Popeyes

I came to the Popeyes on Slappey in Albany, GA on August 27, 2023 at 7:27 pm the lady stated they were closed and I have to go through the drive thru to get my order! Insane! The line is wrapped around the building why?!?! No clue they ALWAYS RUN OUT OF THINGS! Honestly I’m doing door dash, so if I was not doing it i would NEVER come here! Y’all need to walk in there smell how it smells and ask yourself would you eat here! It’s disgusting. Y’all need all the ppl in there to work drive thru . If there was an option to come in at all that’s the best option! You running it wrong! 3 or 4 ppl need to be cooking cuz the one you have move to slow, the ladies y’all have doing everything else but what they need to do! Y’all need one preparing just door dash orders and if the line that long get someone to help on drive thru to make drinks sides and all that stuff! Have someone out here taking orders or something this [censored] is crazy!

I visited the Popeyes in Albany Georgia at 1401 S. Slappy Blvd. on Monday February 22, 2021. I went through the drive thru. My order was taken and I paid. After I paid I was told to pull to the curb and someone would bring my order out. I sat and waited and waited and waited. While waiting I noticed that several cars behind me were told to pull over to park as well. After about 17 minutes I called and asked if they had forgotten about me. They asked what my ticket was and what I ordered, I told them and they said it would be out soon. I couldn't imagine what was taking so log so I got out of my car and looked inside and saw several orders just sitting on the counter. After that a young man came from behind the counter and grabbed all the orders brought mine to the car (he had a frown on his face and didn't say a word) he just shoved my food in front of my face. He then began to distribute all the other orders. I checked my order and it was wrong. I asked for 2 piece dark meat they gave me white meat. The lobby was closed to customers so I couldn't go in to tell them my order was wrong. I wanted to ask the guy who brought the food but he was totally unapproachable. So after waiting for my food for nearly 20 minutes just because the guy didn't want to make more than 1 trip outside, I was stuck with the wrong order. This kind of service is totally unacceptable. I will not be going back. I felt like I was being held hostage I was at their mercy I had to sit there as long as this guy wanted me to and I better not complain. II like popeyes chicken but it aint worth the bad service.
