InTown Suites - Misrepresentation, misbehaving of property mgr and his guest

We have stayed here few times now wen we lost our home due to city and health dept seized the home thru court order of Warren Township Civil courts. She was cited many many times 7 to be exact, still no repairs fixes, or abatement of the property, of every mold can be found, also 2 years ago I found out I was suffering Colon Cancer, it went improperly diagnosed for those two years, till my most recent doctor decided to have a dye cat scan done to see why I was still having many issues. Well during my treatments I was staying at the InTown Suites to get away from the city's, crime wave, hustle and bustle of this city and all the annoying things that comes with big families. So the first few weeks were great minus the few bad Tennants flooding rooms and stomping around that was never addressed but we did notify the first manger that was on property, then the newly assigned one that resides the manager now for the property. Things were always great up till point this property manager who was so polite and kind, then all a sudden as his second week came around, a switch flipped and he became different one day and turned completely mad at my husband. He had words with other tenants that day as well which still wasn't like him, so we weren't the only ones to feel his wrath. Several other tenants also heard him and felt the wrath of a tierany with power issues. I personally never had an encounter except answering the door that day to let my husband take over the conversation with him. He was extremely rude hostile and over bearing and demanding this morning. He said he had to come to office "right now", now later not evening, "NOW", no manners to him this day. No please or thank you or screw off, just NOW... I HAD FELL ASLEEP, as with chemo and meds I'm on I get sick and tired often I was sick and was puking this morning wen I was rudely woken by Demetrius, the property manager raising his voice to my husband and him telling my husband to calm down, everyone knows that ADD and ADHD, ppl sound hyper but not raising their voices and to the ones that are clueless it's sounds like raising voices but it's really not just hyperness and obviously this manager does not know how to deal with behavioral issues such as this, and was even more rude and demanding. Property code and rules state last check out is 6 pm but this Manager wasn't even having that tho my husband was in process of already packing and loading stuff at 1pm while we wait on sister in law to send us the money to pay another two nites, and Demetrius didn't even give the chance to wait on this money, he made up his mind, mind you my husband wasn't bulligerant or cussing him out but this Manager complained about everything my husband did. The side door closes to our room, was not able to be accessed by key card, it was one of the malfunctioning things of the property, so he simply propped door open to take out things to car parked right outside. This manager insisted he go all the way around the building which was a long way around to get to far side or back door of building. The roll cart was on the third floor like usual cause their are rude guest who do not respect others whom have alot of stuff to bring in or out of property, so it stays on third floor where the manager refused to get it and make my husband walk out stuff out by pieces, and then insisted he walk all the way around a big building to get to side where he was parked instead of allowing him to use the side exit he was using and was closer to where room was and where car was parked, he harped and harped and got more loud and bulligerant with my husband like he was trying to get him locked up if he was to finally snap on him like egging on a bully at school, wait the manger this day was the school bully. Demetrius, didn't follow protocol, rules or company code, this day it was completely off script, like a nightmare movie or at least a bipolar schizophrenic madman trying to get guest mad enough to go off on him so he can like a narcissistic madman sit back and watch and laugh as to watch their work they create go to jail wen he actually didn't wait till 3pm even to demand we vacate that minute and things "don't work that way," wat way, the company posted way?, Well I guess every company rule and policy that's clearly stated on websites went out the door this day, I was to sick to stand, speak up or respond, See Demetrius, even if told my husband, me having cancer, wasn't his problem either, well technically, yes it is if something would have happened as my we all know stress causes many things in health to happen, and especially with an immunosuppressant compromised person with cancer, one heart attack away, would be a lawsuit and I've hired a lawyer for the purpose of suing the company for his behavior this day. So I'm suing for health and mental anguish from the company as well as a letter is being sent to the president and vice president of InTown Suites, to let