Kohl's - saddened & disappointed

This past month, I have had a few bad experiences with your store. On 12/1/2017, I was very disappointed with my experience in your Orange, Connecticut store. I was in the checkout line and went to use my $45 kohls cash. It only took $30 off, and I was confused as to why. Come to find out, something on the order had been returned, which brought the previously eligible purchase down to $148. Therefore, they took away $15 in the Kohls cash. The cashier called the manager over for assistance, and she was completely rude and unhelpful. She basically stared at me with a blank face and kept saying, "I don't know what you want me to tell you". I am disappointed because I feel like this issue could have been resolved in store, if you had managers that actually cared about your consumers. Your website specifically states that if the order is at $48, they will issue you the Kohls Cash anyway. Therefore, would it have been that unreasonable for them to reinstate the $15 Kohls Cash?

Furthermore, your cashier then told me "You have a choice of where to shop, you didn't need to come here". This was extremely saddening to me. The fact that your staff doesn't even value its shoppers is unbelievable and sad. I just feel that this issue could have been resolved by your management staff in the store, and $15 isn't worth losing a customer for life.

Additionally, I was interested in your black Friday sale of the Apple Watch Series 3. I was upset to learn that this was not available on your website at all the week of Thanksgiving and never became available when the black Friday sales hit (5PM EST). Knowing that I wanted this item, My husband went in search of it. He went to 3 Kohls store in our area on Black Friday Night (Hamden, Stratford, and Orange) only to learn that they aren't even Apple Retailers and don't carry the watch at all. Do you think it's fair that you advertise something that you don't even carry in this demographic? That he had to drive around trying to find it, battling the crowds, while toting a 16 month old? I called your customer service line since it didn't come back in stock online at all over that weekend to ask if they were going to honor the kohl's cash promo, and the woman was not very helpful, just stating that they didn't have it and there wasn't anything they could do.

When I mentioned this in store recently, the manager informed me in a very snotty way; "Well Plainville is an Apple retailer". Again, I was disappointed in this response, because there is no way for us to know that. Your website isn't clear regarding what store has it, and honestly, I don't think that's the most appropriate response from your manager.

Overall, I am just very saddened & disappointed by my recent customer service experiences in your store. I used to really like shopping here and have just felt like you really went downhill. You don't value your customers anymore and in an era when you literally don't have to leave your house to go shopping, I would think you would be trying to retain customers rather than tell them you don't need them.
