I live at 11200 Jefferson Trace Blvd Louisville KY and am vacationing in FT Myers Beach for 3 months. Recently I needed to visit a dermatolgist in FT Myers for dermatits on my nose and checks. I visited Advanced Dermatolgy on Friday February 14th at 8:30 am and the Doctor prescribed Triamcinolone 0.1% cream and the prescription was called in to CVS at 8:45AM. I saw the prescription on the CVS app and it was showing in process so I gave the pharmacy some time. When I arrived at noon to pickup there was a printed sign that said due to a severe employee shortage they were only filling pain med and antibotic prescription the pickup person confirmed that my prescription was in the system but would not be ready until later that day probably around 6:00 pm. I waited until Saturday morning and was there around 9:00 am and the prescription and all records of it had completely disappered from your system. The dermatolgy office has no one available on the weekend so I had to wait until Monday Feb 17th to get a replacment prescription. They sent the replacement first thing Monday morning and when I arrive to pick-up the prescription at 11:00 on the 17th the pharmacy tech who was male and wore glassed advised me they had reviewed all prescriptions that were sent in and they did not have one for me he had my phone number in my records and said that he would call if one was received. I called Advanced Dermalogy about CVS not receiving the prescription and I received a return call from Advanced advising they had spoke to the pharmasist who confirmed that she had the prescription but because they were so busy she did not enter it in the system. She said it would be ready at 1:00 pm Monday the 17th and it showed up in the CVS app as in process. So I am going to go back to the store around 2:30pm and with heavy day time traffic will take me over 1 hour roundtrip. Clearly this is the worst service that I have ever encountered as I am on my 5th day waiting for a a prescription from CVS. I like my CVS in Louisville but if I am spending three months a year in FT Myers what I need to decide is do I want to put up with this service. I still do not know if I will get the prescription today as I have not tried to pick it up.