them know this managers behavior this day and now going on a week, as I just learned this manager also does retaliation, against guest which is against every company code in the USA, and against the state and federal tenancy laws of every state, with the retaliation laws about reporting issues. This manager needs to read up, study Indiana and federal laws regarding "RETALIATION LAWS" and tenants as it's part of the upcoming lawsuit. Our neighbor to the south of us also left that day, because he saw how the manager behaved this day, oh to get back to my point, we tried one last time or was going to we thought, but the manager deleted, illegally and by no rights, was he allowed to do favoritism and delete reservations made by us the morning we were going to stay a week to try it one last time hoping it was just a very very bad day or a fluke, no we called to verify reservation, but Demetrius went into the system and deleted our reservation. This is against the company policy for a manager to delete a reservation without just cause which my husband gave him no just cause. Actually I'm really surprised my husband remained calm and collective minus hyperness mistaken by Demetrius as loudness. Also it falls under tenancy RETALIATION LAWS, that govern many states in this great, "United ' States of America! I have fought and won for less against landlords in this State, City and County, for alot less. Latest case and I represented myself and won $2350.45, in damages against the landlord in a local court. This time I've hired a law firm to represent me in the future case against Demetrius and InTown Suites for Discrimination, abuse of power, and many other issues I can't say,"it would be like showing all my good cards to the whole table", wat Demetrius fails to see, I'm college educated 3 times over, and know state and federal laws. I studied Business Law and Ethic, at University of Notre Dame, a Credited college, not some side he in the wall college where he might have or might not have attended to earn any kind of degree if any at all. He thought he messed with a dummy this day and thought my husband would back down, he did if u actually consider, his typical reactions, but he backed down cause he knew I was extremely sick this day which Demetrius said he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. It just became his problem as even the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, suggested to file suit, and told Demetrius, to stop wasting their time with stupid issues that can simply be resolved in house, or as they were as my husband did as he was told and was already packing not at 3pm or even 6pm like the website states is final check out. This manager broke company policies and rules that were even stated on its websites and company websites. He acted worse then a mental patient that escaped from insane asylum, it was a horror movie gone terribly bad, just was waiting for the green nasty pea soup to come flying out as the head spun around, but no luck there. My husband could have reacted alot worse and has but he maintained his behavior but this manager behavioral issues was against every company rule and policy for any company or hotel chain in America let alone a company not in the hotel business. It may be a hotel extended stay, which even the tenant rights even translates over to them as well, some rules not many differ just slightly but the MAIN ONES AND TENANT RIGHTS REMAIN THE SAME. since then we have stayed at a neighboring hotel and have seen cops at the InTown Suites, a total 3 times now in just a 3 day period so we assume his tierany behavior is just gotten worse and during bad weather he is getting a bad rap on this hotel chain and making the book of Law enforcement and a ("Public Common Nuisance") and soon will be cited by the city of Indianapolis as so after the 10th call to the property. It's the law too, after a property gets cops on the property ten times the cite the property after the 10th call as a" (Public, "Common Nuisance"property,) and the city will demand change or shut that property down thru a court of law. I'm sure Demetrius, was not aware of this law either, as it's a common law in most Indiana cities. This property already as it's public Knowledge, 7 calls this year already, 3 more it will be deemed a "Common nuisance" Property, and will start getting hefty fines, untill the city demands change or takes the company itself to civil court to shut the property down. This manager was also breaking other company rules by using his own power and codes to let ppl stay and party at this hotel on his dime or even the company dime, which is very much against company and corporate rules of misuse of power and abuse in company perks they get. His guest was often rude and loud and standing outside tenants doors listening as it was reported by my neighbor whom also went to hotel south, after seeing the tirrant in action this day. We kept in touch as we exchanged numbers while we all stayed at tell at the same time and days.

