I have been trying to get an warranty issue resolved 9 months after I received my chair. The first tech came out in Sept 2020, On Oct 19th I was told it would take 11 weeks to get the part to replace the seat cushion, In Dec I spoke to a customer service rep and she stated since they could not repair the chair they would replace it. Expected delivery date was 02/09/2021, Now I receive a voicemail that they can not replace the chair until April 19th. This is now going on now for 6 mos or more. I want 100% refund for the chair, 3 yr protection plan I purchased and sales tax. They can have their chair back. Because they obviously can not honor their warranties.
Desired outcome: 100 % refund including 3 yr protection plan and sales tax
City Furniture - customer service
City furniture will leave a bad taste in your mouth. We went to the Jensen Beach city furniture to look for a new upholstered bed. Salesman wasn't very helpful. We thought the prices were a little high so we went to the other furniture stores in the area to see what they had to offer. We liked the bed we found at city furniture the best so we went back a second time. Again he was not very helpful he said the price was firm there is no negotiating that they didn't complete with other st So we left when I got home I looked Online and saw where the bed was $200 cheaper than it was in the store. It was actually on sale. So we ordered it online. The next day I called and talk to the manager and asked why after going to the store physically twice that we were never informed that it was actually on sale and $200 cheaper. The manager had no answer for that. When the order came the poster bed pieces came in different colors. Somewhere the Durham gray that I ordered and some of them were base. I again called customer service and they offered me a $100 gift certificate if I would keep it. I said absolutely not, I'm not buying a new bed that's going to be half beige and a half dark gray. So I took another week for the correct pieces to come. When they called to tell us the time of delivery they told my husband to have the whole bed taken apart because they were sending a whole new bed. They said the delivery would be here between 2 and 5 pm. At noon we get a phone call from the driver that says they're in our neighborhood. We inform them that we were not there that they weren't scheduled to get there until 2pm. So we had to scramble to find someone to come to our house to let them in. The person we sent made it there within 20 minutes. The truck is nowhere to be found. One hour and 15 minutes later the driver calls us again it says they will be here within 15 minutes. When they show up they just have the footboard in the drawer but it's not in a box and it's damaged. The footboard looks like it's been covered using scrap pieces Of fabric. So again my husband has to put together The bed using the damage pieces. I finally get through to someone Monday after trying several times The day of delivery. And tell them about the damage pieces. Again this time they offer me $50 to just keep it. I said absolutely not I want a new footboard and drawer delivered in a box. I talk to the manager again was very unhelpful and offered me $50 gift card for my troubles. I will never buy anything from city furniture again and I will tell everybody that I know how terrible their customer service is. They offered us nothing for our time in our trouble. This will be the third day that we've had to wait on city furniture to bring us the correct undamaged piece. Apparently they don't feel my time is worth More than a $50 gift card.

City Furniture - Bad furniture
We bought a leather couch & loveseat from City Furniture. We were told by Sherri Skinner, the salesperson that all stains would be covered with their in home warranty. We went for the extra $217.00. In November, we noticed stains coming out of the leather. Apparently this was a result of the tanning of the leather process in China. We called customer service and they sent over a technician to fixthe stain. The stain looked like drips of liquid coming out in the leather. The technician sprayed Windex on it and claimed he never saw a stain like it before. The technician advised us that only pet waste and human food stains are covered. Nothing else. What liars!
We complained to the saleswoman Ms. Skinner and it was referred to her manager. He asked me to send him photos of the stains. I did. He said the warranty would not cover these stains as it is apparent that we spilled battery acid or some other corrosive on the couch and loveseat.
This is insane. The best City Furniture could do was offer to send us leather material and we could reupholster the couch and loveseat at our own cost. We never spilled anything on this couch. Their customer sservice is a farce and this company is vthe epitome of a misleading and corrupt company.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
