I went on maternity leave to have my baby girl in August. About 6 weeks later, I called in to see when I was to return to work, and I was told that I had been taken out of the system. I was sent no notification of any kind and left without my health benefits. I need to speak to someone about this and get this matter settled. Thank you.

Contact a lawyer. CVS/phamarcy is in a firing mood now that they have taken over Longs Drugs, and many long term employees and managers are getting the axe. My mother (whom worked for Savon/CVS for 20 years) was a manager and was fired for taking a scheduled day off after the DM (Marylin Molina - Inland Empire, California) forced her to work 13 days straight without a dayoff.
This is why there are so many lawsuits involving CVS/pharmacy and the former Savon Drugs at the moment.
My daughter works at CVS in Bethel Ohio . She has tried talking to all managers who ignore her and others complaints about the young employees running the store . They talk rude to customers, one boy throws and kicks things and swears, one of the married pharmacists rubs the young girls shoulders and more . These young employees tell the managers when they will work . They talk about sex and use vulgar laguage during breaks knowing some of the others do not want to hear and managers igore it . One girl made p**** cookies and passed them out to everyone at christmas 2008 knowing it would upset some . One pharmacist gave to a couple of these kids sexual gifts for Christmas gifts . No one will listen. One pharmacist you were lucky to have left and went to Meijers in Eastgate Ohio due to these problems . She tried to correct one of these young people and was told to leave them alone that maybe the problem was her . Because the managers are part of the problem they tell everyone if they don't like it leave they can be repaced . My daughter needs her job and puts up with it for now . When she finds a new job she will be suing CVS for the way she is being treated ( this will be my treat) . I cannot believe this goes on in our little town and that adult people are allowed to treat others this way . They are teaching these kids they can push people and do whatever they want .They should be teaching them to respectyour staff and customers .
