Toll Brothers

My wife and I were planning our Military move to NAS Jacksonville, FL and came upon the Julington Lakes homes being sold by Toll Brothers. We made contact with the Julington Lakes sales team in late DEC2020. We spoke to Kelly Hofelt. Throughout the process Toll Brothers never confirmed with us what the exterior color of the house would be painted. All of their brochures showed a white color. All the picture on their website showed a white color. The exterior color of the picture that was provided to us in our Toll Brothers Portal was also white. To our surprise, back in JUN, the house was painted a different color (Grayish/Blue). We spoke to Kelly about it and she stated that she was surprised about the color as well since the "most popular color" for the home we selected was "white". She provided us option of color scheme as she discussed with the design team. We were under the impression that she would be able to convince her management to change the color to white. After not hearing back from her for several weeks, we decided to elevate the issue above her. Today, 06AUG2021, John Hodges informed us that we should have been informed of what the exterior color of the house was chosen for us early on in the process and he apologized that did not occur. So at this point Mr Hodges said they could not do anything for us with regards to the exterior color. Had we been informed in the beginning of the process, prior to giving Toll Brothers a down payment, we would not have agreed to purchase this particular lot. we certainly would have chosen a different lot with the correct color we wanted. We are extremely disappointed with Toll Brothers and wished they would do something about it.