A good resolve to this issue would be a free week of stay since it was partially paid by us for most days we stayed in all and he made the last days a horrible mess as we saw things getting worse with other guest just not us till last days, but another supposed floor manager had some bad behaviors as well but I digress on that person. I go hear cause it was a mostly calm stay wen kids or parents didn't flood rooms and get the water to when hotel shut off, or angry tenants stomping on floors which almost seemed on purpose, not sure and don't quote me but was brought to attention of Demetrius, with no rescue to the issue and Demetrius dismissed the complaint completely anyways.

So these two kids being 6 years of age was breathing them smoking meth and could have been witnesses to their parents shooting heroin and meth mixes. We quickly left as we do not do drugs as I'm on chemo treatments for cancer. And my other half was a recovered addict and we did not want to witness anymore or be around it. So I'm leaving this in your hands and I if I was you would not let in your property manager if you plan to search the room of 142 or Demetrius guest room as Demetrius was caught coming out of his own guest that did not pay for room as we over heard one day him getting onto his guest for staying for free. Meanwhile Demetrius came out smelling like pot himself and it was strong so it wasn't just the smell but his eyes were so blood shot he did it himself. So if u approach Demetrius, he prolly deny and get rid of evidence that could lead in a bust and arrest in your place on Post Drive, Indianapolis Indiana location.

This time I've hired a law firm to represent me in the future case against Demetrius and InTown Suites for Discrimination, abuse of power, and many other issues I can't say,"it would be like showing all my good cards to the whole table", wat Demetrius fails to see, I'm college educated 3 times over, and know state and federal laws. I studied Business Law and Ethic, at University of Notre Dame, a Credited college, not some side he in the wall college where he might have or might not have attended to earn any kind of degree if any at all. He thought he messed with a dummy this day and thought my husband would back down, he did if u actually consider, his typical reactions, but he backed down cause he knew I was extremely sick this day which Demetrius said he didn't care and it wasn't his problem. It just became his problem as even the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, suggested to file suit, and told Demetrius, to stop wasting their time with stupid issues that can simply be resolved in house, or as they were as my husband did as he was told and was already packing not at 3pm or even 6pm like the website states is final check out. This manager broke company policies and rules that were even stated on its websites and company websites. He acted worse then a mental patient that escaped from insane asylum, it was a horror movie gone terribly bad, just was waiting for the green nasty pea soup to come flying out as the head spun around, but no luck there. My husband could have reacted alot worse and has but he maintained his behavior but this manager behavioral issues was against every company rule and policy for any company or hotel chain in America let alone a company not in the hotel business. It may be a hotel extended stay, which even the tenant rights even translates over to them as well, some rules not many differ just slightly but the MAIN ONES AND TENANT RIGHTS REMAIN THE SAME. since then we have stayed at a neighboring hotel and have seen cops at the InTown Suites, a total 3 times now in just a 3 day period so we assume his tierany behavior is just gotten worse and during bad weather he is getting a bad rap on this hotel chain and making the book of Law enforcement and a ("Public Common Nuisance") and soon will be cited by the city of Indianapolis as so after the 10th call to the property. It's the law too, after a property gets cops on the property ten times the cite the property after the 10th call as a" (Public, "Common Nuisance"property,) and the city will demand change or shut that property down thru a court of law. I'm sure Demetrius, was not aware of this law either, as it's a common law in most Indiana cities. This property already as it's public Knowledge, 7 calls this year already, 3 more it will be deemed a "Common nuisance" Property, and will start getting hefty fines, untill the city demands change or takes the company itself to civil court to shut the property down. This manager was also breaking other company rules by using his own power and codes to let ppl stay and party at this hotel on his dime or even the company dime, which is very much against company and corporate rules of misuse of power and abuse in company perks they get. His guest was often rude and loud and standing outside tenants doors listening as it was reported by my neighbor whom also went to hotel south, after seeing the tirrant in action this day. We kept in touch as we exchanged numbers while we all stayed at tell at the same time and days.

