I contacted the motel to cancel the reservation on 12/21/2008.
They charged my Credit Card in spite of me canceling.
I have made several attempts to resolve this situation.
All I have got was an indignant attitude.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

I find ridiculous that early reservations can not be cancelled while last minute ones can. It should be the other way around. I apparently had a nonrefundable room after booking on their website 1 month in advance. If I look at booking a room for tonight, I can call to cancel anytime before 6 PM. This is stupid.
However, the customer service girl was very nice to me.
I am also dealing with a similar situation.
I booked a room last week and inadvertantly chose a prepaid nonrefundable room. All I wanted to do was to change the credit card information and add a night. I called the customer care line and was told they couldn't make any changes to the room. I am still waiting for the manager to call me back that was suppose to call me within 36 hours. Now I am not going to book for the additional night or ever stay there again.
I have never encountered such poor customer service. Has anyone ever encoutered a nonrefundable room when you book on the company's website?
