My husband also witnessed the interaction. I ordered on line to pick up inside. They had the doors locked they said for remodeling. No remoldeling. I knocked on the door. They lady would not come over to talk to me. Just yelled that I had to wait in the line. I got in line and waited for 15 minutes. The cars were not moving. There were only 3 cars. I had prepaid so I walked up to the window to ask if there was another way to pick up my order. Assuming that it was already prepared. They said no get back in your car. I got back in and waited. When I got to the order window. I said I already placed my order on line. He said to go to the first window. I continued to wait. When I got to the window the lady told me she would not fulfill my order because I was threatening to them. I had then waited in line for 25 minutes. I am 5'2 " and weigh 100 lbs. I said then can you please reimburse me my $28. She told me that they had nothing to do with Popeyes online orders. They could not give me money back. There is no customer service to call and ask what to do, I called my husband and he listened while I tried to have a conversation with them. They were exceptionally rude. The lady told me that the online orders don't matter that you still have to wait in line and place the order. I said I would not leave the drive through until they reimbursed me or gave me my food. They called the police on me. My husband drove there. He explained to the police that he listened to the conversation and the lady was rude. They were also rude when he came up. We left after speaking to the police.. I wanted them to make a report.
I have to say I was in retail management for 30 years. I was a Corp. trainer who went across the country and trained exceptional customer experiences.
This was so upsetting. I was there for 1 hour. Which many of the other people waiting in line were as well. I'm not sure how this is fast food.
I would like my money refunded I know how disgruntled customers can hurt a brand
