very strong smell of curry from Indian restaurant on site. We checked out at 9am, I couldn't wait to take my family out of there. Worse experience ever of all our time traveling. I have been permanently turned off from Ramada and Wyndham.
