To whom it may concern:
Today, 8/25/11, I went and pick up my new gas grill (Kenmore 16107) that I had also bought a 3 year warranty on. The customer service men had load it up into my truck and strap the grill down in my truck. At first they were discussing whether to lay it down or stand it up. Well needless to say, the grill blow out of my truck on the interstate, luckly no one got hurt, but I was one upset customer. I went back to SEARS and explain what happen, and the night manager said they are not responsible for what happen to my grill and to come back tomorrow morning to talk to the manager that works in the grill department. They said she would decide if I would get a new grill or my money back. Personally, I wanted a new grill. I feel it was there fault for not making sure I left with a secure grill..because all in all the customer is right and you want your customer to go home with their product not harm. Am I corrected?
I have spent a lot of money in SEARS over the years, and have never had this bad of customer services before.
Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Stacie Filbert

On the evening of the 10th of december 2017 I was looking at the Gas Grills in SEARS at the tool department and noticed a "Close Out" price tag on one of the floor models for $104.00 with the normal Price of $346.00. I took the tag to the check Out to pay for it and then the clerk told me she had to talk to the Manager. He (JEFF) came over to me and said that He can't sell it to me for that price and that He made a mistake and left it on the Grill. I then told him that if it was advertised at this price, he was obligated to sell it to me at that price. He then said "I Don't have to sell it to you for that price and I'm not going to but I will give you 5% off." I told him that that was not an acceptable offer and wanted him to Honor the price on the Price Tag. He just refused.
This is not how you win customers.
We were going to purchase other items, but put them back for concerns that the other Sale Prices would not be honored either.
I feel He should have Honored the Price Tag that he himself admitted leaving on the Grill.
This is the type of misleading advertising that will keep me and all of my Family, out of SEARS.
I currently carry a DISCOVER card and am good standing and have been for decades.
I do not know how long I will keep this card either after this insident.

You sound ridiculous. The salesmen obliviously made a mistake and probably would have lost his job if he sold it to you. It makes no difference to anyone or anything if you don't shop there again so don't feel good about yourself.
