On March 26, 2023 I purchased the HP MAXWELL WHITE MICRO LEFT LOVE and HP MAXWELL WHITE MICRO RIGHT CHAISE and the warranty for 3 years. I file a claim on 12/31/23 for stains and the malfunctioning headrest. I called and scheduled an appointment for service on 1/16/24 but received a text from the technician that he left the state for family reason and would not return by service date. I called City furniture and rescheduled for 1/19/24. On 1/19/24, I received a call from Jennifer to reschedule my warranty claim because the technician is sick. I returned the call and rescheduled the warranty service claim again for the third time for 2/16/24. On 2/16/24, I contacted City furniture because I didn’t receive notification of the timeframe the technician would arrive. I was informed that two technician is available and my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I rescheduled again for the fourth time for 3/1/24. On 2/29/24 @ 6:56 pm, I received a voicemail message that the appointment scheduled for 3/1/24 is canceled due to the technician is sick and to call and schedule an appointment. Because I was given a timeframe vs a standard time for the service call, it required me to take a full day off from work. I’ve missed 32 hours from work related to City furniture poor customer service. City furniture failed to uphold the warranty in which customers are urged to purchase. The chaise I purchased, the material is poorly made. If city furniture cannot contract a reputable service company that cannot fulfill its warranty claim, city furniture should reimburse me for this substandard piece of furniture.
