Popeyes

I have visited the Popeye's location at 5011 W Irlo Bronson Memorial, Kissimmee, FL 34746 twice in recent weeks only to be told they have no chicken ready nor will any be ready for 20 to 30 minutes.

If this were a one time incident then I would accept it as a temporary staffing issue; however, on the second occasion I then view this as a serious management and leadership issue.

Secondly, while Popeye's claims to have tasty side items and I enjoy the Red Beans and Rice, I was truly a HUGE fan of the Cajun Rice. I am not fond of the other side items offered by Popeye's (Fries, Mashed Potatoes, etc). Popeye's seemed to make this decision with little input from actual customers.

I bring these two incidents to the attention of management so that an accurate impression may be gained of what may be a systemic management issue at the Popeye's located at 5011 W Irlo Bronson Memorial, Kissimmee, FL 34746. When I asked why there was such a delay in the preparation of chicken, I was told it was a "staffing issue."

As a leader, I understand the issues the staffing, but that does not excuse a restaurant from being able to supply its customers with a the basic and main menu item is totally unacceptable.

As far as the Cajun Rice removal goes, I understand that the senior level leadership has the right to remove items as they see fit, but this has simply further driven me away from returning to a restaurant which cannot provide the food I desire in a timely fashion and offer the side items I enjoy.

I am hopeful Popeye's will return Cajun Rice to it's menu, but the fix for the store located at 5011 W Irlo Bronson Memorial, Kissimmee, FL 34746 seem more dubious.

I do not expect a refund and I was unable to order any food. I have always enjoyed the incredible flavor of Popeye's chicken coupled with their flavorful side items, but these experiences have me seeking a new fast food chicken spot.