A good resolve to this issue would be a free week of stay since it was partially paid by us for most days we stayed in all and he made the last days a horrible mess as we saw things getting worse with other guest just not us till last days, but another supposed floor manager had some bad behaviors as well but I digress on that person. I go hear cause it was a mostly calm stay wen kids or parents didn't flood rooms and get the water to when hotel shut off, or angry tenants stomping on floors which almost seemed on purpose, not sure and don't quote me but was brought to attention of Demetrius, with no rescue to the issue and Demetrius dismissed the complaint completely anyways.

She was cited many many times 7 to be exact, still no repairs fixes, or abatement of the property, of every mold can be found, also 2 years ago I found out I was suffering Colon Cancer, it went improperly diagnosed for those two years, till my most recent doctor decided to have a dye cat scan done to see why I was still having many issues. Well during my treatments I was staying at the InTown Suites to get away from the city's, crime wave, hustle and bustle of this city and all the annoying things that comes with big families. So the first few weeks were great minus the few bad Tennants flooding rooms and stomping around that was never addressed but we did notify the first manger that was on property, then the newly assigned one that resides the manager now for the property. Things were always great up till point this property manager who was so polite and kind, then all a sudden as his second week came around, a switch flipped and he became different one day and turned completely mad at my husband. He had words with other tenants that day as well which still wasn't like him, so we weren't the only ones to feel his wrath. Several other tenants also heard him and felt the wrath of a tierany with power issues. I personally never had an encounter except answering the door that day to let my husband take over the conversation with him. He was extremely rude hostile and over bearing and demanding this morning. He said he had to come to office "right now", now later not evening, "NOW", no manners to him this day. No please or thank you or screw off, just NOW... I HAD FELL ASLEEP, as with chemo and meds I'm on I get sick and tired often I was sick and was puking this morning wen I was rudely woken by Demetrius, the property manager raising his voice to my husband and him telling my husband to calm down, everyone knows that ADD and ADHD, ppl sound hyper but not raising their voices and to the ones that are clueless it's sounds like raising voices but it's really not just hyperness and obviously this manager does not know how to deal with behavioral issues such as this, and was even more rude and demanding. Property code and rules state last check out is 6 pm but this Manager wasn't even having that tho my husband was in process of already packing and loading stuff at 1pm while we wait on sister in law to send us the money to pay another two nites, and Demetrius didn't even give the chance to wait on this money, he made up his mind, mind you my husband wasn't bulligerant or cussing him out but this Manager complained about everything my husband did. The side door closes to our room, was not able to be accessed by key card, it was one of the malfunctioning things of the property, so he simply propped door open to take out things to car parked right outside. This manager insisted he go all the way around the building which was a long way around to get to far side or back door of building. The roll cart was on the third floor like usual cause their are rude guest who do not respect others whom have alot of stuff to bring in or out of property, so it stays on third floor where the manager refused to get it and make my husband walk out stuff out by pieces, and then insisted he walk all the way around a big building to get to side where he was parked instead of allowing him to use the side exit he was using and was closer to where room was and where car was parked, he harped and harped and got more loud and bulligerant with my husband like he was trying to get him locked up if he was to finally snap on him like egging on a bully at school, wait the manger this day was the school bully. Demetrius, didn't follow protocol, rules or company code, this day it was completely off script, like a nightmare movie or at least a bipolar schizophrenic madman trying to get guest mad enough to go off on him so he can like a narcissistic madman sit back and watch and laugh as to watch their work they create go to jail wen he actually didn't wait till 3pm even to demand we vacate that minute and things "don't work that way," wat way, the company posted way?, Well I guess every company rule and policy that's clearly stated on websites went out the door this day, I was to sick to stand, speak up or respond, See Demetrius, even if told my husband, me having cancer, wasn't his problem either, well technically, yes it is if something would have happened as my we all know stress causes many things in health to happen, and especially with an immunosuppressant compromised person with cancer, one heart attack away, would be a lawsuit and I've hired a lawyer for the purpose of suing the company for his behavior this day. So I'm suing for health and mental anguish from the company as well as a letter is being sent to the president and vice president of InTown Suites, to let them know this managers behavior this day and now going on a week, as I just learned this manager also does retaliation, against guest which is against every company code in the USA, and against the state and federal tenancy laws of every state, with the retaliation laws about reporting issues. This manager needs to read up, study Indiana and federal laws regarding "RETALIATION LAWS" and tenants as it's part of the upcoming lawsuit. Our neighbor to the south of us also left that day, because he saw how the manager behaved this day, oh to get back to my point, we tried one last time or was going to we thought, but the manager deleted, illegally and by no rights, was he allowed to do favoritism and delete reservations made by us the morning we were going to stay a week to try it one last time hoping it was just a very very bad day or a fluke, no we called to verify reservation, but Demetrius went into the system and deleted our reservation. This is against the company policy for a manager to delete a reservation without just cause which my husband gave him no just cause. Actually I'm really surprised my husband remained calm and collective minus hyperness mistaken by Demetrius as loudness. Also it falls under tenancy RETALIATION LAWS, that govern many states in this great, "United ' States of America! I have fought and won for less against landlords in this State, City and County, for alot less. Latest case and I represented myself and won $2350.45, in damages against the landlord in a local court. First of all i want to start off by saying that this is the first time that we have stayed at this location that since he's been the general manager there but he has really left a very sour tast in my mouth we have always treated him with the most respect and for him to be so rude and disrespectful towards me and my husband and not even honoring the property renewal guidelines that is very clear outline on the website and the zero regards to my husband beening sick and having cancer is totally uncalled for he thought that i was going to be this punk that is not very knowledgeable and is very intelligent expecally when it comes to infection control... plus he seems not to care that the door i was using will not open from the outside even using the key card he let some of the other guests slam doors and stump around and be totally disrespectful to the other guests in the building the house keeping is extremely lack of every time that we have stayed there we had to clean our room from the top to the bottom and sanitize the room he may been having a bad day that

