Let me start by saying "Popeyes Chicken is by far my favorite. I'm a Retired Army Veteran so I don't travel to Elizabethtown often but when I do, I always stop a Popeyes. Today I decided to drive to Elizabethtown just to get Popeyes Chicken. This is 10 mile from my home. I use the phone app to make the purchase. I made sure I was there for the time my order was supposed to be ready. 3:23 PM.
I arrived a little early and noticed there was no vehicles in the drive-thru line. That was odd because in 17 years I've never saw this. I pulled into the parking lot and waited.
3:20pm - I drove through the drive-thru and told the cashier that I know I was a little early and asked about my order. She asked my name and told me to continue through. She said that they had to drop the apple pies and that when my order was ready, they would bring it right out. Again, I noticed that there wasn't any customers.
3:45pm - tried to enter the store but the doors were locked. One of the workers looked at me from inside the store and said nothing. I guess he was on break. Not sure. I went back to my car and drove back through the drive-thru and asked about my order. The cashier told me that they were dropping the apple pies now. I asked her for a refund and she told me that I would have to request it through the phone app.
I'm not sure what to make of that experience but it was the worse.
Desired outcome: Better customer service at the Elizabethtown Popeyes
