It was my 63rd birthday on March 13, 2021. I choose to eat at Longhorn restaurant in Griffin, GA. We eat there at least a couple of times every month. We had a family of 14 that were celebrating my birthday. When we arrived at 1:30, we were told that it would be at least an hour and a half before we could be seated. So we decided that we'd wait since everyone was already there. After about 2 hours and 15 minutes we saw the large party come out so we thought that we would be called shortly. My girlfriend went to the restroom a little while thereafter, and saw that they were cleaning two different booths and not the large table. She asked the hostess why couldn't they clean the large table, that we had been waiting for over two hours. She said that she would get it cleaned, and then this smart mouth disrespectful young boy, said we got other things to do. He turned his back and walked away irritated. That was totally out of line for a young kid to be disrespectful of a senior citizen. She came out mad and said "I'm not eating here", so I made the decision that we would all leave. In the meantime my daughter went in and the so-called manager said we are not seating any of your party. He said that the lady had just cursed at his 16 year old employee, and we will not be seating any of your party. This was absolutely not true, the manager did not hear the conversation. This so-called manager knows nothing about customer service, and he should never be in that position. All I can say is that you lost a lot of business, because of his actions. The way my family and I was treated on Saturday, March 13th was out of line. You can bet we will never eat there again. So you lost a lot of business, and rest assured that we will spread the word that the restaurant is not a good place to eat. We will tell everyone we know! And believe me, we know a lot of people in the area that eat there. I worked at a company for many years that focused on customer service and if I ever treated anybody half as bad as we were treated, I would have been fired on the spot. Longhorn needs to fire this manager asap, and all the employees need to be sent to customer service class, to learn about how customers should be treated. If longhorn continues to let the managers treat customers like crap, you will be going out of business in a short time.
Desired outcome: Free dinner for all 14 people in my family thet were treated very wrong , and new management at this restaurant