Desired outcome: I would like for him to be educated on customer service and for him to learn much better people skills and educated on separating his emotions from his customer servPlease call me [protected]

InTown Suites - customer service

I have reached out several times over the past 2-3 weeks about this location and the people that work here. No one has taken the time to respond to me so that me concerns were addressed. I have reached out via phone and via email. As a resident who paid to stay at this location for over 6 weeks I must say that I would never recommend to stay with this company. I can honestly say that you all do not care about your customers needs. I left this unprofessional place and would NEVER go back again. I have made a complaint to the BBB and will keep complaining until I am heard.

I have filed, voiced and relayed several complaints concerning the property Manager at the Intown Suites on Gunbarrel rd. chattanooga, TN. Within those complaints are evidence of illegal activity on the part of the property manager, dating back to October 2020. I have not received so mush as an email. Is it common practice to allow this type of behavior from an associate?

InTown Suites - unethical behavior

There was another incident today 8-9-19 the same representative Shawnte. I went to renew my week and she continued to ask me about the fee when I told her that i would not have it all i would pay towards it because I was off work from a heart attack. I told her that it would have been paid had her or the other employee would have told me when i had someone to pay it when I was in the hospital she then proceeded to say Well if your daughter would not have thrown the trash out the window you wouldn't have the fee. And I told her that she was very rude and if her and her collegue would have paid attention the fee would have been paid. She then started to yell and say she was not rude she has tried to help me. Keep in mind there is a lobby full of guest. I then told her that every review on the website is about her and her attitude she said she didn't give a damn about what it said. I told her that they call me every Friday to renew the room why didn't she call me when she seen that it was a past due balance or call to let me know that my daughter's breast pump was just sitting there. She said Clearly no one was in the room which was not true I have a 1 yr old baby in there along with my 17 year old daughter she continued to yell and told me that I didn't have to stay there I could leave I told her I was not going anywhere and she just took my money she continued to yell and said that she will call the police I told her I was not going anywhere and she just took the money off of my card. I did call her a disrespectful [censored] [censored] because she continued to yell and be unprofessional and threatened to call the police all of this in front of people. I walked out of the lobby to avoid me either going to jail or risking my kids and grandchild getting put out while i was at work. She then came from behind the desk out in the hall and yelled you can get out today you will now be back next week. I have been staying here for over 6 weeks and i have had nothing but issues with this location. I paid $315.00 for 5 weeks and still paying money now to be treated like this from an employee who has received NUMEROUS OF COMPLAINTS ON HER and no one has done anything about it. And I pay too much money to have to go through what i have been going thorough and we feel uncomfortable. I have made several complaints on line and have gotten no response. I will be finding another place to stay since she said that we will not be there next week. I advise you all to pay attention to who you have working for your company. I would personally not refer anyone at this location and the way my concerns have not been addressed is not a good look for the company... And what is even more upsetting is that no one has reached out to me about my issues.

