I bought $142 of clothes several months ago. NEVER received a bill until today, asserting I owe additional $80 in late fees. One month ago, I had attempted to pay my bill at the store, but was told the "Customer Service" was not allowed to access customer accounts! Meanwhile, I receive daily calls from random phone numbers around the country, pretending to be Kohl's. I will pay this bill, including late fees if the store insists, but I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and all the Atlanta consumer advocates.
Desired outcome: I would be glad to pay the original amount, but do not charge me for not paying bills I never received. My impression is that you WANT to create late fees for customers.
