Yesterday, I drove up to the pharmacy window and there were two cars in front of me. After waiting for 5-7 minutes, I decided to go into the pharmacy. When I got there, the clerk was waiting on another customer, she left the counter to help the customer find something in the store and said she would be back in a minute. After 4-5 minutes of waiting, I shouted to the workers back behind the counter and asked if they could please help me. There were four employees back there and one responded that someone would be with me soon but did not come out to help. I waited once again until the clerk came back with the customer she was helping and expressed my frustration with the lack of customer service and why she did not have anyone to back her up. She replied that the four people behind the counter had their specific work. It seems to me that good customer service dictates that you stop your work (one of the four) and take care of the live person in front of you! I was there to pick up one RX that took all of 20-30 seconds! This is not the first time that my husband and I have experienced poor service and long wait times from this pharmacy. It is enough to make me want to change my health insurance so I can go back to Walgreens where we received much better service.
By the way, i spoke to the store manager on the way out and she directed me to the survey ID # on my receipt where I could file a complaint. None of your survey sites would take my survey number even though I entered it correctly. that was also pretty frustrating.