The front desk person Shawnte is very rude. I have made several complaints and none have went answered. The first complaint was the people that stayed above me. Constantly making noise like they were coming through the floor. I work 2nd shift and this noise goes on when i get off, through out the night and in the morning. I called 4 times before contacting the front desk person during the day only for her to say with an attitude in these words Well i never knew anything about it. First of all the ghetto [censored] girl gets off at 7pm so she wouldn't be notified I called the person that was on call and a report was NEVER filed. The second issue is the guy Bill came and said if you don't want to be charged a littering fee then we need to get the diapers that was thrown out of the window and they had it on camera. She didn't show me the footage and on top of that when I sent my daughter down there to get the diapers they was not even the brand that my granddaughter used. And the dumb [censored] still charged me $50.00. Then there is the housekeepers that don't clean and walks around hitting herself in the head. They come in that room one day a week and I have to literally sit there and tell her how to clean. She does not do anything but spray some [censored] on the sink and toilet. Does not vacuum does not sweep before mopping don't clean the shower I have left [censored] out just to see if she will clean it and she didn't. She only brought 1 set of linen for a two bed room and got a attitude with my daughter when she asked her for another set. I reported her about not cleaning since I was paying $315.00 a week and the only response i got was she is old. I don't give a [censored] if she is old or not she don't need that job if she can't do it. So they put the $50.00 balance on my room I had some health issues and was not working so I had assistance with getting the room paid. By this time my tax credit kicked in Shawnte stated that she put a letter under my door about the balance which she didn't, when it was time to renew the room I asked her what was needed to be paid to get me thorough the week. She stated $240 something dollars. I go down to the office 4 days later and her words was I got bad news Anthony didn't charge you for the trash fee. But she was the one who took the payment when it was time to renew the room. It is not my fault that 2 employee's over looked that was not charged especially her since she is the one who put the charge on there in the first place. She said it would go on the following wees rate. I am pissed! Because the [censored] didn't even have the courtesy to call the room and let me know. S$270.00 is a big difference from $320.00 I was very pissed and contacted corporate 2 times and have YET TO RECEIVE A RESPONSE. I shouldn't have to pay because of their [censored] up. Last but not least, my daughter had a breast pump delivered there and NO ONE FROM THE FRONT OFFICE CONTACTED THE ROOM TO INFORM US THAT IS WAS THERE. It was delivered at 11:49am 8-8-19 after calling several times i finally left a message around 4:30 5pm and that is when my daughter was told that it was there. They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DON'T KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THE PUBLIC. For the past 6 weeks she has displayed NOTHING but a nasty [censored] attitude. One person that worked there looked like he was on drugs. Then the 2 housekeepers came in one day and one said no one is supposed to be in the room when they clean. [censored] that if the [censored]es don't clean while I am in there watching I know they are not going to do anything if I am not in the room. I would not recommend this place to a [censored]ing bed bug or stray animal. I feel like she has a problem with me don't like me or whatever because I spoke my mind and making my stay uncomfortable. What is sad is no one has reached out to me from the corporate office and I have emailed 2 times and left messages.
