Arrived at my store at 8:30 am. As tv ad says, "just walk in". I did. The pharmacy directore refused to allow me to get my flu shote because "I didnt make an appointment". What? I was the only one there at pharmacy, ready for my shot, no appointment. She made me wait until her 9:45 am patient, with appointment, didnt show, and agreed that I "could not get my flu shot!". I was there at 8:30 am, husband waiting to leave for a 4 day holiday in our rv. I have tried calling and waited, just today, over 3 hours (serious), writing, only to be logged out as I sent my message. Called again and reached someone who was going to put me through to cs; waited again for another 45 minutes. Silly me! But I needed to speak to someone about the behavior of the phrmacy director, julie and the store mgr, (dont know his name). They both agreed, I could not get my shot without appt. I am not ur average 80 yr old and I have had issues with julie before, miscounting and rebutting that she did, a medication reefill. My dr asked for a physical count of her inventory. She was not happy. She was over by 3 pills, the amt that were miscounted in my zolpidem refill.! She did give me the 3 pills. Its just abhorrent, the way this store operates and walgreens overall. No one answers any phone anywhere, anywhere. I'm changing stores, out of my area but someone should be aware of whats going on in zip code 33954, tamiami trail. 1800 tamiami trail, port charlotte, fl. This mgr has been with company for over 15 years.
Desired outcome: Personal apology by the pharmacy and store manager
